The walls shook, the ceiling shook and I could hear screams and growls, it felt like a nightmare, one that I had been stuck in for a long time.
"Luca what is going on?." I whispered.
"Someone is in the house, who breached the front gate, we need to get you out of here." He spoke.
My eyes filled with tears, there were so many emotions, my husband, he placed a tracker inside of me, was it when I got into an accident, he had the time to do that, I never realized that, how could he do that to me, he never really loved me.
I stared at Luca as he held my hand. He wants to leave, he wants to fight for his pack.
Chaos filled the house when I heard an explosion and saw smoke in the air through the window.
"What is going to happen to you?" I whispered.
"I will be right behind you, I will be out there before you get there, I promise." He spoke and I nodded, I watched as he opened up another panel, leading into another place and I felt scared. I didn’t even know my way.
I can’t go in there alone, what if some of them are there, what would I do if someone of them is here.
"Luca- you have to do this, please." He spoke, my eyes glistened with tears, it would be selfish to ask him to come with me, let all of his men do for nothing but it’s my fault that they have been found, it’s my fault that there is any track of them.
I reached the place when I turned to look at Luca, I rushed toward him and I gave him a hug.
"You become the monster you are meant to be Luca, hurt all of the for destroying your home." I breathed out, scared of the words that I uttered too and I am more scared that I meant every word that escaped my lips, it made me more terrified that I wanted him to hurt someone.
I have never felt before, my emotions were heightened and my eyes filled with more tears.
He can’t become that monster he is always during the full moon because it’s not here yet, but I don’t want him holding back.
"I will be back for you." He said, when he pulled away, I felt a wave of emotions wash over me when I placed my lips on mine, our kiss covered in our tears when he pulled away from me and I got into the dark room.
The light turned on as I walked, it was not what I expected, the door fork behind closed and I didn’t hear any screams, it didn’t hear any yells, I didn’t hear any growls and it scared me. It felt better having to hear it, knowing that there are people around it.
For years I have been with one man and it feels like I didn’t even know him well, it feels like he is not the man I left my mom for, he is not the man I fell for, he is not the man that would bring me flowers and I thought it was normal for him to change what I didn’t know what that. He was changing for the worse.
He tagged me like a monster would, when I woke up from my two-day sleep, he told me I broke a hip and I need to be in bed, I thought bars why my ass was sore and that red spot I always had it’s because of the accident, it’s because I got hurt.
He said and I believed him, when I love someone, when I trust someone, I believe every word that escapes their lips like a fool that I am, like someone that didn’t care, like someone that just wanted to trust them but that’s the fool that I am, I should have done better.
It made me wonder what other lies he says to me, what other things he claimed, what he said that made me believe him, what he could have said that I trusted so badly.
The more I walked I compared him with Luca, Luca would tell me the truth no matter how bad it sounds, no matter how much it gets me, and no matter what I feel, he will tell me the truth, he will make sure that I listen to what he says to say.
I guess maybe I am better off without Conrad yet I wanted to talk to him, yet I wanted to find out what is going on, why he did what he did, and who he has become, who he is working with, and the call Luca got that day, did it have to do with him.
I felt like it did and this attack, what has become, what happened to the man I married, he is not there, he was never there I guess.
When I reached the door, my hands shook, I was unable to read for it, I had no idea how long I had been walking, there was nothing to track and I had been deep inside my thoughts, my eyes filled with tears when I thought about Luca
He told me he will be there, what if he is not, I reached for the door and I opened it, I found mauled in the middle of a forest and I glanced across the area when I heard a pair of footsteps, the door has closed from inside and I can’t even get in even if I wanted to.
"Luca," I whispered when I felt his scent getting stronger, he didn’t lie, he kept his promise, he is here.
I raced toward him and he wrapped his hand around me, pulling me closer to him; I stared at him with a smile on my face and he placed a kiss on my cheek.
"He is fine, he is coming with." He spoke and I nodded, I would be hurt if something happened to them, but when his eyes met mine, I knew something horrible had happened, something he didn’t want to tell me about.
"My father." I breathed out, it has to do with him, I haven’t heard a word about him since last night and I can tell that something I would not be able to handle has taken place and I didn’t know what to do.
"We need to leave, I will explain everything on the way." He spoke and I nodded, I could hear some noises, it was a bit far but for how long, how long before it gets closer to us, and how long before it ruins both of us
"Where are we?" I asked, while we were in the car, it was filled with comfortable silence as he wrapped me around his arm and I felt better, now the car came to a halt and that was it.
We stood in front of a beautiful house, maybe a bit better than his mansion, it was great and it looked cozy.
"My home." He spoke, but o didn’t understand what he meant by that until I stared at him again and I realized what he meant, that’s the place he grew up in, who would think the Alpha would grow up in a place .
It didn’t scream royalty, it didn’t scream money, it was beautiful though, covered in flowers, it was elegant, not like his mansion that once anyone sees it, they could tell it’s his, it’s gave a type of homey sensation and not only that, the more I stared at it, I realized it held stories.
I didn’t know why I did what I did yet I found myself holding his hand, everyone knows the story, the alpha lost his parents in a war, both of his parents died that day and he was forced to become and take his father’s position sooner than anyone had.
"What were they like?" I whispered and he didn’t say so.
"It doesn’t matter, they are gone." He said coldly, no one has a no idea what his relationship is like with his parents, I mean to hear they are great, but what is on the outside is not usually what is inside.
My eyes filled with emotions as we headed into the house, I had never seen him , he was hesitating, he didn’t want to walk in, he didn’t want to witness and recall the things that took place.
"I am here, I am going to be here Luca, I don’t know what forever means but right now I will be here for you," I said again when we headed further into the living room and I heard footsteps from behind. I turned around to find Ares holding someone in his arms.
