He leaned back on his chair and threw me a gaze. A strange pale of eyes darted on me, based on how he stare at me.
"What can you say about it, Mr. Han?" the ma beside Gabriel asked.
"Hmm, I guess the Sunrise Steel has a strong potential in this industry. Why not invest our money on this company, right?" Mr. Han faced the other investors present.
All of them nodded and turned their attention to the blue folders they're holding.
"I like that idea. It's better if we add more shipping yards in different parts of the country. I also want us to expand your branches in US and Europe," an old man stated.
"We are planning to do that, Mr. Wallas. That is our target right now, thus, this meeting happened to reach out for your support," said the man beside Gabriel again.
"Its good to hear that from you..." the old man nodded.
"I want you all to study our proposal. I will set a meeting again with you gentlemen and I'm looking forward for a better result," Gabriel said with finality.
He stood up and shook hands with the others. I did the same as I watched them walk out of the conference room.
"Hi, I'm Rupert Sullivan," introduced the man beside Gabriel earlier.
"Rupert? I'm sorry, did we meet before?" I asked curiously.
I think I already met him. Just like that girl im Galla, his overall look is so different that I can't recognize who he really is.
He smiled widely at me. He slightly fixed his hair before lending his hand towards me.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Meredith! Nice to meet you," I murmured.
"Yeah, we met before. Can't you remember?" he chuckled slightly.
"Rupert..." I whispered while looking at him intently. His devilish smile appeared in his mestizo face.
"Rupert?!" I exclaimed. I can't believe I met the farmer friend of Zekiah. His face is different from before when he just dressed simply.
He laughed at my reaction. "I'm glad you remembered me!"
"Rupert, leave us first, we still have a lot to talk about," Gabriel told him.
My smile instantly vanished as I looked over him sitting decisively like a king.
"I'll go ahead, it was nice to see you again, Emory!" Rupert held my hand and gave a warm handshake and left me a wink of an eye.
Rupert was gone for minutes bit I still can't bring myself to walk outside.
He said he wants to talk to me, but he looks like he's busy with some other things. He's been busy looking at his phone. He slowly rubbed his lower lip using his fingers while chatting with whoever it might be.
I sighed heavily and rolled my eyes skyward. I knew I caught his attention.
He placed his phone on the table and sat professionally on his swivel chair. I bit my bottom lip as I admired how magnificently and gloriously he was in front of me.
"Take a seat..." he commanded.
I contracted my lips into a frown when he tapped his lap.
"W-what?!" My voice almost choked.
His lips protruded sexily, I can't take my eyes of it. He tapped his lap once more.
I mentally shook my head. This man was more dangerous than cigarettes. I felt like he's slowly powdering my strength though he didn't even make a move yet.
"I said sit here..." he said with emphasis.
I chuckled loudly, trying to calm the thunder of my heart but damn I was struggling to calm down. I tried to breathe normally but I think I can't.
"Sit here, or do you want me to pull you in?" he told to me seriously.
I gasped, not having any choice but to follow him. Besides, I know he won't do anything bad, knowing that Sean and Hunts are just outside.
I slowly took a step towards him. If I'd only have a power to stop the round of a clock or the Earth that's revolving on its axis, I will surely do it right now!
It would take me a few steps to get to him, but he was impatient. His massive long clad arms wrapped around my waist and drag me aggressively over his lap.
"I hate waiting..." he softly said right to my ears.
I can't speak for a second. I am nearly melting, I could feel the blood pulsing through my veins that made it hard for me to breathe.

I started to have an heart attack when I heard about Alessandra's arrival.
"Escort her to my suite... Tell her I'll follow," Gabriel told Sean in his baritone voice.
"But she's currently at your office, Mr." Sean replied quickly.
A heavy sigh escaped his mouth before picking up the phone from the table.
"Alright, bring her here..."
Sean nodded and quickly turned around while Hunts went back to his position beside the door.
I stood still for about a minute, mind fully occupied of the reason why Alessandra came here.
Does she know that Gabriel ad I had an affair? Is that why she's here?
