After Alexander approved the idea of going out , everyone are excited about it . Even me. I am stepping out of the palace without any intention of escaping. I myself surprised by my behavior.
“Let me carry that for you.” David said, bolting up to me and grabbing a bag packed with food. His light platinum hair shone brightly in the sunlight.
“David, I'm fine. It's just a bag." I mumbled, snatching it away from him.
“You're extra nice to her today. Trying to make up for last night?" Franklin snickered as he ran his hand on his black hair. David scratched the back of his hair nervously as the events of last night flashed through my mind. I distanced myself.
“The jeep is here, get in!" Joey shouted excitingly, Every one took a seat and David sat next to me, which made me feel very uncomfortable and slightly annoyed. I glanced out of the window and noticed another Jeep driving next to us, side by side. It wasn't long before we arrived near a huge amusement park setup with thrilling rides and water rides in between the forest. I wonder how they made it here out of nowhere, the trees surrounding the entire area and everyone hops out of the Jeep, the girls squealing excitedly. As I stepped out, I smiled a little and breathed in the fresh air. Now this was more relaxing. The guys guided us inside through the bikes, warning us again and again not to go far in case we got lost. I'm annoyed as the only threat here are them. After walking for another half an hour through the forest, we stopped at a large grass spread out surrounded by trees as they decided that this was the perfect place for us to set up the tent.
"Alex will bring the blood bags, until then, we can feed on them." I heard a vampire say, causing a shiver to run down my spine.
“Don't worry,they won't hurt you." David's voice caused me to jump up as I turn around to face him.
“Yeah.” I said shortly, walking away and trying to help the girls set up the tent.
"After this trip, we'll hold a small party!" Joey shouted out the last word and everyone cheered in excitement. A party again! I sighed.
“Let's go!" Joey exclaimed like a kid. When I am about to walk, a hand grabbed my wrist and I turned to look up at David.
“she is not allowed to go." He said .
"Well, that's too bad then. Guess it's just me and the three pretty ladies." Joey said, not even questioning David as I
frowned at him.
"Wait, why-" before I could say anything, Joey walked away from us.
“Why can't I go?" I snapped as I swat my hand and frowned at him. I've been looking forward to this. This was the only way for me to get my mind off . Also since Alexander is not here, maybe there is a chance for me to escape.
“Alex's orders. He said to keep you safe and to make sure that you don't get hurt," David responded with a sigh
and I scoffed in frustration. “At any cost.” He added.
“Now he's worried? I can take care of myself ."I whined, not really meaning to sound like such a baby.
"Katarina-"
“Just, please? I really want to go. " I begged, hoping he would let it go but David stood his ground.
"It's not safe for you, there might be others which means that if you do get hurt-"
“Other vampires?" I interrupted him and he nodded. I've always known that they were many vampire families out there,
besides the Ivanov's but I didn't know they lived so close by.
“Can I just go?" I asked softly. But David shook his head. “Too bad, sweetheart." Franklin said in a fake tone and I narrowed my eyes at them.
"Whatever." I muttered, turning around and stomping inside the tent.
“Katarina, come on," David groan but I ignored him as I closed the tent in annoyance.
“It's already past noon, what am I supposed to do here ?" I asked myself before grabbing the bag of food and drinks. I opened it and found a wine bottle.
"One drink won't hurt!" I said to myself before opening the bottle. I closed my eyes before taking a sip, and then another.
“Much better." I muttered to myself, feeling light headed .
"I've got to come up with a better plan!" I groaned, keeping the bottle away in case I got drunk, although I'm pretty sure
I was drunk right now. I drunk one after the other.
“Katy , we're going swimming in nearby lake, you want to join us." asked David. I rolled my eyes before lying down.
“I'm good. I'm not allowed out." I replied. They chuckled and went away.
" if I can't have fun then I will have the drinks." I said out loud, grabbing another bottle of wine gulping it down. I don't even know how many hours just passed by. The sour liquid ran down my throat making my mind going completely hazy.
“katy, come out to eat. We've set up the camp fire." James called out.I groaned before staring at my bottle, my vision become even dizzier than before.
"Leave me alone!" I groaned, crossing my legs and muttering some curse words to myself.
"Kat, get out of there. Just because you can't go out doesn't mean you have to stay inside all day." David muttered but my thoughts were drifting into my own world as I let out a giggle.
“Come out, you've been in there long enough," Elena told as she started zipping down the tent .
"Katy, what are you..." She trailed away, her eyes catching the sight of empty wine bottle.
"Have you been drinking?!” David asked in disbelief. I let out a fake-gasp as James and Franklin stood next to him.
“I'm not drunk!" I shot back, staring at him in shock. He had the audacity to accuse me of getting drunk?
“You were supposed to look after her. " I forced myself to walk up to them.
“Excuse yooou," I slurred, pointing my finger at David and glaring at him.
"Ah, it's dark.” I said while looking at the sky in a sweet tone.
“Music! Where is the music?!" I asked out loud causing some of them chuckle before I looked at Kristen who was
now looking at me in disgust. “You, what's wrong with you ? Always glaring at me?" I questioned and watched her eyes widen in surprise before she turned away in embarrassment.
"Go back in and rest, you need to-" Elena stopped as burst of music came from the camp fire.
“Now, there," I said, pointing my finger towards the camp fire, where Danny was supposedly standing. “is the real fun. " I started to dance.
“Come on, let her have some fun." Franklin chuckled as I stumbled. It wasn't long before I was dancing along with them and I motioned David to come join us but he refused.
I found my arms wrapped around Franklin's neck as I moved my hips and danced alongside him. Elena and James are dancing together.
"What the hell is going on?!" a familiar voice snap as we all turned to look at Alexander.
“A party, obviously." Franklin replied . I rolled my eyes before walking up to him.
"You," I slurred, poking his chest “What's wrong with you? Why do you always have to ruin the fun?" I questioned, putting my hands on my hips and his eyes widened in surprise.
"Are you drunk?" he questioned, stumbling on his words. I started to feel a little dizzy.
“What the hell, I thought I asked everyone to keep an eye on her!” he snapped and I grabbed his shirt, yanking him closer to my face and frowning up at him.
“I am not drunk! Why does everyone keep saying that? I feel fine!" I whined then squealed when one of my favorite
songs blasted from the speaker.
"She got drunk inside the tent. We don't know." David explained him.
"Don't be such a spoil sport, Alex baby.” I said, clutching on his black shirt tightly and leaning closer to his face.
His eyes never left mine as I grabbed his hands and pulled him towards
everyone.
“We're going back now.” He raised his voice to which everyone else remained silent.
"Come on, Alex. I wanna dance with you." I whined, wrapping my arm around his neck and continuing my dance moves. Alex pulled his hands from me as he looks unamused.
"Love me like you do, lo-lo-love me like you do"I cupped his cheeks and he stare at me. “Love me like you do. " I sing as my eyes locked into his ones that are now showing so many emotions, I couldn't differentiate which is which.
“Rina, stop-"
“Love me like you do." I ignored him and kept singing as I moved my hips, inching closer to his body, my chest slightly pressed against his as I started to sing louder. “Touch me like you do, to-to-touch me like you do
What are you waiting for?" I felt a hand around my waist as he pulled me closer, lust and another emotion I couldn't decipher .I laughed and turned around, dancing to the music.
