Angela's POV
Today is the day when my plaster is finally going to be removed. Erish called the doctor in the morning for it. I was seated on my bed and waiting for him impatiently. Because now I feel irritated whenever I see this plaster. Because of this, I don't have anything to do and just sit on my bed like a sufferer. I hate this plaster on me. These few days became hell for me when I could not do simple tasks by myself and needed others' help. I am just not irritated because of this but also because of my busy husband, who did not have time for me. He again started ignoring me and spent more time in the study room or doing business work all the time in our bedroom. He slept before me and went to the office early in the morning without waiting for me to wake up. And when I asked questions, he told me he is busy with new projects. But my heart is telling me something is wrong. It's not about business. I really want to ask him, what is his real problem? Why does he sometimes sound like a gentle husband and then become like a stranger? It's starting to become hard for me to understand him each day. He is just not the same person whom I know.
I want to ask him!! Fight with him!! But fear of making him angry or upset like last on our wedding night. I don't want to do that after knowing his reason to be busy. He is working on a new project all alone.
What if he is really busy and he doesn't mean to avoid me? I don't want to feel embarrassed like last time.
I'm just thinking all this in my head when suddenly my room's door opens and Erish comes inside with the doctor who is just beside him.
Seeing them I came back to reality and stood up from my place and greeted the doctor, " Good morning! Doctor Del! "
"Hello, Mrs.Angela!" He smiled at me and Erish stand up there looking at both of us.
"Please lie on your bed! I need to check up on your health first! " He politely said to me, and I nodded my head smiling lightly.
First, he checks my hand veins and then my heartbeat. After checking it, he told me that my health is well. There is no worry. He started to open my plaster and Erish told him to be more gentle which made me smile.
Opening the plaster, he started asking me some questions.
Like, Do I still have any kind of pain in my hands??
Or I feel uncomfortable in some way by touching there.
I answered all his questions line by line until I heard his last question which makes my eyes widened and I blushed immediately.
"Did I do any intimate things?? "
I don't understand, why is he asking this type of question??? Didn't my hand fracture??? Why is this question essential??? Even Erish heard it who is just standing beside him but he didn't show any expression. What does this all mean??? I just thought in my mind?
"You didn't answer, Mrs. Angela!" His face was serious. As a doctor..this type of question is normal for them. But I just feel awkward to answer him when Erish answered his question, " No doctor!" And hearing that I just feel like digging a hole to hide there.
"That's great! It means you both followed my advice!" He said with a big smile on his face but I became confused with his words.
What does he mean by saying this???? I just thought in my mind.
"Mrs. Angela, you are lucky! Your husband truly cares about you so much." He again continued his words.
"What the hell is he talking about??? Why couldn't I understand a single word of it??? And why is he suddenly saying that my husband loves me so much?? When I told him we weren't intimate. Is he laughing at us? I just thought about it and became angry with the doctor."
But maintaining my calm face I asked him " What do you mean by it doctor??? Can you explain it to me?" I wanted to crush him but didn't show it.
And I was furious at Erish also, how can he listen to everything in a calm tone without showing any reaction. Can't he understand this doctor's sarcastic laugh for us?
"I told your husband to avoid intimate contact with you for this week. Because sex needs force and you can't do any type of physical activity for these days. Single mistakes can make your hands conditions worse. That's why I advised him to avoid this type of contact. As a new young married couple, I know, people become aggressive when it's come to sex. They wanted to enjoy their nights. But Mr. Erish not only took my advice but also called me each day and told me about your health. He…"
"Cough...Cough.Doctor Del, I think it's enough!"
Before the doctor continued his words Erish deliberately interrupted and stopped him.
But I already understand everything. And looked at him who is now a little nervous. I just smiled at him and he stared at me with a slight smile.
"Silly Angela!! How can you doubt your husband who just cares about you all the time. And avoided you just for your health."
I just crushed myself in my mind and again the bright smile takes place on my lips. To think that this is all my misunderstanding. He loves me more than I thought.
"Thank you doctor for telling me!"
Thanks to the doctor that he told me about this or I don't know how I would react.
"No worry!"
"Now your hand is alright!! So you can now spend your normal couple life!" I and Erish both understood his meaning and Our eyes collided with each other the next second but because of embarrassment, we both avoided it immediately.
