Stablish High-school
Mr Henry came into class three and the class became quite suddenly, they greeted him and took their seat to hear what he had to say.
Mr Henry smile and stood at the front of the class, a thing about his smile made the students curious. "The day which you all have been waiting for is soon approaching."
"Could it be the class trip?" Amanda one of the students asked in excitement.
Mr Henry chuckled. "Amanda, you are quick to reason." He paused and look at the students who had their eyes on him with fingers crossed. "Yes, the class trip is coming up soon." All the students cheered loudly as they whisper to themselves in blissful glee.
"I can't wait, sir."
"So when is it?"
"Yes, when is it?"
Almost all the students were talking at a time as they turned their focus back to him. "Next week Saturday, we are staying over for two days and one night." He announced.
"Wow! I am loving this!" Some student shouted in glee.
"So, get your things ready." Mr Henry handed the students at the front some slip and they passed it back till it got to the whole student. "Inform your parents about it too."
"Sir is there any requirements?" A student asked him.
"Just come prepared and..." Mr Henry opened a big bag. "Here." He hands each of them a field even clothes. "It is for the camp and places it in your lockers until that day." He paused and look at the students who examined the new wear. "Any other questions?"
"Sir, where are we heading to?" Sofia asked him.
"Good question, Becks Island." Mr Henry announced and the students looked at him shocked.
"Sir, I heard it is dangerous out there," Kelly spoke for all.
Mr Henry smile. "Remember it is an excursion, and we are also going in a group, won't you like to experience something new, I guarantee you all that the sight is amazing and you will all love it." This brought a smile to some student faces.
"Sir, where would we came?"
"Not to worry Suzy, there is a camp house there and remember to study your riddles and you can all practice some sport, because it won't be easy, meanwhile..." He handed them the list of events they will do. "The best out of this list will receive an award."
"All this?" D'mally glance through the list and looked up at Mr Henry again.
"Yes, and we will determine the winner of the last race too." Mr Henry closed his book.
"Sir, Cindy did not run last time.e." Russeli reminded him and the class look at Cindy and then at their headteacher.
"She have to practice too, she will have to join." Mr Henry looked over at Suzy. "Suzy, you did well at the last riddle, I hope you would study harder because more challenge would be coming up, so you all should give it your best, also, Suzy you did well at volleyball last time, so aim for the highest." Suzy nod proudly and Mr Henry turned to the rest of the class. "Remember this will be fun.
"Yes." All the student's chorus.
"And the boys, you all should be prepared for the football game." Mr Henry turns to Russeli. "Russeli, you and your team wouldn't want to lose again, would you?" Then he turns to Jeffery. "Jeffery, I am also sure you and your team won't want to give in, so the competition will be on Saturday."
He picked up his book and bag to leave, but remembered something and stop. "One last thing, there would be a treasure search, so prepare well." With that Jeffery walked away.
"Seems to be fun." Janet, Cindy friend told her with a smile on her face.
"Jeffery, it would just like when we were little, remember the last trip we went to." D'mally reminded him.
Jeffrey turned his eyes to look at Cindy who was talking with her friends. "I hope it would." He said softly with a sad expression.
Bella turned to Suzy who was still glancing at the list she had been given. "You will have to practice hard on riddles since you got Cindy as a rival."
Suzy shoots her a glare. "I got no rival!" She put her things in her locker and left the class.
Jeffery Walsh POV
I saw Suzy leave the class, this was a perfect opportunity to speak to her alone, to clear the misunderstanding, I went after her and found her in the lobby.
"Suzy let's talk," I told her and walked upstairs to the rooftop, she got the message and followed me, I wanted to be away from the stare of students, I just want to talk to her privately.
"What is it?" She asked me with a very tantalising voice, I faced her with my hands in my pocket, she was smiling, obviously thinking I wanted to make a love confession, but this was the opposite.
"Did you tell me you love me at the bar?" I asked her to clarify my doubts, I was still thinking it was just my imagination, but the look on her face had already confirmed it, even before she spoke the word.
