I went to the stage near Irene, Max was coming towards me but I glared at him, indicating him not to interrupt us. He bowed his head.
"Why did you take this decision and come on stage out of the blue." I frowned. She held my hand.
"Brother, thank you so much for arranging this ceremony for both of us," she said. I raised my eyebrow, she brought me to the center.
"Here in front of everyone, I wanted to thank you brother for giving this idea to us for marking each other in our pack. so that in this way, we can celebrate two things together, First that you took our revenge from that bastard Richard and concurred our pack, and second me and Stefan finally become one" she said and look at everyone, indirectly making me realise that we are surrounding with many werewolves who can listen to our small conversations.
"Congratulations Alex", one of the Alpha congratulated me. I murmured thank you. My head started spinning because of the alcohol that I consumed out of anger. I couldn't even recognize anyone who was congratulating me, Irene and Stefan.
I turned my face towards Irene and that's when my eyes went to the door. I was feeling dizzy, not able to locate anything but I felt like I saw her... I saw my queen sitting there. I was about to go near but someone came in front of me, congratulating me. I whispered thank you to him and was about to cross him but I don't know why one by one everyone was coming in front of me.
After a while, I again looked towards the door, Sana was not there and a question arose in my mind, was she there, or was it my imagination? It must be my imagination, if she wanted to come then she would have come with Max. This alcohol drives me insane.
My eyes went on Irene, I held her hand and took her to the side room where there was no one except her and me. Stefan and Max too followed us.
"Alex, you're not in your senses" Max warned me before speaking anything that caused trouble to me.
"I know that" I screeched.
"Sorry Alpha" he replied politely. I turn my face and look at Irene who held Stefan's hand because of nervousness.
"Alex" Stefan was about to utter something but I stopped him by showing my hand.
"Irene" I called her. She looked at me with fearful eyes.
"Please brother don't get angry"
"Then you only tell me, what should I do? You took such an important decision in your life in such an impulsive manner" I growled. Tears fell from her eyes. she always starts crying whenever I raise my voice at her even a little. I sighed and wiped her tears with my thumb.
"It wasn't an impulsive decision. I love him. That's why I announced that we want to mark each other and if it was a lie then any wolf could have smelt my lie and emotions. Asked Max even though he must have felt that I wasn't lying"
I looked at Max, he nodded his head in agreement. I again look at Irene.
"Fine if you take this decision with your choice then leave the pack tomorrow with your Mate" I scoffed. She looked at me, widening her eyes, not able to believe that I said those harsh words to her.
"You heard me right Irene. You can stay here but tomorrow you have to leave this pack with your mate" I said.
"Alpha" Max was about to say something but I bit him.
"make the arrangements for their departure and also asked some maid to help Irene in packing all her belongings," I said and left from there. Irene started crying hearing my words. She hugged Stefan and hid her face in his chest. I looked at her and wiped tears from the corner of my eyes and left from there. If I stay a minute more here, then I will end up being soft to her and won't let her go anywhere, not even with Stefan.
I came out of the auditorium having terrible headaches because of alcohol and not only was I feeling dizzy but above everything, I was excruciating that my Mate didn't come. I waited for her not only for the Luna ceremony but also for giving me another chance to our relationship, to our bond, to our unsaid love. But she didn't come.
Max came to me holding a lemonade in one hand. I took it from him and gulped it one go.
"My hand is spinning" I mumbled
"So what do you expect after having three packs?" he scoffed. I rolled my eyes. when it comes to me, he can get against me only and that's the reason he is like my brother from another mother.
"Why didn't she come, Max? why?" I asked, looking at him.
"Clam down, I can sense what you're feeling but you have to calm yourself. You give her two options and she chooses not to give you a chance and now you have to make up for her actions. You have to do something that would bring your relationship on track" he said.
"No… Now nothing can happen. She didn't want me. She didn't want to give me or this relationship a chance and when there is no hope then I don't want her to be stuck with me. I want her to live her life to the fullest"
"Stop speaking rubbish Alex" He frowned. "She is your mate and she loves you. I can sense it. Anyone who looks at her can say the same thing that she loves you. You're not in your sense that's why you're uttering all this shit. you wait here I will arrange a room for you. Don't go anywhere until I come. I don't want you to meet anyone until you come into your sense" he said and left to make arrangements.
I was not in my senses but still, my mind kept revolving around Sana and the fact that she didn't come. I couldn't hold myself and went straight to our room to get my answer.
"Why didn't she come? why?"

I stopped at the door and looked in my room in search of her... she was nowhere. For a second, I panicked but then I heard the sound of water coming from the washroom. I took a relief breath and wiped tears from the corner of my eyes.
I was standing at the door trying to prepare myself to face her and talk to her calmly and ask my question. I was trying my best to calm myself, not to break down in front of him and act maniac in front of her. I kept repeating one thing in my mind: not to shout at her or show any anger. I have to be calm for her.
For a second I dropped the idea of talking to her, remembering the words of Max that I'm not in my senses but then I heard the voice of knob and she came out of the washroom.
Her eyes widened when she saw me. We kept staring at each other and I don't know why I felt like she was in the same pain as I'm. We kept looking into each other, Feeling each other's pain, drowning in the pain of love.
