David hesitated for a while probably contemplating what to say.
"Ok. Ask me. " He said shortly and I smiled a little. He's friendly and quite trustworthy excluding that night.
"it's about Alexander, why everyone fear him?" I asked him . He chuckled softly before reaching into his pockets to pick something from it.
It's a small glass bottle with red liquid. I gag as I thought it's human blood.
" It's goat's blood. When my urge gets out of control, I drink this. I fed on it. " David replied as if he heard what I thought.
" Then about your question,He's not as dangerous or ruthless as people presume him to be," he responded, I stared at him in surprise. "But that's the kind of image he prefers to have. He wants people to get scared of him so that they won't get near him. " David said while rolling up his sleeves.
"Right, okay." I mumbled, rubbing my hands together nervously. "does Alexander killed anyone before.?" I asked him as I want to know whether the stories of him killling many true or rumors. He scratched the back of his hair, causing my heart to skip a beat. Maybe .
"He was very close to," When he uttered these words, my hands started to tremble as I gulped softly. So, it's clear.Katarina ,you should never piss off Alexander Ivanov. It will only led to your funeral.
"He shows his violent side only if it involves us. He only fought back to protect us so far." David continued as I averted my gaze back to the ground. It's clear that Alexander loves his brothers and do anything for them. He seems to be So why is he treating me so badly?
"He hates me, doesn't he?" I asked softly . On hearing this, he chuckled before shaking his head.
"You're not really behaving well lately so what'd you expect?" he asked with a grin and I narrowed my eyes at him.
"I am not here on my own free will, David. What do you expect me to do?" I asked, my tone turning all serious and low . I watched his expression turn blank within seconds.

"I can only say this," he said, standing up as I looked up at him. "Don't fight him off, he wouldn't hesitate to kill you if
he wants to." David stopped me abruptly and stood up. When I was about to ask him questions ,he disappeared out of my sight.
"David?!" I called him again and again, shooting up from my position but finally gave up when I realized he left for real. I was on my way to my room when I heard Diana's screams making me to

, it's just feeding time . Another painful scream interrupted my thoughts, I ran towards the dining room where the screams are heard.
I stared at Alexander in utter shock as he suck on her neck . I watch her cry in pain, she's becoming pale as he continued to suck her blood.
"It hurts.ahhhh.." I heard her whimper. I wanted to save her but my feet refused to move any further. I am too stunned to react. Do something, anything to stop her dying!
If she dies, then it's your fault Kat. Your conscience won't let you be at peace.
"Stop..." I finally managed to say. Alexander stopped to look at me, his eyes meeting mine as he continue to suck on her.
"Alex." her voice was barely audible as I ran straight to them . I then with great difficulty,ripped his hands away from her shoulders. Her fragile body dropped onto the floor. Before I could turn,two hands grabbed my shoulders roughly , I couldn't comprehend what's happening when my back was slammed to the concrete wall . I cried in pain as I looks at Alexander, his eyes showing some kind of emotion that I couldn't understand.
"You could've killed her so l-" I tried to explain myself but halted midway when he looked at me angrily. I started to tremble.
"what the hell? What do you think of yourself?!" he spat with so much vigour. His face was so close to mine, I could literally feel his hot, minty breath against mine.
"She could've died!" I defend myself as tears were already starting to flow from my eyes. I swallowed in another whimper as his nails dug in my shoulders.
"Does she looks like dying to you?!" he asked, releasing his grip and pointing at Hanna who was now getting up, her
hand covering her neck which has blood stains.
"You were hurting her-"
" Don't speak without knowing what happened. She asked for it,no. Infact,she begged me for it, why the hell do you have to get involved in everything?!" he raised his voice. I looked at Hanna who gave me a deadly look before walk away. "If you can't even offer yourself to us, why interfere with other things?"
"If she wanted it wholeheartedly, she wouldn't be screaming out in so much pain!" I screamed at him with the last bit of courage I had but immediately gasped when he grasped my wrists before yanking me closer to him.
"I tried to be nice to you, Rina. But you are getting on my nerves." He said through gritted teeth, his eyes gettung darker scaring the shit out of me. I tried to hold myself together. "I didn't feed on you or let my brother's force themselves on you. maybe it's about time I stop playing nice."
As soon as those last words slipped through his mouth, the tears that I bottled up, rolled down my face . I jerked his hand away. My patience reached it's limit. I bursted out. After all, I had nothing to lose, he probably going to kill me now anyways. And nice? Was he joking right now?
"I don't fucking care! I hate it here anyways, so kill me! Kill me and get it over with!" I screamed as I took a step forward and banging on his chest repeatedly. "You plan to kill us all anyways, so why bother waiting around?! And since when were you nice?!" I shouted louder this time and was about to curse him again when he grabbed both my wrists before pulling me closer, a soft growl escaping through his lips I swallowed the lump on my throat, my gaze is on the floor helplessly.
"Like I said, killing you would be too easy." His tone turned surprisingly soft and I looked up at him with hatred and
anger.
"Then I'll kill myself!" I blurted out unintentionally, not really meaning to say that. It's not like I was actually going to kill myself but I had to come back at him with something . I watched him flinch slightly before narrowing his eyes at me, as if he found something.
"It'll still be a favor for me," He replied, inching himself even closer, so close that I could feel the skin of his body now. "You can try to end your life but I'll definitely bring you back,my pretty barbie " he grinned, glancing his cold eyes into my brown ones and I mentally scoffed at his words. He's powerful, I'll admit that. But he can't bring back the dead.
"I'll bring you back as a vampire." He finished and my eyes widened as I tried to take in his words.
"Wh-what do you mea."
"How ironic it will be . You turning into the one thing you despise the most," his smirk grew wider, releasing his grip and my entire body started to feel numb as I came to realize what he meant.
"Shall we do it now?" He asked casually. I shook my head in fear.What the hell? No way. I don't want to be a vampire.
