No One’s POV

Grace again had the food which was ordered from the restaurant in the afternoon and now she was getting sick of it. It was not like the food was not tasty but she started missing the homemade food and thought to talk about it with Zayden.
“Do you remember we talked about avoiding eating food from outside?”, Grace asked when she saw him closing the laptop.
“Go on. What’s in your mind.”, Zayden said.
“I was thinking of cooking food for us. I mean...if you will allow it!”, He smiled and sat beside her, snaking his hand over her shoulder. She looked at him nervously.
“Remember, you have equal rights in this house? You don’t have to ask anything, sweetheart.”, He said, encouraging her to speak in front of him without getting nervous. “By the way, can you teach me to cook?”
“Sure. Why not! Nowadays everyone should know how to cook. It’s strange that you don’t”, She said nervously.
He pouted. He came close to her and whispered. “I will learn if you will teach me! And in return, I will teach you something more interesting!”, He said, nuzzling against her neck.
“O.okay!”, She said, trying her best not to blush.
Zayden started licking her neck checking the place where she would bear his mark. He was having a hard time controlling himself from marking her but then he also knew that she was not reading for it. As for now, he was glad that she didn’t push him away.
When she felt it was too long for the licking thing which he was doing like a dog, she interrupted his desirable moment.
“I..I think we should check all the groceries which are in the home and then make a list to buy all things which are required in our home.”, She said. Zayden didn’t miss to observe when she said ‘OUR’ home. He smiled and nodded.
“In the evening?”, He asked.
“Okay.”, She replied and prayed that he would stop his torture. This time, she felt a slight pain on her neck as if he had bitten her, leaving a hickey over her neck.
When Zayden looked at what he just did, he felt proud of his work, he would have left a few more hickey when exactly at that moment, the doorbell rang and she abruptly stood up.
“I will get it.”, She said to run away from there. Zayden smiled to see her blush. Grace was about to leave their room but, in the midway, she remembered about the security system. She turned around to tell him that he should open the door because she didn’t know the PIN.
“47112”, Zayden said.
“What?”, She asked, not understanding his reply.
“The PIN is 47112. Go on! Open the door.”. He said smilingly. Grace gaped at him for a few seconds. Did he just tell her the PIN? Last time he had told her that he would tell her the number when she would gain his trust.
‘Does that mean, he trusts me or let me rephrase it, Do I gain his trust?’, Her eyes widened in surprise when she figured out the answer to her question. The bell rang again. This time she didn’t waste time and ran downstairs to open the door. She entered the PIN and after hearing the click sound, she opened the door and found Theo standing on the door. She had seen him around the house once so she figured him out as one of Zayden's men.
She was about to ask him the reason for his visit but before she could have done that, he handed over a pen drive to Grace and she took it.
“Thank you.”, She said and gave a small smile to that man as a friendly gesture. His eyes widened with shock. It was the first time he received a warm gesture from someone, in a long time. He couldn’t help but pray to the Moon goddess to send a mate who would like her, in his life, because he knew the lady standing in front of her was chosen by his Alpha.
Since Zayden couldn’t mark Grace without her permission, he had left his scent on her so that no other wolf would ever think of claiming what was his!
Theo was about to smile back when he saw Zayden coming downstairs and scurried away as soon as possible before mumbling, “Nice to meet you, Luna!”
Grace wondered why he called her Luna when her name is GRACE. She closed the door and turned around only to find Zayden behind her.
“Here. I think this is for you.”, She said, giving the Pendrive to him and then walked toward the kitchen to check the groceries so that she could make the list accordingly. She could feel Zayden’s eyes on her, all the time.
‘When is he going to stop this staring thing! He used to do the same before as well and now that I am his wife, he doesn’t stop staring at me.’, She thought.
Once, she made the list, she saw Zayden doing something over the laptop and the pen drive was connected to it, which she had handed over to him.
‘Should I disturb him? He seems busy.’, She thought.
“Ummm...Zayden”!”, She whispered his name from the kitchen. He quickly closed the laptop and jumped from his seat and approached the kitchen.
“Yes, sweetheart!”, He asked.
“I have prepared the list. If you can manage then can we go to the market now instead of evening?”, She asked softly.
“Anything you say, sweetheart! Well, I think this is the best idea. In this wway, I can plan something for you in the evening.”
“What plans?”
“You will get to know.”, He winked on which she pouted a little. By god grace, he didn’t see it, or else she would have been in big trouble after teasing the best. Suddenly, she recalled that Zayden was doing some work on his laptop, what if he was busy and she was nagging him about these things.
“If you are busy, then I can go to the market alone. You don’t have to come with me.”, She suggested.
Zayden eyed her suspiciously.
‘Is she still planning to leave me? But she won’t, right! Not after what happened in the morning. But what if she was lying at that time. No, I should not think this nonsense. I told myself and her that I will trust her.’, He thought.
“Are you not comfortable around others, having me by your side.?”, He asked indirectly. Grace narrowed her eyes at him and gave him a ‘WHAT’ look. She never gave a damn what others would think or what society would think. She was sure that by that time, the whole town would have known about her marriage with Zayden. She would probably be the sensational gossip of the people nowadays. But whatever happened was not in her control. She couldn’t change the fact that she was the wife of a criminal and she didn’t have any other choice rather than to accept this truth.
“Obviously not! I saw you working on the laptop before so I thought you were busy. So, I don’t want to disturb you.”, She said, clearing his doubts.
“If that's the case then don’t worry about my work. Eric, my beta, will handle that work. Now get ready, we will leave now.”
“Okay!”
