Eric's POV
Today that night has also arrived! Which I had been avoiding for a long time. Angela was sleeping in the bed next to me. She was very scared because of the incident and I couldn't muster up the courage to leave her alone in this condition. And somewhere I was afraid that maybe she might have nightmares at night or she might wake up from her sleep. And if I had given her the reason for leaving, she might have understood my false excuse because I have a head injury and I can't work right now. Not after what happened. At least for the night.
The bed was big enough so I breathed a sigh of relief in my heart that I would be able to sleep while keeping my distance from her. And in a short time, Angela fell asleep and curled up on her side at the same time I also closed my eyes after a few minutes.
When I was about to go into a deep sleep. My eyes immediately opened in the middle of the night when I felt the warmth next to me. I frowned in irritation and just checked beside me. It was Angela, who is sleeping clinging to me as if she has taken a pillow. While one of her hands is on my chest, one of her legs is on my feet. I could not even move from my place as I was held by her.
"In this way, she looks thin in appearance, but I do not know from where she got so much strength that I am not able to get rid of her clutches." All I keep thinking about is that only then her grip on me becomes stronger.
Her sweet and fresh fragrance enters my nose which makes me lose my calm mind. I greedily inhaled her aroma and it made my eyes darker with desire. The desire for her rosy lips which is just a few inches distant from me, the desire for her soft snow-white body which is touching my body with her soft and white hands on my bare chest. I just want to press her under me. I don't want to restrain myself anymore and the next second I immediately bent down to kiss her soft lips. At this moment it seemed that my whole body was burning with consummation and I lost my last panel control from my body.
But before I could touch her lips, her grip loosened from me and she turned her back towards me. Everything happened so fast that I didn't understand what I was about to do? For a moment I felt like I was pulled out of my dreams. Somebody filled a bucket and poured ice water on my head and all the heat from my body was removed. My body nowadays always reacts towards her like this which makes me feel unbearable. But without knowing my real identity I could not make her lose her important thing.
In this way, Angela slept soundly all night, but I kept on changing sides all night.
"Why did you go to the kitchen? I told you earlier that there is no need for you to go there, yet you went!!!" I stared angrily at Angela, who was standing with porridge in her hands.
This morning my eyes were open late and as soon as I sat down I saw Angela who was near the door and was coming in holding the tray in her hand. There is a bowl in the tray, from which the aroma of porridge is coming. When I see that, I get infuriated.
"Erish, I know that you have forbidden me from going to the kitchen, so I did not cook this food, but it was prepared by our home chef." She explained to me with a warry smile and I breathed in relief. I didn't want her to get hurt again like last time.
After she had finished her explanation, she placed the tray on the small table which was next to the large bed and she sat down on the chair which was also next to the bed.
"You didn't need to do all this," I said looking at her.
She picked up the bowl from the tray and then took the food in the spoon and brought it to my lips and said - "How could that be??? As your wife, it is my duty to take care of my husband if he is ill."
On hearing this, my heartfelt warmth and I started looking deeply into her eyes and at that time there was a slight smile on her face.
"Now open your mouth!" She ordered me and I didn't refuse her.
She started to feed me and I was like a disciplined child who didn't say any words at all and just concentrated on eating without making any fuss.
Day by day I started to be attracted to her like never did before where my heart and my mind didn't support my rejection towards her or hurt her feelings anyway.
When I finished the porridge, she smiled widely with satisfaction and then took the tray, bowl and left the room. I chuckled lightly seeing her childish behavior.
*Crack!!!!!!*
While I was smiling thinking all this then suddenly a heavy sound of breaking something came on my ears and that sound was of breaking of some glass and as soon as I thought of this, the first thought of Angela came to me, who just a while back was carrying a bowl and tray.
Thinking this, I got up from my bed in panic and immediately tried to go outside the room and look but then another voice fell on my ears, which was her scream, a Painful scream.
"Angela!!!"
Hearing that my heart sank and I immediately ran towards the ladder where I found Angela standing.
Seeing her safe and sound, my heart was relieved and I immediately reached out to her.
My eyes went down the ladder, where the bowl and the tray were broken into thousands of pieces and scattered all around.
"Angela, Are you okay?" I asked her, cupping her face with my hands.
Her face was looking pale and it felt like she was in so much pain and then I realized that she was pressing her right arm with another hand. I asked her again.
"Angela, What happened to your hand?? "
I was so scared to see her like this.
"Er...Erish..h.. my hand! " Her forehead becomes sweaty and her face is full of pain. She was biting her lips restlessly. Like she was trying to endure the pain.
I looked carefully at her right arm. which was very badly swollen and could be seen clearly.
I was stunned to see this because there was nothing like this last night and just a while ago she fed me with her right hand but all that time my eyes were not on her hands but all my attention on her face.
Seeing my stupidity, I cursed myself in my heart. How can I be so careless that she was in pain in front of me the whole time but I could not know her pain?
I greeted my teeth in frustration and without delaying any more seconds I just took her in my lap and went back to the bedroom. After that, I ordered one of the servants to call the doctor immediately.
