I was sitting on the bed, thinking about whatever happened in the last few hours. Tears were continuously falling from my eyes. I threw the pillow on the ground and then I started throwing the remaining thing which is coming in my hand to let out my anger and frustration.
"How could he? How dare he?" I yelled and threw the vase that was kept on the bedside on the floor in anger. His words roamed in my mind.
"I know you don't want to attain this Luna ceremony and I can understand your feeling that you need time but everyone outside wants to harm you, as you were Richard's wife but I want to tell them that you're my mate... my life partner, and if anyone thinks to harm even a single hair of your head then I will burn that person alive,"
"I will not force you, Sana... I'm just asking for a chance... I want you to give a chance to our relationship Sana or say please give a chance to me, to win your heart. To love you the way that no one can do. To fill your life with love and happiness... Please give me a chance"

I stood up and started throwing everything which was coming into my mind. I was screaming because of the pain of his betrayal. I never wanted this relationship because I knew he would betray me and he did as I think about him. He did the same as Richard did to me.
At first, he won my trust and then broke it into many tiny pieces, acting sweet, and then he broke my trust, marked someone else, got drunk, and most importantly he raised his hand to me. I started breathing heavily remembering that moment.
My legs were shaking, resulting in me falling to the ground. I was crying bitterly at my faith and only one question was roaming in my mind: Why was I even born in this world?
The moment when Alex marked someone else, I felt like someone took out life from me. I just want to die, not wanting to leave in this cruel world. I was thinking all this when my eyes went to the broken pieces of the vase. I pick one of the pieces in my hand and place it on my wrist. Only Alex's betrayal and behaviour were roaming in my mind. I was about to make a deep cut when someone held my hand. I flinched and looked at my side, Irene was standing there.
"Have you fucking lost your mind? what the fuck you're doing" She yelled and snatched the broken piece of the vase from me and throw it somewhere. Tears brimmed in my eyes but I quickly wiped them off. Irene sighed and sat beside me.
"You were happy when I saw you last time Sana then what happened girl? what happened that you were about to take your life" She asked shockingly. I looked at her and then turned my face to the other side.
"What happened, Sana?" She asked me again.
"why don't you ask this question from your brother?" I scoffed. she looked at me confusingly and then sighed.
"Wait... let me bring water for you"
"I don't want it" I scrawled. She didn't say anything, just sat beside me. Tears were continuously falling from my eyes.
"Why did your brother do this to me? why?"
"Why do you always react before understanding and seeing the truth, Sana?" She mumbled. I look at her.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"I will tell you but first you answer me, why are you crying? you're the one who chooses to not come to the Luna ceremony. If anyone should be blamed here is you"
"You're his sister, why would he be wrong for you? You will take his side only" I scoffed.
"But I'm no one to him" I heard Max's voice. I turn my head and look towards the door. Max was standing there.
"Ohh really? saying the one who is always ready to despise me for his Alpha" I mocked and stood up with the support of the bed.
"Aah," I flinched in pain when my foot touched the floor. I look at my foot and then at Irene. "Your brother gives me so much pain that I even forget about my foot injury," I said and wiped my tears.
"How did this happen?" She asked, holding my hand and making me sit on the bed.
"That's not important," I mumbled and looked at my right-hand injury caused by taking out glass pieces from my foot.
"Max, go and check where the pack doctor is. why she hadn't come yet" Irene said looking at Max. he nodded his head and left from there.
"Sana, he has gone. Now, tell me what happened?"
"Nothing… Nothing has happened and nothing can happen now." I said and looked at Irene.
"Why are you saying all this? Please tell me, what upsets you so much? Did my brother do something" she asked. I didn't answer.
"You were the one who didn't come to the luna ceremony, leaving my brother to face embarrassment and now you're blaming him for something" She scoffed.
"Wow" I looked at her astonishingly and started clapping. She rolled her eyes annoyingly.
"I'm stupid who thought that you will understand my emotion as a girl? I try to find a shoulder to cry on. But you are not here to listen to my pain or empathy with me but to take your brother's side and mock me"
"It's not like that, Sana," She said.
"It is like that," I yelled and covered my face with my hand.
"You're getting it wrong. You're not telling me what has happened and you're crying this much, just keep blaming my brother. Than what you expect from a sister to take your side" She frowned.
"You know what? I don't want to get anything or listen to you and your brother anymore."
"Sana" she called my name with little emphasis indicating to me that my words and actions made her furious.
"leave me alone before I lose control over my anger and say something harshly to you"
"Yeah right, I should leave you alone because you deserve to be alone" She scoffed and left the room in a rage. Her words directly pierce into my heart, making me realise that I'm alone. I don't have anyone.
I wiped my tears and tightened my right-hand fist to cause more pain to myself. This pain is giving me relief, making me forget or say escape from reality. I opened my fist when the pain became unbearable for me. I look at my hand and that's when I remember the moment when Alex kisses my palm lovingly. Again tears rolled from my eyes.
I started remembering every moment I spent with him but everything seemed to be fake from the moment he raised his hand to me. For many people, it was just a heat of a moment as if they knew once the hand is raised then it will never go down. I wiped my tears and took a deep breath.
"When he mark's someone else then what is the point of living here? why am I here when there is no place for me" I thought and took a deep breath, preparing myself to take the biggest and toughest decision of my life.
