No One’s POV

Once they were done with the dishes, Grace remembered what Zayden had said earlier.
“You were talking about ordering lunch from the hostel or restaurant, weren't you?”
“Yes!”
“But don’t you think it’s not good for your health i.e having food from the outside all the time!”
“I...I never thought in that way. I will hire an Omega who will cook…”
“No, that is not required.”, Grace quickly interrupted him.
“Then what do you want? I don’t know how to cook. I generally prefer ordering food from the nearby hostel or restaurant. Or, hunt down the deers or other animals for my meal.” Grace’s eyes widened in shock after listening to Zayden's words. Before her fear could have started returning, she heard. “I will never hurt you, sweetheart.”
“But...But you said that you will eat me alive.”, She reminded him.
“Like seriously? Out of everything, you remember that? I have said so many romantic things to you but I highly doubt that you even remember them and you have remembered the fake threat which I had given to you?”, He asked, raising his brow to which she nodded her head innocently. “Moon Goddess, you are so cute.”, He whispered and leaned toward her. Grace tried to step back but it was already too late.
She shut her eyes nervously. “Please...Please...Please…”
She stopped whispering when she felt a perk on her cheek. ‘Thank god, he didn’t kiss me on my lips.’, She mentally thought and opened her one eye and then second, only to find him staring at her intensely.
“We will talk about what we will do for lunch. As for now, I have some work, okay?”, He said to which she nodded, before leaving from there.

Grace came and stood near the window of their room, looking at the forest near her. She started recalling everything that had happened in the last few days. She was waiting for Zayden so that she could share the idea of cooking the meal for both of them on her own but he was taking more time than she expected. To pass her time, she finally sat on the bed and thought about using her mobile.
She opened her Whats*App and her eyes saw a few unread messages from an unknown number. She furrowed her eyebrow wondering whose message it could be. She opened the messages and downloaded the pictures which were sent by that unknown number. And the moment she realized what kinds of pictures were those, it was already too late because her mobile was snatched away.
She turned around to see the intruder but met face to face with her own very furious werewolf husband. Well, why wouldn’t he be? After all those pictures were of that moment when James had kissed her forcefully and the worst fact was his face was not clear in his picture.
“Z.Zayden!!”, Grace whispered in fear as she looked at him. His composure was so stiff and his golden eyes held so much anger that she swore it would be her last day on earth. Zayden tightened his grip on the phone more if that was even possible. He was furious and….hurt that his mate had betrayed him. Of course, he didn’t know the truth then.
“It.It’s not what you think.”, She said the words out, knowing that he was misunderstanding her. Well, anyone would have done the same.
She expected him to say something or to do something like yell at her or slap her just like a criminal like him does. But he didn’t do anything, just stared at her in disbelief. It frustrated her. It was making her feel like she cheated on him. She didn’t have the strength to look in his eyes anymore.
“Please...say something.”, She whispered nervously. Thank god for his supernatural power to listen to even a whisper otherwise he would not have even been able to hear her. Zayden suddenly threw her mobile and the sound of the phone breaking startled her. Her eyes grew wide with fear.
“Zayden!”, She whimpered.
He instantly gripped both her arms in a very tight grip and pushed her against the bed. The sudden movement and force hit her like hell and it hurt her back. Another whimper escaped her mouth due to the pain, but he didn’t care. She never saw him this angry before.
“GIVE ME ONE GOOD REASON WHY I SHOULDN’T KILL YOUR LOVER?”, Zayden roared at her. Grace wanted to save her ears from his roaring sound but she couldn’t. She wanted to tell him the truth but couldn’t gather the strength to speak in front of him when he looked damn too angry.
“Y.you are h.hurting me!”, She whimpered.
“AND WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING? DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA, HOW MUCH IT HURTS ME TO SEE YOU IN THE ARMS OF ANOTHER MAN WHO IS NOT ME? IT HURTS LIKE HELL!”, He roared. She couldn't say anything. Her lips trembled in fear. She just waited for a blow to come. But a part of her knew that he wouldn’t hit her.
“WHY DID YOU LIE, TELL ME?”, He asked. She looked at him in confusion and furrowed her eyebrow. What was he asking exactly!
“About wh.what?”
“WHY DID YOU LIE WHEN I HAD ASKED YOU ABOUT YOUR BOYFRIEND? ONE THING THAT I HATE THE MOST AND YOU HAD KEPT SPEAKING LIES ALL THE TIMES FROM THE MOMENT WE HAVE MET. NOW I GET IT WHY DON’T YOU LIKE THE CLOSENESS BETWEEN US? YOU BETTER LEAVE.”, Zayden announced. Grace gasped at his words. She wanted to leave here as soon as possible from this cage but not by taking this blame on herself.
“IF YOU LOVE SOMEONE ELSE THEN THERE IS NO WAY YOU CAN NEVER BE FAITHFUL TO YOUR HUSBAND. THEN, COME I WILL LEAVE YOU AT YOUR LOVER’S HOUSE.”
Grace shook her head in fear. Why did everybody think she always had an affair with that man even when they forced themselves on her. Earlier, her father assumed that she was having an affair with Zayden and now Zayden assumed that she was having a lover.
