"You are fine now," I spoke, gently changing her into better clothes after bathing her, she is shaken up, someone did this to her and I am going to bring an end to them, I will make sure that they are hurt.
It’s bad enough they are here, it means Victor and Conrad are aware of where we are, they know where I am keeping Olivia, I would be damned if I let anyone or anything happen to her.
"Stay with me." She spoke and I nodded, even though I had to work I didn’t leave.
"Come to the office with me, Ares has an update," I mentioned, I picked her up in a bridal style, my blood still steaming with anger but I have to be calm, she already saw me lose control once but not anymore, not again.
"Did you find him?" I asked when Ares saw her get comfortable on my lap, I know the word is out, the Alpha has a mate but Olivia is not a normal Omega, if she were, she would not have two mates yet she did.
I stared at him again when he looked away from her, she buried her face against my body and my eyes met his again.
"One of the gaurds is missing form his post, last I asked, the mentioned he had to leave for some family emergency, now it could be him or this could just be a ploy to distract us form the real traitor, maybe when he found out someone heard, he knew that he would be snitched soon, made a few calls, it’s doesn’t take time to create a tragedy in someone life," Ares explained.
He is right about that, and I have a feeling it’s a ploy, I have a feeling the real traitor is smart enough not to leave, no one saw him, o my heard his voice and I have more than fifty guards here, spread across the house and compound, we won’t have time for her to identify their voice and anyone can fake.
Fuck, I don’t like the way this is going, I even hated it more that she is in danger because of me.
"Find out what happened, how the tragedy took place and while you are at that, find out about the rest of the guards, whoever this person is, I want him out of this fucking place before tomorrow morning." I gritted my teeth and he nodded.
He gave a nod before heading out of my office.
"I don’t like that he likes me anymore, I mean he never liked me but he was polite now I think he hates me even more," Olivia spoke, referring to Ares, he didn’t hate her, he just didn’t know how to process all of this.
Maybe he thinks just like the rest of the wolves I deserve a stronger mate yet I didn’t tell her that.
"He is fine," I spoke, when she pulled away and she glanced at me. "We have to be careful tonight, I will move all of my work here," I explained.
"Do you think the house is going to get attacked too?"
"He won’t, if he wants to do something, it would be worse rather attacking our home," I mumbled against my breath and she smiled.
"You said our." She spoke, she has no idea the control she has over me, the power she possesses as an Alpha that controls the whole city because I would do anything for her, even do it means having to die too.
"I made dinner," Aria smirked when we walked into the living room, she should not be here, I didn’t trust her completely, the only time she cried for her so-called parents was during the funeral and it was brief, like she didn’t care
Yet from the stories I have heard, from what I have witnessed, they will do anything for her, they will make sure she is happy and they always listen to her.
She is not depressed that they died, more like she is relieved that they are gone.
"Olivia and I are having dinner out," I spoke, it was not among her, she stared at us with confusion on he face, just one word from her sister and I would snap her neck.
Olivia didn’t have to be this good all of the time, she didn’t have to care for someone like her sister, someone who didn’t even matter.
"But I- not another word, share the meal with the guard," I said cutting her off. "This is not your home, don’t get comfortable with it and this should be the last time you get into a place you were not asked to me, the only room you are allowed inside is your bedroom, not my office." I breathed out.
I recalled what she did, how worried Olivia was when she heard her voice, and I know she was trying to get into my bedroom last night, it all didn’t matter right now because one more snap and she would be out of here.
I don’t mind feeding her to my wolves, they would want her in a minute.
"Yes, Luca." She spoke.
"It’s Alpha." I breathed out and she didn’t speak, maybe when she was at home she could do what she wanted but this is my home and Olivia can be forgiving and nice but it can’t be me, it could never be me.
I stared at her with a frown on my face when we headed out of the house, leaving the house was never an option yet here we are, it would give me time to think about this guard and enough time for Ares to watch over them.
We are out of the house, this may be an opportunity for them to try and snoop and I have laid the perfect trap for the traitor.
"How about we get dinner and get home, I don’t want to eat out," Olivia said.
I agreed to that, being seen outside is not a perfect solution especially when I have no idea where Conrad or Victor would be.
I thought I had it all, him giving her to em, I thought I did it my way but it is not the case, for years he has been planning and plotting, for years he knew that Olivia looked like her and he taught of the perfect plan, for years he knew what he had to do and he did it, he made me think it was my decision all along.
It was his, always his, which made me worried because if it took him this long to be perfect and bring her to me, I wondered what other things they had in mind and he was one of my Betas.
He knows the in and out, he is aware of many secrets, many that some don’t need to know; he knows how we operate, I hated that we ever let him come close and he has known for a long time what was happening and he fed it to his uncle.
I watched as Olivia placed the order and she headed toward me like a kid, she had a smile on her face, her eyes flicked with hope when I placed my hand in hers.
"The Alpha buying food from a food truck, doesn’t sit well with me."
"He will do anything for the woman he lo- he cares about." I suddenly said, I didn’t want to scare her.
There is only so much she can handle at the moment.
My eyes met hers and I stared at her again, I can’t wait to give her all she deserves, a man who would burn the world for her, a man who will hurt others just because they looked at her...
Her lips gently placed on mine the moment we headed into the room when my hand wrapped around her, it softly grazed her thigh, I could feel the heat of my body radiating through hers and my wolf flashed through my eyes.
I don’t want him to take control, she is not ready for that. She is too pure to be tainted by him.
"Luca:" she breathed out and I closed my eyes for a second so I would take control, her eyes met mine again and I smiled, I gave her a warm smile before I guided her to the bed.
Each of her legs rested on each side of my waist when she pulled me closer and I placed feather kisses against her cheek and the nape of her neck, there is nothing better than seeing my mark on her, knowing that I did that, I caused that and she is all mine.
She stared at me again, when my hand found to place to the bend of her panties and her breath hitches,
"Luca." She moaned out, begging for me.
"There is someone in the closet." Olivia whimpered and I froze.
