"Lorenzo," she said as she stepped ahead and hugged him, I was standing there like a statue staring blankly at them.
I know this was going to happen, but I couldn't control the pain in my heart. I glanced at Enzo and saw his arms wrapped around her as I glanced at his face the pain increased. He was smiling while hugging her, this hurt me more.
I swallowed the lump formed in my throat as I glanced at Judy who was standing at the corner with a sad expression on her face. They released each other and smiled, I glanced back at Enzo and saw him smiling warmly at her. Tears rolled in my eyes, I quickly turned my head and closed my eyes as I tried to control my tears not to flow down my eyes.
We walked inside the mansion, and Judy immediately hugged me, "I missed you, hon" she whispered.
I just smiled while closing my eyes and hugging her, "I missed you too," I whispered.
We released each other and smiled wholeheartedly, I turned around and noticed that woman watching me with a smile on her face. She was suspicious, The way she was smiling was giving me an odd feeling.
"Hello, my name is Jessica Will" She introduced herself as she extended her hand to me.
I glanced at her hand, "Venessa…" I said as I peeked at Enzo I clearly saw him clenching his jaw. I smirked internally at his reaction and moved my eyes off him to Jessica who was staring at me with confusion written all over her face.
"I'm his girlfriend," She said wrapping her hand around his arm like a snake. I ignored her move and just stared at her blankly, "I'm his wife," I said, calmly and stared at her shocked face. She quickly removed her hand and glanced at Enzo's who was glaring at me.
I turned towards Judy,
"I'm hungry," I said, she quickly turned her head to me, "Food is ready Venessa, I'll set the table," she said.
"I'll change," I said, and walked towards the stairs and climbed them. I can feel Two pairs of eyes staring at me. I just ignored them and walked to my room, I mean Enzo's bedroom.
I opened the door and stepped inside while closing the door behind me. I turned around to see the room as it was when I last saw it.
All the events that happened here rushed to my mind, I closed my eyes and let the tears down my cheeks.
All of a sudden the door kicked open, I quickly wiped my tears and turned around. A furious Enzo was standing in front of me, and the look on his face made me gulp hard.

Nikolai's P.O.V.
I was sitting inside my car with Penelope and Alan. We reached my Island and were traveling to my mansion. Her thoughts weren't leaving my mind. Yes, I called Lorenzo to take her back, I had to correct what I did. Watching her cry for him every single day hurt me like never before. A pure soul like hers should be protected and for that I had to send her with him.
I can protect her, but I can't see her constantly in pain crying for him day and night, even though I try to help her in any way but she just closes herself up without talking or revealing her inner feelings.
This was the reason for calling Penelope here, I asked her to come mainly because I want Venessa to open up. I never asked Penelope anything that they talk or share, I just want them to become friends. I wanted Venessa to have a friend and for that Penelope is the best person.
It was my mistake that they both ended up living without each other, it was all my mistake. Back when Enzo came to meet me I couldn't send Venessa because of a few reasons and told him something which I regretted when I saw he accepted it. I know he spent his time with her that day when I saw his ring in my garden but When I saw Venessa's face after he left, it broke my heart. The regression guilt was eating me inside whenever I saw her sad face.
She loves him more than she loves herself and it amazes me, How someone can love somebody more than themselves. I know I was slowly falling for her but couldn't control myself around her. I know she was married to my brother but her kindness, her innocence, and quiet nature pulled me dangerously towards her. I tried to be far from her but it's not that easy.
I saw her bond with Roman, no one other than her made him laugh out loud. Roman never talks to anyone other than me, but when I saw him smiling and hugging her impressed me. I was constantly worried about him before her coming here, but it was gone when I saw them growing a bond with each other.
our moment in her room while Roman was sleeping made me realize that I can't stay without touching her when she's near to me and I don't know why but it made me feel guilty. I decided not to touch her again, and I have to maintain distance from her but it was forgotten when I saw her in that damn dress while we were going to the auction in New york.
She was so beautiful in that dress, It was so hard for me to control myself to not touch her.
