"What do you mean?" I asked, my voice barely audible as he reached to switch on the lamp next to him.
"I don't like to repeat myself." He mumbled, as he Sat on the bed. I was struck in my place when he asked me to sit down next to him.
"I don't want to sleep here, shall I go to my room? " I asked as I refuse to move anywhere near him. He stood up from his position, his eyes shooting a million daggers at me, causing goosebumps to rise all over my body. "Please? " I asked softly as he stood in front of me, before shaking his head. Think of a good escape, Katarina.
"My night dress is in my room!" I blabbered out and he gave me a long look before raising a brow.
"I'll give you my t shirt." He said finally before going to his closet.
"What am I going to do?" I started panicking as I walked towards the bed biting my nails.
"Maybe nothing going to happen." I told myself," Here, wear this. " He give me a black t shirt he used to wear. I got it from him and went to the bathroom to change. His t shirt comes down to my thighs.So , I got myself covered decently. Still I am nervous about it. But what choice do I have besides hope for the best? It's not like he's going to change his mind or do as I say. After checking myself many times , I walked out and headed towards Alex's bed, my heart racing faster with every step I took. My eyes widened in disbelief as he was actually reading a book on the bed. He turned to look at me, then his gaze went back on the book. We're just going to sleep together tonight, nothing more right?
"Don't think much. Just lie down." He mumbled and I stared at him in silence before giving him a pleading look. I don't want to sleep next to him.
"It's not like I am going to rape you. You are making every damn thing hard!" he snapped, then grabbed my wrists and pulled me down . With a thud, I land right next to him and immediately turned my back towards him, my body trembling as I lay still not wanting to get him mad again.
"Good night,Rina." He muttered, turning off the lamp next to him and the darkness surrounded the room . I wonder why he even want to do this? He hate me and my presence.
"Alex" I choked out, suddenly remembering my mom . " Shall I speak with my mom? " I asked but he remain silent.
"Goodnight,Rina" He finally muttered, not even gave any thought to what I had said.
"Ok. Let's have a deal." he said softly, his eyes looking at my lips as I stared at him in confusion. "I'll let you make a five minute call to your mom if." he trailed off but I nod excitingly. Anything to speak with her.
"If you kiss me," he said inching closer to me . I flinched at his words . Kiss him?
"Wh-what did you just say?" I stutter slightly as he moved even closer .
"I said, kiss-me." He grinned like a idiot.
"No." I said as my breath twitched
"It's your wish." he mumbled and was about to lay down . I hold his arms immediately.
"Promise me you'll let me call her?" I asked him. His eyes got darker than usual.
"I already told you . Yes, I will." He replied as I gulped softly . Without further delay, I scooted close to him. I took one last breath before cupping his cheeks. His gaze is on mine causing my heart skip a beat . Come on, Do it Kat.
"This is getting boring-" before he could turn around, I leaned into a kiss, placing my lips on his lips to which he reacted instantly. He wrapped his hands around my neck and tries to deepen the kiss. I wish I can pull away already but he had no intention of doing the same. He bit my bottom lip .when I gasped,he let his tongue slide in. My heart fluttered a bit when he pulled me for another kiss. His eyes now filled with lust as he leaned closer for another kiss but I pulled away .
"Our deal. The phone-call." I reminded him . He rolled his eyes before turning on the lamp again.he was obviously not pleased with the fact that I ruined the moment.
"You have two minutes." He said while taking out his phone.
"But you said five minutes." I whinned but he didn't say anything.
"But-"
"Three minutes, Rina. Else, I change my mind." He said firmly as I held back the urge to cry . I called my mom.
"Hello? Mom, it's me." I said as soon as she picked up.
"Katy? darling. How are you doing?" She asked me as I saw Alex eyeing my every movements.
"I'm fine ,dad.how are you? Is dad fine?" I asked her not letting her speak.
"We're fine, I am sorry that your father said that we don't want you. " This made me silent. " But It's not true, we love you. Alex is what best for you. " She said softly.
"One minute left. " Alex cooes in my ears as he kissed my shoulders gently causing me goosebumps. I tried to ignore his presence.
"This is not what I wished for, mom. You know" I mumbled weakly. Alex started to draw circles behind my back.
"I know,Kat but please try for our sake. you can come visit us on the weekend." She said as if it's easy.
"Yes, I would love to! " before I could finish, Alex snatched the phone from me and hung up.
"Two minutes over, Barbie." He muttered as I reached to grab it.
"Please!" he shook his head before lying down on the bed.
He's annoying almost all the time.
" now go to sleep." He muttered, placing his palms under his head on the pillow and closing his eyes ignorantly.
"Please, my mom wants to see me this weekend . So, please let me go" I asked him mildly.
"Please-"
"No, don't waste your energy and time O this. No, you aren't allowed to get out." He said angrily as tears rolled down by cheeks. I wiped it and looked at him expectedly. I moved closer to him.
"Alex.." I choked out, I placed my hand on his arm gently, hoping I could somehow convince him into allowing me to go. "Alex, please. I will do anything. Just this once. " I literally begged him. My eyes widened in shock when he grabbed my wrist, swatting it from his arm and sat up from his lying position.
"Shut up!" he snapped, grabbing my shoulders roughly as I winced in pain. "Rina, what's wrong with you?! I don't get it. Seriously, you're annoying as hell. If I get angry, you start to crying like a river and if I do something nice, you never appreciate it and always bargain for more.! Why can't you be content with whatever I have give you?!" he yelled at top of his lungs. I couldn't help but cry. I am pathetic. He thinks he's doing me a great favour.
"I-I..." I stutter on my words as he just lay back down.
"Now,sleep!" He spat again . I lay down on the bed with my back facing him. I covered my mouth with both my hands and sobbed so that he won't be angry at me.
"I fucking hate you, Alexander Ivanov." My jeart screamed at him as I let more tears rolled down my cheeks
"I really hate you. I will make you pay. " I promised myself. Maybe Terry helps me I this. No, Terry is also a vampire. He can't be trusted.
I wonder what can I do to be away from all this.
