Lorenzo’s P.O.V
“Roman, You need to hide then I’ll catch you, I can see you behind the tree!” I yelled,
“Okay,” he yelled back.
I chuckled as I turned back and saw Nikolai kissing Venessa’s cheek. It made me angry, but I know it’s good for her to be with him. She can’t stay happy with me, I’m not the one for her. All those decisions which I made popped in my head, which immediately made me turn my back. I need to let her go; I whispered to myself, letting a lone tear fall from my eyes.
I wiped it and walked towards Roman.
I have to keep my promise.

Venessa’s P.O.v
As I was staring at Nikolai, shocked and also happy to know that he came here for me, suddenly Roman ran to me and hugged me.
He was giggling and hugging my waist, I bent down, “Will you play with me?” He asked, looking at his cute little face who would say no.
“Okay,” I said, he immediately took my hand and pulled me with him towards the ground.
After playing with him, we walked inside the mansion. I took him to my bedroom; he brought his toys with him and we sat on my bed with them.
“So, Zed hates matt?” I asked.
He was telling me about his friends.
“Yeah,” He said, playing with his toy.
“But why?” I asked him,
“Because… Zed likes Mia, but she likes Matt” he said looking at me,
“Oh! Okay,” I said, stroking his hair.
“Actually, I have a question?” He said, looking at me.
“Ask!” I said, he placed his toy aside and turned towards me.
“Can’t they both love her without fighting, like Nikolai and Enzo?” he asked with his big innocent eyes.
I didn’t understand how to answer his question, “Enzo saw Nikolai kissing your cheek but he said nothing,” He said touching the place where Nikolai kidded my cheek, “He cried, but said nothing to Nikolai” He said, making his eyes wide.
“He cried?” I asked,
“Yeah,” he said, shaking his head.
I couldn’t understand how to react to what said, Enzo cried?
“I think something fell into his eyes...Enzo never cries,” I said.
He shook his head while getting up on his knees and taking my hands in his, “No, I saw him wiping his tears” he said,
“Okay, We should keep this as our secret..” I tried to tell him he shouldn’t say this to anyone but he cut me off, “No, no, no, I have to say this to Nikolai, He will ask why Enzo was crying, we should help him” he said, standing up from the bed.
I immediately got up and walked towards him, “Roman, We will tell Nikolai, But not now… Enzo cried today Right?” He nodded his head at my question, “We should ask him why? Right away, it’ll hurt him” I tried to make him agree but the look on his face made me think of any other excuse.
“Okay, We’ll tell him some other day” he agreed, I released the breath I was holding.
I smiled at him, “Sure,” I said and took his hand in mine. We walked downstairs towards the dining table, Nikolai, Enzo, and Jessica were sitting there. Hearing our footsteps they turned their heads in our way, I glanced at Jessica who was looking at me with pure hatred in her eyes.
I smirked at her and moved my eyes off her. We strolled to the dining table; I made Roman sit between me and Nikolai.
“How’s your leg, Jessica?” I asked, looking at her with a smile on my face.
She forced a fake smile, “It’s good, Thanks to you” she said and earned a glare from Enzo and Nikolai.
I chuckled while I took my plate. Judy walked to us and served us food. Everyone ate in silence. No one spoke anything. We all ate quietly but what Roman told me was running in my mind all the while.
I still can’t believe that he cried, Why would he cry when he moved on with that bitch.
I have this strong feeling that something is going on behind my back. That day in the forest when these two met, they talked about something. I should know what happened that day, all this thing began from that day.
I glanced at Enzo who was having his dinner, “I’ll make sure you reveal everything to me Enzo”

After having my dinner, I helped Judy in cleaning the kitchen and walked to my bedroom. I took a shower and wore my pajamas; I walked outside of my room towards Enzo’s room.
I knocked on the door but there’s no response; I knocked again, still no response. I pushed the door and stepped inside, “Enzo!” The room was dark, I switched on the lights and saw the room was empty.
I walked downstairs and saw Judy cleaning the dishes; I strolled to her.
“Judy!” I called,
She turned to me, “Yes, do you need something?” She asked, walking to me.
“Do you know where Enzo is? He’s not in his room” I asked,
Her face fell by hearing me, that tensed me and I also noticed tears in her eyes, it confused me.
“Judy, are you okay?” I asked, touching her shoulder. She turned her head to me and held my hand in hers, “I need to show you something!” She said in a low voice.
“Okay,” I said,
We began walking towards the stairs, My heart was beating furiously against my ribcage. I had a feeling in my pit that something bad is going to happen but I can’t understand why?
We climbed the stairs; it was dark. I wasn’t understanding where Judy was taking me, but I was curious to know what’s happening in this mansion after I left.
I want to know everything and no one can stop me. We reached the floor where his secret room was located, all those memories rushed to my mind when we began walking towards that room.
Sweat began forming on my forehead, my legs started shaking and my palm was sweaty.
Judy stopped in front of the big door. She turned towards me with tears filled eyes.
“Promise me, You won’t run away when you go inside,” she said with tears flowing down from her eyes.
Somehow, it scared me to go inside after hearing her words but I know I can step back,”I promise, I won’t" I said squeezing her hands.
She smiled at me and turned back as she began pressing the buttons. I watched her and waited for the doors to open.
Making no noise the door opened, I glanced at Judy who was signaling me to go inside.
Nervously I stepped inside, it was so dark inside that it was hard for me to even notice anything.
I can feel Judy walking behind me, Still, I was scared a bit. As I walked inside, a strong Alcohol smell hit my nose. It was so intense that I had to cover my nose with my hands.
I noticed a couch placed in front of the window, I can see someone sitting on the couch facing the window.
Near the couch, there was a small stand table with a few bottles which was not clearly visible to me. As I walked closer, the alcohol smell was becoming stronger.
As I walked closer to the person sitting on the chair, I began panicking.
The person had a whiskey bottle in their hand, I moved closer and then his face came into my view while a gasp escaped from my mouth.
