"You can think whatever you want! But you need to first finish your dinner in front of my eyes…" Eric declared calmly while his face didn't show any emotion in this phase. And the next moment, he put the tray on the table.
Angela thinks he is sick from the mind. As she replied.
"It's not going to happen…Eric!"
"I'll eat only when you let me leave this place!" Her eyes filled with determination while Eric raised his brows with a cold smirk.
"Do you think so? You are on stage to negotiate with me?" His words are full of power as he takes a few steps toward her.
Angela's face frowned to hear him. As she asked with anger, "What do you mean?"
"Did you forget? If you take steps outside of this mansion, even from this bedroom. I'll fire all the staff and servants!"
"No! You can't do that!" Angela immediately shouted while her hand turned into a fist.
"Try me! I'll let you see if I can do it or not…"
His warning made her body shudder while her eyes filled with hatred towards him.
"You are horrible! Eric!" She stated.
"I can be more horrible Angela, trust me! So, if you don't want any staff to suffer my anger because of you… just stay here and finish your dinner now, in front of my eyes…"
Angela's heart tightened while her tears came out the next moment but before they could go down more than her cheeks, she wiped them out with her fingers.
Eric watched her action and felt sinful. While he couldn't stand to see her like this. But if he showed his gentle side, Angela will leave her which he is not ready to accept.
"I'll eat…" Only this sentence could come out of her hurting voice. While Eric got brave enough to not let himself get affected by it.
Angela moved toward on bed while sitting on it and trapped the dinner plate from the table before using the spoon to dig it into the food and start eating it while showing up to Eric with cold stares.
Eric watched her angry action and went in a different direction to sit on the couch and looked at her with a calm gaze.
Angela angrily finished all the food in a fast motion while Eric's eyes were always on her face until she ate the last portion of her food and put down the plate on the tray.
She drinks the full glass of water and also puts it back and wipes her lips with backward hands. Before she speaks out roughly," Is it enough?"
Her eyes locked with him with red eyes while he looked at her for a long moment with big silence before he finally nodded his head to her and stood up from the couch, leaving the bedroom in silence without looking at the back. Closing the door behind him.
Angela fell to her knees while her eyes started tearing with pain.
Her sobbing was getting hard, and Eric could hear it all by standing behind the door.
He stood there for a long time before finally leaving her alone and going toward the bar.

"Doctor, is my son alright?" Mr.Brook looked at the doctor with worried eyes. While he hoped not to hear something worse.
"Mr.Brooks, don't be so panicked! He is completely fine! More importantly, his health report is good. If I may say, it's much better than from the last month…and what you see today is not an illusion! "Doctor's words made him joyous while he continued with his nervous voice, "It...It...m-means Doctor, Did...did he truly..." Mr. Brooks's voice turned emotional while his eyes blurred with tears. Before he could finish his words the doctor answered him with a big smile and nodded at the same.
"Yes, you are thinking right Mr.Brooks, your son truly moved his finger… it's not your illusion, it's true and you saw right!!" The doctor gladly informed him.
"Oh my God!" Mr.Brooks could not help but feel too happy at this moment, while his eyes filled with joyful tears.
How much he waited to hear that and now when Erish finally showing signs to wake up. How could he not cry? How could he not feel so happy and thanked God to show positive things finally for his son?
"Doctor, Is he truly near to waking up again? My son...My son...is truly...going to be normal? Am I not dreaming?" Mr.Brooks consulted with an eager look as he first wanted to be sure that whatever he heard it's right. It's true. It's not a dream. He is not dreaming about it. It is actually happening with him.
When after dinner, he went to check on his son, and he felt his finger move. Yes, it shocked him at first but a few moments later, he saw that happen again, and finally, to confirm what was happening to his son, he called a doctor to come home fast and check on him. But he never thinks it's truly going to be amazing news for them. After so many troubles and sorrows, finally the first happy news they got.
"Yes, it's true, Mr.Brooks! Your son could be healed now, as he started to respond, and show body movement!" The doctor explained while Mr.Brooks held his hand and thanked him next moment," Thank you, doctor, thank you so much! You don't know how much we wanted to hear something good for our son's condition."
The doctor smiled and nodded while he continued with a small smile on his face," I can understand your feeling Mr.Brooks, I also have a son of Erish age… Don't worry he will be fine with you and your wife prays…"
Mr.Brooks smiled and nodded.
"But you need to be more patient from now on and need to take care of your son more. As it is still not close to being sure when he will be fully awake!" The doctor's words turned serious but it didn't discourage Mr.Brooks, as he believes his son will wake up soon. This is his and his wife's hope.
Their love will bring him back.
"I understood your words completely, doctor! But what could I do, as a father, seeing my son lying on the bed like a dead person, bringing me feel more like my death bed. But now hearing this news, at least there is now hope, there is the clear chance of him waking up as his healing percentage is turning high…"
The doctor nodded with a satisfied smile.
"Yes, that's right…"
When they were busy in conversation. Suddenly, another voice caught their attention.
"What? M-My son is healing?"
Mrs.Brooks' shocking voice made the doctor and Mr.brooks look in her direction, while she was standing in front of the door in chaos.
"Honey!" Mr.Brook went to her side with a big smile. As he wanted to share the big news with his wife. There is not one day gone by when they both did not cry for Erish but now they have hope, they hope to see their son again beside them with a happy face.
Mrs.Brooks comes to stimulate her husband's direction from the other side.
"H-Honey, did I just hear r-right?" She held her husband's hand tightly while her eyes turned red with tears. Her voice was completely shaking with astonishment.
"Yes! You heard right! Our son is doing well and today he moved his finger which is a good sign for him to wake up!" Mr. Brooks's words made her smile while tears poured non-stop from her eyes.
"Oh, my poor son! Finally...Finally, he will be fine and be with us…" Mrs.Brooks spoke with a broken voice while Mr.Brooks nodded and took her between his arms to let them cry together with joy.
"Yes, honey! He will wake up…we will do everything to get him back…" Mr. Brooks's words made his wife more emotional while tears streamed down non-stop.
The doctor smiled and felt touched to see the parent's joyful faces.
