Eric's POV
I thought that if I went home late from the office, she must have slept before I came home, but upon reaching home, I saw that she had fallen asleep waiting for me on the dining table.
I unbuttoned my suit and put it on the sofa and sat down on the chair right next to her. I began to look intently at her sleeping face. She looked even more beautiful as she slept. Then my eyes fell on some strands of her hair which had fallen right on her face. Those strands were touching her eyes and resting on her pink lips.
I went closer to her face and with my hands tried to slowly pull her locks away from her beautiful face and stuck them behind her soft ears.
Doing this, her gorgeous face comes in front of my eyes, which I want to keep in my dreams day and night.
I stared at her face for a long time. And started thinking in my mind that I wish this moment would stop this time and I could keep looking at her in this way without any worries.
Her sleeping face looks even more attractive in silence and my gaze falls on her lips as I move away from her face.
Her lips attract my inner desire which looks so rosy and pink. Seeing them, for a moment I thought that I should grab those pink lips with the help of my lips. And the very next moment my thoughts overcame my feelings. When I felt a wave touching her once. I found myself impatient, helpless and pulled closer to her. I bowed my face and brought it closer to her face. There was a gap of only a few inches between our faces, which I wanted to erase. And being so close, I could smell her aroma and her sweet breath. Which I inhaled within myself with a long breath.
After having tasted her sweet lips once, I was now tempted by her rosy lips every time, which made it impossible for me to stay away from it, for so many days.
When I was going closer to her face, becoming thirsty for her velvety juicy lips, suddenly she opened her eyes in the middle, and my dark black eyes collided with her brown eyes the next moment.
Her eyes widened with surprise and her face turned to redden. But despite this, she did not move from her place, but the very next moment she closed her eyes again and tightened that too.
Seeing such an act brings a small smile to my face. And I remove even that small gap between us due to which our lips collide with each other.
At that time I feel as if my whole body is on fire and only Angela can put out this fire!
But before I can fully grasp her lips, my phone rings.
As soon as the phone rings, I come back to a bitter reality and all my love intoxication goes away and I go straight to the room with the phone without looking at her.
As soon as I enter the study room, I disconnect the phone and punch my hand against the wall in anger and frustration.
For how many days can this go on? How can I stop myself in such situations every time? At this thought, I grieved from inside.
Thinking about all these questions, I stay in the room for a long time.
Just then I hear Angela's voice knocking on the door outside the study room.
"Erish! Are you busy?"
I bit my lower lips with frustration and, closing my eyes, without thinking anything, I said yes to her.
"There was an urgent call from the office and I will take some time to finish the work."
"A...And it's already late, so you go and rest!" I hesitate to say those words, but there is nothing I can do for her so that she can not feel better. I can not give her what she wants and what she deserves as my wife.
This is the cruel destiny I choose by myself and I don't even have the right to mourn over it.
"Okay, I will wait for you in the room!" She said and I just hummed.
Hearing her answer, my heart ached with suffering. I get miserable with myself. Every time I deny her in this way but she never disrespects me and my circumstances are such that I cannot even express anything, even if I want to.
Thinking all this, I don't realize when I fell asleep on the same chair. But suddenly in the middle of the night, the knocking sound of the door falls on my ears and my closing eyes open immediately.
As soon as I open my eyes, my eyes move to the wall clock, which is showing
1 o'clock in the night.
I get up from my chair and walk closer to the door when I hear Angela's voice, which is right on the other side of the door. She is slowly knocking on the door and calling my name in a low voice.
"Erish...Erish..!!"
Her voice is so low that I don't even feel her panicked voice clearly until I get closer to the door.
But when I realized a little panic in her voice, I immediately opened the door and my eyes fell on Angela, who stood outside in a panic, and the next moment she just hugged my chest tightly.
Suddenly seeing her scared and trembling in this manner, I was also scared and tried to ask her in a coaxing voice without moving from the spot.
"Angela! What happened?"
"Why are you trembling like this? "
"E..Er...Erish...Somebody has entered into the house…!!" She pointed to the living room with a shivering finger.
After listening to her, I understand that maybe thieves have entered the house.
Thinking this, I instructed her to stay in the study room and close the door from inside.
"Erish, Don't go..just call the police.. Don't go..!!" She said in bewildering words, stopping me from going outside.
"Angela, Don't be scared! Being here with me no one will do anything to you!! Just trust me!!" I said, cupping her face and staring at her eyes.
"Do you trust me, Angela?" I tried to calm her and to my surprise, she answered me.
"Yes, With my life!!" staring at me with determination.
Hearing this, I smiled lightly and continued my words.
"Then just do as I said."
And she nodded to me lightly.
