"When he marked someone else then what is the point of living here? why am I here when there is no place for me" I thought and stood up from bed but my legs wobbled because of a foot injury. I again sat on the bed and looked at my foot from which blood was still oozing out. I closed my eyes feeling a little dizzy maybe because of too much blood loss. That's when I heard a knock on the door. I opened my eyes and saw Max standing there with a lady. That lady smiled looking at me and then bowed her head in respect. She came to me with a first aid kit.
"I'm Lina, pack doctor. I'm here to serve you, Luna." She said, I was about to lash out at her for calling me Luna but I was feeling too dizzy to even do that. I lay down in bed and soon darkness consumed me.

My sleep broke up with the sun's rays falling on my face. I try to move to the other side to hide my face in the pillow but something prohibits me. I opened my eyes and looked at the barrier only to find a hand caving me. I breathe heavily knowing the owner of this hand. I look at my side, finding Alex sleeping beside me.
A lone tear rolled from my eyes finding him close to me. I hide my face in his chest, his scent feels my nostril giving me chill and peace. I close my eyes. I was missing him terribly. I don't know what connection this is but I always want him near me. I find relief in his arms.
He is like a medicine for my pain despite the pain he gives me. I was lost in thoughts that's when I felt a hand caressing my hair. I opened my eyes and looked at him. He was looking at me with teary eyes. I could feel that he was in the same pain just like me.
"When did you come?" I asked, looking into his eyes.
"My sleep broke up early in the morning. I tried to sleep again but I couldn't. Now I'm addicted to you. I can't even sleep without having you in my arms." He said with a smile. "You're my reason to breath, Sana"
His words were enough for me to again break down into tears in his arms. I let out all my pain in his arms. After a while, he parted me away from him and kissed my forehead. I wiped tears from the corner of his eyes.
"I'm sorry" he whispered and embraced me tightly in his arms.
"I never wanted to raise my hand on you. I never think of doing something shit like that. It was all because of alcohol. Don't think that I'm giving an excuse. I made a huge mistake and I'm ready for my punishment. I will accept whatever punishment you will give" He muttered and wiped my tears. "Please don't cry. Not for an asshole like me"
I didn't reply to him and sat upright and took a deep breath.
"Why Alex? Why did you do this to me? I was" Before I could tell him that I was coming to the luna ceremony, we heard the knock on the door. I wiped my tears and was about to stand up from bed but he held my hand.
"Whoever is at the door can wait for a while. You say what you were saying"
"I just want to answer Alex. why?"
"It shouldn't be my question Sana? Why didn't you come? I know that you were not ready but don't I deserve a chance." He said.
"Yes... You don't deserve a chance" I yelled and stood up from the bed. "A person who can't wait for his wife a little more doesn't deserve a chance. I know that I delayed but that doesn't mean you can do something like this at our luna ceremony"
"I didn't get Sana. what you're saying" He scrunched his eyebrow in confusion. I laughed and rolled my eyes.
"Wow... you have not even realised what you did" I scoffed. He didn't say anything, just staring at the bed sheet seems to be like he was thinking something then he looked at me.
"Now, I understand why you're saying that. I'm so sorry Sana but it decided all of sudden. Irene announced that she will" He clamped up when we again heard knocking on the door.
"Who the fuck knocking on the door" he yelled. I flinched and moved back.
"Shit... why did I always end up scaring her? I have to keep in my mind not to shout in front of her" he whispered to himself slowly. So slow that If I wasn't standing near him then I might not be able to hear him.
"Sana, I'm sorry. I was saying that it was unplanned, Irene" he again got interrupted by the knock on the door. He fumed and went towards the door, opening it harshly. He was about to lash out at that person but didn't, finding Irene standing at the door.
"Why were you not opening the door?" She frowned. he rolled his eyes and look at Irene with a frown
"You should understand that if the person is not opening the door then he or she must be busy with something"
"And if that person is your big brother then you should keep knocking on the door until he opens the door for you to annoy him" she showed him, her tongue then started laughing seeing Alex's annoying face. A smile came to my face seeing their bond but it reminds me of my relationship with my brother which is the exact opposite of it.
Irene pushed Alex's side and came inside. she looked at me and then sighed.
"After last night's fight, I was mad at you but Stefan made me realise that I should have talked to you calmly," She said and tightened her lips, maybe she was trying to find words to apologise.
"What happened last night?" Alex asked. Irene looked at him with fearful eyes.
"Nothing... We had a little argument but we are ok now" I said. she looked at me surprisingly then turned her face towards Alex.
"Don't you think you should apologise to me?" She asked Alex with teary eyes. He bowed his eyes but didn't say anything.
"He doesn't know how to apologise" I scoffed.
"But he always does anything out of his boundary for you Sana," Irene said looking at Alex with a sad smile. He still didn't answer her. His eyes went on me. We had an eye lock but then I turned my face to the other side.
"Alex, I want to talk to your mate for a while," She said. Before Alex could have said something, she beat him. "Stefan is waiting for you outside. I hope as a brother you also wanted to say something to him" She said confusing me.
Alex left the room while closing the door. Irene turned her head towards me and that's when my eyes went to her neck, there was a mark. She got marked by someone.
"You got marked" I exclaim.
"Yes, Stefan marked me," She said with a sly smile.
"What? Stefan? when and how?" I asked shockingly. Alex was so furious at Stefan then how he let him mark her and Irene also hated him then how this miracle had happened.
