Eric's POV
"Eric, your mom's health is not good! She fell unconscious! Please come back!" Hearing Dad's worried voice, I felt tense. As this is still early morning. I checked on my watch to see it was 5 am.
"Yes, Dad! I'm coming! Don't worry, mom will be fine!" I spoke out in a hurry as I started the car engine to go back to dad's mansion.
As my car turned, I disconnected the call and looked at Angela's room window for a glance, before speeding up to go back.
"Dad!" As soon as I entered the house, I saw my dad standing with the doctor.
"Eric…" Dad and the doctor turned to me.
"Your mom is…" My dad could not complete his words. I felt sad to see him like this. He never looks this broken after Erish's accident.
I turned to look at the doctor, as dad is not in the right mind to speak right now.
"Hello, doctor…"
"How is my mom?" I asked the doctor directly. As I touched my dad's shoulder with concern.
The doctor looked at me and continued his words," Your mother is fine for now…But she has heart disease…"
"What?" I feel shocked.
"I know it's shocking for you and your family but it's normal at this age. I think she was under so much stress to get unconscious at last."
My lips pressed tightly to hear this. As me and my dad knew what made her stressed.
"Doctor, is she in danger in any way?" I asked with a heavy voice.
"No...not for now! But you and your father need to take care of her completely…"
"She can't take so much stress or her heart disease could be worse…"
My hands clenched as the hard time started taking place in our life.
"I already gave some prescriptions to your dad, please go according to that and try to make her get more comfortable and happy…"
"Besides that, she needs lots of rest, and let her go outside in the early morning to take a fresh breath and do some walking!"
"With this routine, your mother will be fine!" The doctor explained everything while I nodded to take a note of everything in my mind.
"Thank you, doctor, we will take care of mom…" I responded while the Doctor nodded.
"Now, it's time for me to leave!" The doctor gave us a small smile before we nodded and he left the house.
"Son, your Mom is so stressed after Angela left us last conversation. She can't even sleep peacefully...she was regretting hiding the truth from Angela…"
"Dad, don't worry! Mom will be fine…" I tried to give him a small smile with a heavy heart.
"Son, did you talk to Angela?" Dad suddenly asked with hopeful eyes as I could not help but feel helpless, because I couldn't ever see her in these two days.
"No Dad, she's still not ready to see me!" Dad sighed with sorrow and nodded with a lightheaded smile.
"Don't worry…She will listen to you after she's not too angry and ready to talk...I know her, she's a good heart child!" Dad's words made me encouraged to believe in myself and are ready to get that chance but when and how? I don't know.
"Let's eat something now, I know you don't eat anything these days…" Dad's words made me realize how I forget about everything and just stay outside of Angela's house these days.
"Alright, dad…" I nodded, as dad asked one of the servants to cook something for us and for mother some light food.
As soon as we had breakfast, one of the maids told us that mom was already awake, and to hear that we both hurriedly went to the bedroom to meet her.
"Mom!!" As soon as I stood at the door with dad, I saw her weakly looking in our direction and I felt sorry for her.
In just two days, she's looking too thin and sorrowful.
"Eric…" she forwarded her hand to me, as I immediately walked toward her and held her palm between me, sitting beside her on the bed.
Dad came towards the other side and stood silently.
"Mom, you should not take so much stress! I will take care of everything...Don't think about anything…"
I tried to explain to her as she lightly smile and nodded.
"I know son...you will take care of everything, but still I can't stop myself from worrying about all my three children…"
Hearing her, my tears came out as I couldn't help but hug her.
Mom wrapped her arms and patted my back.
"Mom, I promise, your all three children are going to be happy...so, please take care of yourself or I could not help but worry about you all the time… and don't forget we all need you right now…" my voice almost halted.
"Sorry son...I'll remember that…" Mom got into tears while responding and I finally get back to my seat releasing the hug. I wiped her tears and smiled lightly.
"Now you should take a rest… and don't need to walk on for now!" Mom didn't argue with me and nodded, as I can feel, she truly aged now.
After making her lie on the bed, I covered her with a blanket. While she finally closed her eyes again.
Dad and I left the bedroom silently.
"Son, you should be strong...I know this is a hard time…"
"Yes, Dad, I need to be…if I want to make everything right!" I responded feeling the same.
Many Life is struggling because of one lie. Now I need to do everything to turn everything back to the right place with myself and for that, I'm going to do everything.
I need to talk to Angela...Damn, she is the only one who can make everything alright… but how, she's still not ready to see me, hear me…
I felt like a coward who can't do anything for himself or his family.
"Son, are you going to stay today…" Dad suddenly asked and I was ready to answer him back that I need to go back but before that my phone suddenly rang with a beep sound and I looked at the screen almost feeling stunned for a moment.
The screen showed Angela's name, which made me halt in my position.
There was a message from her.
And I immediately opened it to read out hurriedly.
"We need to talk. Let's meet outside my house."
My lips curled up as my eyes shone with hope which I was almost trying to get.
"What happened, Son?" My dad touched my shoulder with curious eyes, as he watched me smile brightly while staring at my phone screen.
I looked at my dad and responded with joy," Dad, Angela finally wanted to talk to me. She finally wanted to meet me. I just got a text from her…"
My eyes filled with joy as my voice turned happy.
"What?"
"It's great! It's good news son! Finally, she's ready to listen to your side! You should go better now...don't miss this chance son…" Dad gave a warm smile.
"Yes, Dad! I'll remember! You take care of yourself and mom...I'll come back to check both of you again!" Dad nodded to me with a happy smile.
"Yeah! Now go…" I nodded to dad and immediately left the house to go back to Brown's house.
I'm coming, Angela! Please wait for me! I whispered as soon as I got in the car back.
