No One’s POV

He was none other but Jame’s father. Zayden looked at him in disgust. He recognized him as one of his guards. When the other guards left him on his own feet, he instantly fell on Zayden’s feet begging with his hand-tied. Grace gasped at his vulnerability but Zayden seemed unaffected by it. His heart was stone and these petty begging didn’t affect him. Only one person had the power to affect him and she was inside the villa, in the kitchen, preparing dinner for both of them.
Eric said something to Zayden and Grace of course, but couldn't hear anything.
“Alpha, we beat the crap out of him but he still didn’t speak a word.”, Eric informed on which Zayden nodded seriously.
“Alpha, I am sorry. Please forgive me. I was threatened. You knew that I had already lost my son and this time the target was my wife. He...he said that he will kill my love, if I will not tell about you.”, The betrayer spoke.
Zayden exactly knew who this HE was. Yet, he wanted to hear his name from his mouth.
“Who is HE?”, Zayden asked. His voice came painfully deep which gave shivers to all the three witnesses. The betrayer didn’t speak. It irritated Zayden. He hated when people didn’t speak. “Eric…”, He lifted his hand in front of Eric. Quickly mindlink one of the guards and he came after a minute, holding hot liquid silver in an iron bowl. While Eric removed his gun from his waist pocket and handed it to his alpha.
Eric knew Zayden a lot better than others and he had the habit of understanding his words even though Zayden rarely speaks in sentences. It shocked Eric that Zayden wasn’t carrying his modified gun today. He tried to understand what could be the reason behind this?
And then he realized that Zayden was with his wife a moment before and Most of them knew that Grace was a peace-loving woman.
Grace gasped at the view of the gun.
‘He is not going to kill him, is he?’, She thought, feeling pity over Jame’s father.
“Now...I hate to repeat myself.”, Zayden said.
“Please...forgive me, Alpha. He will kill me if I tell his name.”, The betrayer spoke.
“Either way, you are going to die. So, open your fucking mouth.”, Zayden roared. He still didn’t open his mouth. The other two guards thought how stupid this man was to disobey Zayden again.
“WHO.IS.HE?”, Zayden asked for one more last time. No reply. He signaled the guard who was holding the liquid silver, knowing what his alpha asked him to do. He started walking toward the betrayer.
“I have my blind mate to take care of, Alpha. Please don’t kill me.”
“I don’t give a fuck to your mate. You should have thought about the consequences before you went against me.”
“I am sorry, Alpha. Please give me one chance.”
Zayden chuckled at this. “And why should I do that?”, He asked, raising his brow.
“I...I…”, He stammered not knowing what to say.
“I don’t give another chance. I hate lies and liars and the same goes with betrayals and betrayers. Everyone should know that.”, He declared.
“But...but you gave Grace so many chances even after she lied for so many things.”, He had the audacity to bring his sweetheart in this matter. Zayden took the iron bowl from the hand of his guard and forced him to drink in one go. The betrayal started shouting and crying in pain. Zayden would have let him die in that way but he was afraid what if Grace heard his voice?
So instead of giving him a horrible death, he lifted his gun and pulled the trigger. With almost no noise, the betrayer fell on the pavement. The gun had a silencer of course.
Eric gasped in shock. Even though he knew this was coming, but not this soon. Zayden was famous for torturing his prey. Surely, this man was lucky to die with one bullet, rather than dying from Zayden’s claws.”
“Alpha, now how will we know who is behind this?”, Eric asked.
“Are you bind, Eric? Don’t you know who this is?”, Zayden scolded him. Eric lowered his gaze. Zayden had so many enemies, who could it be? He wondered.
“Sorry, Alpha. But I can’t point at one person.”, Eric confessed.
“Wyatt.”, Zayden declared.
“Your brother?”, Eric asked in disbelief.
“Half.”, Zayden corrected. “Only he would be interested in my personal life.”, He added. For a few seconds, he kept quiet, until he decided to give orders. He turned towards the guards. “Clean this mess. I don’t want a trace of blood here. If Grace figures out anything then remember I will eat you all one by one.”, He roared and then faced Eric again.
“Get more guards to patrol this area. Wyatt will surely try to contact Grace. And I don’t want Grace to find anything about him. Do you get this clear?”, He asked.
“Crystal clear.”
“And bring Allison here as soon as possible.”, Zayden told Eric.
“Okay, Alpha.”

After a while, Eric sighed in relief when Zayden left. He then turned toward the guards. “Spread this news that no one….NO ONE should speak Luna’s name in front of Alpha or else he will not hesitate to tear us apart. Got it?”, Eric said and the guards nodded.
‘Why Alpha is so obsessed with Grace? She is not even his real mate!’, Eric thought.

As soon as Zayden entered the house, he was greeted by Grace who smelt scared.
‘How can he be so cruel! How can he not hesitate before killing anyone. Oh my god! My husband is really a criminal...will he ever change?’, She thought while trying to focus on cooking the food.
Zayden eyed her suspiciously. Various thoughts swarmed in his head.
‘Did she see everything? Did he hear everything? But that’s not possible because I didn’t smell her presence near me at that time. But if she had seen me then...what is she thinking about me? Oh no! I can’t bear her hatred toward me!’, He thought.
