Alexander maybe powerful but he can't do it.
"Why are you doing this to me? What did I even do? "
"Just Go back to your room before I actually do it." he cut me off, while glaring at me. "Now!" he shouted again, causing me to jolt up and rushed out of the room like a scared puppy. As soon as I opened my room, I slammed the door behind me venting out all my anger at the door I had left and plopping on the bed. There's no way he would turn me into a vampire. "How ironic, becoming the one thing you despise the most. Shall we try it?"it was repeatedly heard in my ears until my eyelids gave in and I drifted off into a deep sleep.
The next day,
" It's more than an hour. Why he isn't here? " Joey whined like a kid. I looked at the chair Alex usually sits on dining table. He was never late.
"Katy, why don't you go call him?" David told me. My heart almost ripped out of my body at his words.
" I I ca" I stopped seeing Kristen standing up to go. "I didn't ask you to, did I?" Davis asked annoyingly which was strange because he was always sweet and gentle when he spoke to me. I always felt like he was picking his words carefully when it comes to me but then again, this could be his way of getting on my good side.
"Sorry." Kristen mutter before sitting back down . Elena chuckled while James jesture to shut up. I looked at him pleadingly but he looked firm like he wasn't going to take "no" for an answer.
"Go, you want to get on his good side, right? This is your chance." He stated, placing his elbows on the table and
interlocking his fingers before giving me a small smile.
"I never wanted to-"
"Katarina, are you going to go or not? We're going to start without him and if he gets upset about it, I'm blaming you for it." Franklin growled lowly and I snapped my head towards him before i stood up and rushing towards the door. I didn't want anymore trouble with Alex after last night.
"Which room was it anyways?" I pondered, trying to remember the last time I saw Alexander walk into his room. As I walked through the hallway, I took a left turn and came across the black door, which I assume Alexander's room. I knocked on the door several times but he didn't respond. So, I peeked inside through the door. To my surprise, he was still lying on the bed, shirtless, revealing his six-packs. I went near him and saw his face. he looked innocent and peaceful. I was about to call him when I noticed him mumble.
"Go away from her. She's mine,Terry" he choked out and I couldn't help but reach out to him hoping he would calm down at my touch. My fingers barely touched him but he grabbed my wrists roughly, his eyes fluttering open. I gasped when he pulled me towards him but somehow I managed to stay still.
"I came here to wake you up." I said softly and he gave me a look . "Everyone was waiting for you and they are worried as you didn't show up." I explained . He was silent which shocked me beyond words. I guess whatever that nightmare was, it really shook him. Funny, I didn't know Vampires have nightmares too until now.
"Ok" He said softly, another sign of a not normal Alex. He would have lashed out. "Ar eyou really fine?" I couldn't help but ask out of curiosity as I watch him look at me before averting my gaze.
"You doesn't have to know. It's not like you care. Get lost." he muttered, his voice returning back to his normal cold one and I made a face before sighing softly.
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked.." I said bitterly, lowering my eyes.
"It's about my ex-lover Paige. " He said lowly. I don't know which was more surprising, the fact that he was actually opening up to me or the fact that someone like him had a lover.
"What happened to her?" I asked, feeling a little awkward that I am actually having a talk with this guy.
"Are you going to stand there or come sit down?" he asked, I contemplated whether I should actually sit down or not then I ended with sitting down next to him on the bed .
"what happened to her?" I asked as he leaned back a little in his bed.
"She got killed." He said shortly and my eyes widened at his words.
"By who-"
"By my best friend." He answered lowly under his breath . didn't know what to say.
"How...why?" I questioned, moving closer to him from a side.
"She cheated on me with him and ended up getting brutally murdered by him." He finished. I don't know what to do.
"I'm so sorry for your loss." I said finally, not really wanting to continue this any longer. Don't get me wrong, I do feel bad for the girl and for what happened to him if it's true but that's no excuse for him to be a monster. But was that good enough to justify his mistakes? No, not a chance.
"You know," he started softly, moving closer to my body , my heart begins to beat faster "You remind me of her." He said softly and I froze when I felt his cold hand slip around my waist from behind, causing me panic.
"She was fierce,kind, beautiful and alluring." he whispered in my ears. I wanted to move but I couldn't, it's like my body was refusing to move .
"She was breathtakingly beautiful," he whispered, his tone soft and sexy "Just like you." He finished. My eyes widened when I felt his lips graze against my neck before he placed a soft and gentle kiss on them, causing me glitters.
"Don't!" I found myself untangle from his grip and standing up. "Please..." I said slowly. He smirk at me. I couldn't help but frown at him.
"You're blushing." He stated the fact.
"Don't misunderstand, it's just a normal reaction.-" before I could finish, he appeared in front of me.
"Get lost." He said, his tone remaining soft . I walked out and upon reaching the door, I turned it . My heart thumping in my chest. Why was that? We didn't spoke after that.
I'm glad that he didn't bring up the incident that happened in the dining tablr. That would be too awkward.
"So katy, are you getting used to living together with us?" Joey asked and I answered with a quick nod, an
obvious lie but I didn't care.
"We don't like liars." David say rudely but I ignored him causing Alex smile at me. Again my heart fluttered. Then they start talking about holding some ball-party or something but I didn't pay any attention to them anymore. Instead, I ate my food and was about to get up when Alex's phone started ringing and we all looked at him as he picked up.
"Oh is it that bad? "He asked as I looked at him confused. "One moment." He
mumbled, giving me another long look before handing me the phone . I took it from him suspiciously
"Kat, please...help us." My teacher's voice barely choked out from the other side. I was scared upon hearing her unsettled voice.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?!" I asked her.
"Vampires." she choked out softly, her voice trembling and I bit my bottom lip to stop the tears from streaming down
my face. "They're everywhere, killing everyone." She stated before the call was ended abruptly.
"What's wrong katy?" David ask with concerned look.
"My school is in trouble." I choked out.
"They're under attack by some vampires." I said angrily.
"What?"
"It's not one of us for sure." Alex replied in irritated tone.
" So what? There are kids ,teachers in there!" I said, slamming my hands on the table, tears rolling down my face as I looked at everyone's faces before half of them sat back down, their expressions remaining indifferent.
"How could you all be so cruel?! There are innocent people getting killed right now and you're all just sitting around" I asked them angrily.
"Shut the fuck up, who the hell do you think you are to order us around?!" Danny spat, bolting up from his position and I cowered back in fear, my eyes filling with both hatred and desperation.
"We work on Alex's orders.sorry Katarina." Franklin said softly, giving me an apologetic look before pushing Danny away.
