Juliana's Pov:
"How is that possible?" I voiced with confusion and desperation. Is she playing tricks on me? This is confusing and at the same time funny. No, it can't be true….. How is it possible that I am the one that tamed myself?
"I can't seem to understand, please explain," I sound confused.
"There is nothing hard not to understand," she uttered emotionlessly.
"There is a lot to explain," I yelled, she lifted her head before sighing.
"Why are you here?" She asked.
"That's not what I asked you," I snapped at her.
"Answer me! Why are you here?" Despite how calm the words rolled out of her lips, they still sounded serious and dangerous. I swallowed the lump in my throat.
"I was hiding," I murmured, "Why…..?" She questioned. I raised my brow in confusion at her question.
"Why do you ask as if you don't know?" I grit my teeth, she should stop playing dumb with me.
"I have no idea of what you are saying," she denied.
"Fine! They are after my life…… My posters are all out there," I pointed at the outside with gritted teeth. She shook her head in pain. Why is she pained? I suspiciously glanced at her, I was the one that was supposed to be pained not her.
"You are special…… and you and them don't have any idea," she mumbled out the words earning a mocking laugh from me.
"Special indeed!" I snarled
"Special with these cursed gifts or having been rejected by all my four mates!" I voiced out with pain and hurt.
"You are hurting yourself," she said, looking concerned.
"I was also in hiding……." She let out a sad smile, I suddenly went quiet as I gazed at her. Why is she hiding? All alone in this terrifying cave and mountain.
"Everyone thought that Cora, my sister, is the only witch on earth," she laughed bitterly.
"What…… What are you talking about?" I stammered, I looked at her skeptically and disdainfully. "Who is Cora?" I murmured to myself, but it was as if she heard me because she replied to my question.
"She is my elder sister, we got separated by an evil witch who cursed us for ages," she blurted out.
"What….. I don't get you?" I whispered.
"The curse is that whenever we meet each other face to face we will die…….. So to avoid any of us dying I escaped without anyone having an idea of where I am,"
"What about your sister?" I asked.
"Though she misses us, I could hear her wails and yarns to be with me. She bound in making sure that we stick together, to save her and as well myself……. I ran away for years now," she muttered.
"So what are you doing about it?"
"I have been trying to find a cure to break that spell that she placed on us," she retorted.
"Where is the witch that cursed you two now?"
"She's been dead for ages now," she uttered. I watched her wallow in pain, I felt for her but I couldn't do anything to help her.
"Don't you know that someone can walk inside this cave and find you?" I asked with a furrowed brow.
"Nobody has ever entered or known about this cave except you," she says.
"What!!!" I exclaimed, surprised.
"Yes….. That shows that you are special and a blessing," she said with a small smile.
"You are a blessing, dear……. I could feel connected to you somehow," her words yanked back. I slowly glanced at her with anger, she should stop calling me a blessing.
"You don't deserve this pain, you are too good and young to be passing through this trauma…….. The moon goddess gave you that gift because of a reason," she said.
"No!" I shook my head at her, "The moon goddess is cruel and wicked! I have been suffering and leaving in pain for years and you come to my face to tell me that she loved me,"
"She is mean and cruel for her kind, I did nothing bad to deserve this…….. How can she be punishing me because of my mother's adultery act!" I cried out.
"She loves you, dear. And you aren't suffering because of your mother's adultery act," she mumbled.
"The gift is a blessing and I am going to help you discover more about it," she declared.
"Good for trying to help me discover what I am not going to accept no matter what," I snarled. "The moon goddess should dash it to someone else because I am not ready to accept this curse," I state.
"This is not a curse, if you call it a curse then it will act like one," she says.
"If it is not a cursed power then what is it then?" I hissed.
Closing her eyes, she muttered, "You are going too far, dear….."
"Just help me and stop making me accept what is never going to happen," standing up, I yelled with teary eyes.
"Help! How exactly?" She snapped her eyes open with drawled lips.
"Help me make this power vanish!!" I screamed with a broken heart.
"I can't…." She murmured with her head lowered.
"You can!!" I shouted, "You just tamed it down, believe me, you can," with trembling lips, I pleaded. Tears dripped out of my eyes, I sneezed as I stared at her with pain and desperation.
"I am wanted out there," I let out as I pointed my hands behind me.
"Please……. Help me," kneeling instantly, I pleaded.
"I can't just make this power disappear like that, only the moon goddess can do it," she maintains.
"Please….. Please," I begged with a cracked voice. Tears rolled down my cheeks.
"Please as in how?" She asked with a knitted brow.
"Please, do you want me to die out there," I cried out.
"Fine! But it is not going to be easy," she accepts with difficulty as she stares at me with pity and pain. Her words scared me a bit but I ignored the scary words.
"And it is going to be painful," she mumbled, I nodded my head for her to do it. Is better that I withstand the pain than to wallow in pain throughout eternity, a tiny hope sneaking into my heart.
"Since your poster is everywhere outside both in your human and wolf form……. Even if I suppressed the power, you can still be recognized," she said.
"Wait!..... My wolf form, no! This is a monster, not my wolf form," I lashed out.
"It can't be Heaven," I mumbled with doubt.
"I would like to explain to you but since you don't want to discover anything about the power, I won't stress myself in that," she uttered.
"Please proceed with sealing the power," I motioned for her to continue.
"I will seal the power and change your appearance too," I smiled at her suggestion. I hope it works.
"I will give you a liquid content to drink twice every week to be able to suppress your Wolf and maintain this same appearance that I will transform you to," I nodded my head at her.
"But what about the power?" I asked with a delightful eye.
"The power is connected to your wolf and the wolf is the power," she said confusing me but I was not ready to ask her to explain further what she meant by that.
"Just help me," I muttered. "I just want to be like my fellow mates," I expressed.
"I won't remove the power completely because I can't do it but rather I will give a liquid substance to keep suppressing it….." She said,
"But I hope that I won't lose my wolf?" I asked.
"No!"
"What!!" I loudly exclaimed.
"Sealing the power means suppressing your wolf," I gaped at her with a horrified look. This can't be possible, I can't lose Heaven like that……. Though this is tempting, I can't leave Heaven, despite her distance and all that. She has been the one dear to me, she has been the only one close to me since my birth. But I can't keep hiding or wandering around with this cursed gift within. I am wanted out there, I need to experience this life like my fellow agemates without any stress or pain.
"You ready….." She asked with a voice full of no emotions.
I swallowed nervously with my eyes shut, snapping them open. Determination flashed across them, "I am more than ready…….
I am sorry Heaven, I need to lose you to find myself. Forgive me and I promise we meet again in another world with no cursed gift or any obstacle.
