"Russeli, is something wrong with Cindy?" Chris asked him immediately he returned to his seat.
"She seems to be sad by something, she doesn't want to tell me about it either." Russeli turns his eyes and saw Jeffery staring at Cindy and he furrowed his brow. "What is the matter with that transferred student?"
"He has been staring at her for a while now," Awson replied, also turning his head to look at Jeffery.
Russeli looks at Cindy and then back at Jeffery and shook his head. "I feel uneasy." He muttered to himself and exhaled softly.
"Hey, dude, stop staring at her that way," Chad told Jeffery as he touched him lightly on the hand.
"Yeah, look, everyone is watching and whispering," D'mally added, but Jeffery did not stop, he couldn't see anyone or anything in the class but Cindy.
"I can't just help it, why did I not recognise her earlier? Why did I humiliate her so much, I am so mad at myself right now, that I want to hurt myself so much and hard." Jeffery said softly in a sad voice.
"What did she say to you?" Chad asked him.
"She is soaked at me, but I don't blame her, it is all my fault." Jeffery rubs his hands on his face.
"Have you told her the reason you left in a hurry that day?" D'mally asked and Jeffery shook his head, then he looks at Cindy again.
"She doesn't want to hear me out, what should I do now?" He faces his friends with a sad expression and they stare back at him speechless.
The bell rang and the students dismissed, leaving the gate to their home, Suzy came close to Jeffery who was tailing Cindy, he was desperate to know where she leaves and will keep following her until she talks to him.
"Jeffery." Suzy stood in his front, blocking his path as Jeffery stop to look at her. "Let’s hang out today." She said with a fake smile all on her face. "We can go to the part, yes the roller coaster would be fun, we would also see a movie." She continues talking.
"Not today Suzy." His words made her silent. "Not today." He said softly again and walked past her, going after Cindy before he lost sight of her, Suzy didn't follow she just watched him leave in anger.
"Hey, Cindy!" Janet who was with Cindy turn to her with smiles on her face and Cindy looked at her as they continue walking ahead. "Do you have plans today?" She asked.
"I just want to go home and rest," Cindy said softly and it was obvious from her voice that she was tired and not in the mood for plays.
"Do you still hurt somewhere?" Janet scan Cindy's body with a worried expression, Cindy shook her head and it made Janet a bit relieved. "Okay, catch some sleep then, bye." She smiles and waved at Cindy before leaving with Kelly.
Cindy stopped a taxi and got in as it drove off, Jeffery was about to follow but Russeli stood in his front making him stop. "Hey transferred student." Russeli looked at Jeffery with a stern look.
Jeffery looked at the road and the taxi Cindy got into has been long gone, he exhaled softly and turned to Russeli. "Yes, how may I help you?"
Russeli smile when he noticed that Cindy was not going to be followed by this newly transferred student, he put his hand into his side pocket. "You have to buy me lunch," Russeli told him and Jeffrey raised the corner of his brow. "You beat me in the last match, so you have to buy me a lunch."
Jeffery looks at Russeli closely, this boy had just stopped him and made him lose his tail on Cindy and just to talk nonsense. "I am not in the mood today, maybe next time." He turned to leave.
"Don't like Cindy!" Russell's word made him halt. "I love her," Russeli said seriously and this time Jeffery faced him.
"Then you should stop that feeling now and right here," Jeffery said softly and yet so serious.
"Who the heck are you to like Cindy and stare at her like that?" Russeli who was good at reading peoples expression had figured it all out on his own, be knows what someone does when they are in love, just like staring and following Cindy.
Jeffery tilts his head to the side, putting his hands into his pocket. "I should be asking you that." He said indifferently, there were fewer people close to the school now, and it was a little bit quiet too.
"I am warning you now, don't bother Cindy because she is my girl." Russeli who had feelings already for Cindy made it clear to Jeffery, he won't let someone else look at Cindy with those eyes and like that.
"You can't own Cindy." Jeffery was calm as he spoke, already tired of wasting time with this boy out here. "I don't care to know who you are, but stay away from Cindy, because you do not know the back story." With that Jeffery turned and walk away without turning back.
This made Russeli wonder who Jeffery is, he had also seen the expression on Cindy's face today. "Have I found my rival in love?" Russeli asked himself.
