"You can’t-" she was about to say when I pulled her away, and out of the room, I led her out of the office and into the hallways.
She needs to learn she can’t snoop around.
"What is going on, where is Luca?"
"That’s Alpha Luca to you, don’t pretend like you care about him when he doesn’t care about you, he wants nothing to do with you, what did I warn you about Aria?"
"Can you stop:" she chuckled, "this façade, this strong woman you are pretending to be, you are not her, you are a weak timid girl and I want you to realise that." She smiled and I pushed her away.
She fell to the ground and I didn’t care, why is she making it hard?
"You can not snoop around, no one is allowed into his office and if his guards had sent you, they would have taken you away into the basement, they would have punished you for what you have done." I yelled, "Do you even realise we are under attack and if you keep behaving the way you are, he would be forced to let you go, let you die no matter what I say."
I had better things to take care of, I didn’t want to have this conversation with her and I am done with it, I know she heard him down there and she is suspicious, if she knows what’s good for her. She would never tell anyone about what she heard.
I headed out into the office and I made sure to lock the door from behind, Aria is making it hard to help her, she is making it hard to care for her, she is making it hard for Luca to even listen to me.
"Luca:" I breathed out as I headed into the place, the blood was much worse than when I saw it. My eyes filled with tears as I rushed toward him and into the cage.
I sat beside him and his wolf found its place in my arms.
"You are precious Luca," I whispered, he has always been alone, I never thought I would say this but I didn’t want to let go of him, he needed help, he needed all the help he could get, he has Ares but there are parts of him he didn’t know about,
How can someone be all alone all of the time, I have even been alone just for some days and I almost lost my mind, he didn’t have anyone since he lost everything and everyone.
I mumbled a song my mother used to sing for me as he growled in pain, I can’t even imagine how he would be feeling.
Horus had passed and it was almost morning, I could see him turning back to his form, he didn’t look any good; he looked like he had been through hell, when his eyes opened, they met mine.
"You stayed," Luca whispered.
"I told you, I would." I breathed out, my eyes mistakenly found their place around his body and I looked away before I could see what he was hiding between his legs, I stared at him with a smile on my face.
Aria was nowhere in sight after he got dressed and I led him into his room.
"I am not going to leave Luca." I breathed out when he held my hand, his hands filled with injuries, his knees scarred with blood ns his back, it was covered with scratches, it was hard seeing him , it felt horrible seeing him .
I settled beside him.
"You don’t have to feel bad for me Olivia," Luca whispered. "I have been through worse." He spoke and I shook my head.
"It was horrible Luca, I thought it would be over soon but it was not, it felt like at some point, I could not get through to you." I breathed out, my eyes met his and I smiled when a tear slipped out of my eyes
"I heard everything you said to me," Luca said. "My brother, you talked about him." He asked and I nodded.
No wonder he didn’t want to come here, it just made it worse with the full moon, it felt like he recalled everything that he did, what he had done to him, I wanted to ask so badly what he did but I could not, I didn’t dare, I was scared to.
I helped Luca into the bathroom, even though he didn’t want my help when I headed out of the room to find Aria standing by the door.
She is never going to let it go, is she?
"Before you say a single thing, I want you to think about whether I need you to know that I don’t have the time for any of this." I breathed out, I was about to speak again when I saw Ares heading into the hallway.
"Ares can you show Aria around, she seems to be bored and can you tell one of the maids to make a meal for Luca, he is coming down with a cold." I lied.
I realized maybe when it did happen. they were not in the house to see, he was always alone, and he would get better before anyone says or knows anything about it.
I watched as he gave me a nod, and Aria was forced to leave with him, maybe that’s the most horrible lie anyone can give.
"Luca," I yelled when I walked into him naked, I looked away instantly, the image of his member still in my head when I shook my head softly.
"You saw all of it this morning." He spoke. I didn’t, I looked away before I saw most of it. "You can turn Olivia," Luca spoke again and my breath hitches, I turned to find him in nothing but briefs.
Luca took two strides toward me; his eyes were on mine when I found myself staring at his wounds.
"We need to take care of them."
"They would heal on their own- Luca they will leave a scar," I whispered cutting him off and he stared at me.
His eyes said it, he didn’t have to say the words, he wanted them to leave a scar, he wanted to remember this day. He wanted to remember the pain that he put me through, it was nothing, just a little wound and a bump on my head, just a little that can be taken care of, he didn’t have to worry. It didn’t have anything to do with it.
"Luca." I breathed out.
"I am fine." He finally said.
I stayed quiet even though the air between us was thickened with tension, Luca led us to the bed, he sat with his head resting on the headboard and he stared at me, his eyes filled with pain and his wounds told a thousand stories.
"Just let me take care of you Luca."
"You already have." He spoke.
"For my sake, please," I said again and he nodded, I can’t imagine the pain he always felt, how they never knew about what was going on, I found myself placing the ointment on his wounds, and I started to make it better, he didn’t give any reaction.
"You should hate me after what happened last night."
"I don’t." I breathed out.
"You are not a monster Luca, you tried your best not to hurt me and you didn’t, a monster would not do that, you didn’t ask for this, you didn’t ask to be , it was forced on you, you are good, better than many." I smiled.
Luca pulled his hand out and I found myself lying on his chest when I felt a tingling sensation on my neck, a sharp burning sensation, like someone was writing on me with a needle, like someone was trying to hurt me
When I pulled away from myself, standing up, I found myself standing in front of the mirror and Luca stared at me waiting for me to tell him what was wrong.
I touched the nape of my neck, and I flinched.
It was not an accident caused by him last night.
It was a mark, a mark that I have felt before.
My heart stopped as I stared at the mirror and my eyes filled with tears.
"What is wrong Olivia?" Luca asked when he moved closer to me and I moved away, my breath hitches again when I touched the mark, I don’t know how I felt, I don’t know if I wanted it to be true or not, I don’t know if I wanted this to be my new reality.
"Luca, what did you do?" I asked when I felt the mark again.
His bite, it felt more real as I touched it and I could feel myself reacting to it.
He marked me last night.
