Jeffery and Cindy sat down at lipazo restaurant eating the meal they have ordered. Jeffery stares at Cindy for a long time with a smile on his lips. "Were you jealous when I left earlier with Suzy?"
Cindy looks up from her food and arches her brow. "Why should I be?" She could see Jeffery giggle, sure enough, he was loving her reaction. "When I smiled at Russeli, were you jealous?" She retorts.
"Yes," Jeffery said seriously and Cindy looks at his face. "I don't like you smiling at other boys."
Cindy cleared her throat and averted her gaze. "Why are you saying and looking so serious like that?" She looks at him again.
"That is because I am serious, you are mine and mine alone." He told her and leans close to the table.
Cindy rolled her eyes. "I am not yours, only I can own myself." She started eating again.
"And who are you to decide that?" He asked, leaning closer and Cindy look up at his face, she pressed down her lips as her eyes narrow down his lips, why was he acting this way all of a sudden.
"I am me." She said softly.
"Such confidence." Jeffery smile and Cindy wonder what he was thinking now if only she could read minds as Russeli does to her. "I love it." He lifts the corner of his lips and stares into her eyes.
"Why did I fail to recognise this beauty first." Cindy was silent, he leans closer for a kiss, but they were interrupted when they heard the sound of a spoon that fell to the ground, Jeffery leans back to his chair. "The meal look delicious." He crossed his arms.
Cindy scoff. "Were you playing with me just now?"
Jeffery shook his head and placed his hands back on the desk. "No, we were interrupted, or should we go to a more lonely place and continue?" He tilts his head to his side and touched his lips with a smirk.
Cindy rolled her eyes, just now, Jeffery looks like a playboy, and that smirk, the look on his face, if she doesn't know him, she would have fallen for it right away. "What are you saying?" She sigh. "I am going home now." Cindy put down her spoon.
Jeffery started laughing and she paused. "You are so cute acting this way, let's just enjoy our meal, I won't do anything. "He told her as he raised his hands, like in surrender. "Please."
Can anyone ever stay angry with this handsome person, Cindy picked up her spoon and start eating again, without glancing up at him, even when knowing that his eyes never left her.

Marcus, Cindy's father, got dressed to go shopping at the grocery store, he came downstairs and saw Cindy on the couch with her head resting on the armchair. "Cindy, I am leaving now, do you want to accompany me?"
"No dad, I am really tired at the moment, I have to rest a bit, you can go on without me." She flashed him a smile.
"Okay, do rest well." He picked up his wallet and car keys.
"Here." Cindy hands him a shopping list. "I pulled them up together, it is all we are short of, this list will make it less stressful for you."
Marcus chuckled. "That is so thoughtful of you, you are still the boss, just like four years ago." He looks down at the list. "I will get the boss." Cindy smiles and pecks him, before waving him goodbye and sinking back to the couch.
Marcus left the house to the grocery store, as he picks the items he wants, he saw a familiar friend and left his shopping barrow and walked closer.
To confirm if he was imagining things or if it was true, he gently tapped the ladies shoulder. "Louisa Brown."
The lady turned around when she heard her name and she almost lost her balance and supported herself by holding her barrow. "Marcus." Tears filled her eyes in an instance.
