I went to check on Sana or say our Luna, on the order of Alpha. I still didn't understand why Alex put such a condition in front of her when he knew that she was already facing turmoil.
Well, I hope that Sana agrees to come to the Luna ceremony, otherwise, she will make the second biggest mistake of her life... The first one is that she agreed to marry that bastard Richard.
I hate her but knowing what she faced was enough to melt anyone's heart and I smell her emotions for Alex. She loved me, it's just that she is not accepting her feelings.
I knocked on the door after reaching her room but she didn't reply. I again knocked on the door feeling apprehensive. That's when my eyes went to a beautician who came to help Sana to get ready. She came towards me and bowed her head in respect.
"Why are you standing outside? I send you to help Luna to get ready?" I asked in an authoritative tone.
"She told me that she didn't want to attend the Luna ceremony and she sent me outside," She said, bowing her head. I ignored her and again knocked on the door when she didn't get any reply.. I got anxious and horrified. I break the door using my power and then indicate to the girl to look inside the room.
She nodded and peeped her head.
"I can't see her" She mumbled and went inside. I too followed her and that's when I sensed her presence and heard the sound of water. I sighed in relief, sensing that she was in the washroom.
"Thanks to the moon goddess, she is alright. I got scared that what if Alex's feeling got true" I thought and mindlink the girl to call Sana.
"Luna, are you there?" she asked.
"Who?" Luna asked from inside the washroom.
"It's me, beautician who came to help you in getting ready"
"How many times do I have to say, I'm not attaining any Luna ceremony. Just get out of my room." Luna yelled. I tightened my fist to control the urge to shout at her for taking such a rubbish decision. Don't know why I had a soft corner for her.
No, not a one-sided love type corner but like she is like my sister. I felt happy when I see the smile on her face and at the same time, I felt rage to shout at her when she always takes such stupid decisions in emotions.
I sighed and went to Alex in the auditorium. He looked at me and then behind my back in anticipation that Sana might have come.
"She will not come," I said and his eyes filled with tears but he controlled his emotion and gave me a weak smile.
"It's my fault... I shouldn't have forced her that's why she made this decision or maybe she didn't want this relationship with me" he said and I can feel his emotion of pain and brokenness. I sighed and hugged him as a friend.
"She didn't come Max" he muttered and then broke the hug. He wiped the tear from the corner of his eyes.
"Now what Alpha? what will we answer everyone?`` I asked.
"Say whatever you want to. I'm not feeling like standing here anymore" He muttered and then went to the bar side. My eyes widened when he grabbed the glass of alcohol.
This is the first time I'm seeing him drinking after coming back home. Yes, we both used to drink earlier but when Alex's father caught us... he stopped talking to us and then Alex and I promised him, not to drink ever that's when he explained the reason behind to stop us from drinking as alcohol burns many family happiness and after hearing his explanation we both are determined not to drink ever.
But today Alex was drinking again. He drank the whole glass in one go and then he took another one. He was about to take a third shot but I immediately went to him. I snatched a glass from his hand, knowing that he can't even handle one pack and here he had already drunk two...
"Have you gone mad? what are you doing?`` I hissed.
"why she don't trust me? Why didn't she come, Max? why?" he yelled.
"Alex calm down" I muttered and looked around... everyone's eyes were on us. They must have heard our conversation clearly as they all are werewolves.
"Attention everyone" we all heard the voice of Irene and looked towards the stage. She was standing there holding Stefan hand in hand. I looked at her and then Alex to see his reaction but he was zoned out because of the effect of alcohol. I took a relief breath because I know Alex would have been in his senses then till now he would have smacked Stefan's face for holding Irene's hand or even standing near her.
"As everyone knows that we are here for the Luna Ceremony." She look at me and then Alex who opened his eyes hearing Irene words
"Please handle him, Max" Irene mind linked me. I look at her confusingly, not understanding what she means.
"But there is a big confusion in everyone's mind. Today is the Luna ceremony but Alex is not announcing his Luna. It was Stefan and I who were marking each other" Irene announced, widening my eyes. I look at Stefan whose reaction is no different which indicates to me that is all Irene's plan.
My eyes went to Alex who is throwing a dagger at Stefan like he will eat him alive.
"Alex, please don't create drama over here. We'll talk about this later with Irene" I whispered in his ear as slowly as I could.
"She has gone mad" He yelled and took another shot before I could stop him.
"I'm so sorry that we took so much time but Stefan is not ready to mark me today but I wanted him to mark me... Mark me as his" Irene announced looking into the eyes of Stefan and like everyone, I could feel the truth in his words. She actually wants Stefan to mark her.
"Irene" Stefan mumbled, not knowing what to say further.
"Marked me Stefan"

That's it... Stefan's wolf took control and marked her even before Stefan could deny it and prove that even the Alpha wolf behaved like a puppy in front of the Mate. She whimpered a little in pain but then a smile broke on her lips.
I look towards Alex who is furious at Irene but somehow controls his anger in front of people. My eyes went on the glass in his hand reminding me that he was another example of a lost puppy in love. Everyone started howling in happiness and I turned my face toward the stage. Irene wolf marked Stefan.
I sighed knowing that when Alex would gain his consciousness then a huge storm was going to come. Everyone gets busy congratulating Irene and Stefan and this is the best time when I can take Alex out of this room. I turned towards Alex and to my worst he was not there.
I turned towards the stage and he was not there. I started searching for him everywhere, especially in the crowd.
"Fuck... I can't even detect his smell in the crowd ``I mumbled to myself and started looking everywhere for him.

A lady was sitting in her room looking at the picture of Sana and laughing like a maniac.
"Soon your story is going to end Sana... Because of me you didn't attain the Luna ceremony and now I can't wait to see Alex's reaction. what will he do in anger as according to him you disrespected him" She laughed and drank the sip from the wine glass in her hand. "No Alpha can take such disrespect from there Luna. he will not only break the mate bond, but also throw you out of his house and then I will catch you and tear you apart in two pieces. Ohh, God, I was waiting for this moment for so long" she laughed and then tore the photo of Sana into two pieces.
