Dylan's POV
I let go of Chase's shirt collar, pushing him into a chair, I stormed out of the restaurant amidst the protest of Myla, Ariana needs me now, those visions I just saw told me that Ariana was in some sort of trouble and I felt it too, my heart tightened painfully at the thought of her being brutalized by some thugs, right now, I don't need my human form to be able to find her, what I needed right now was Lien, my gaze scanned around to make sure that I was alone before letting Lien out and in a flash, I was at the alley where I had seen in my vision, my sharp gaze searched the alley but there was no trace of her, a scent hit my nostrils, and I followed the scent to a few centimeters away, my paws stepped on something slightly damp and it hit me that it was the scent that I was perceiving, I bent to inspect it, "blood, Ariana's blood" my heart constricted painfully and the air whooshed out from my lungs, wherever they took her to, I must find her, gosh, she must be so scared right now, "I'm coming Ariana, I'll find you, I promise" I just hope that I would be able to keep the promise I had just made to her, I followed her scent until all of a sudden, I stopped perceiving her, what was going on? Why can't I perceive her anymore, "oh! Moon goddess, this is the second time you've given me chance to love, please don't take away my second chance from me before it has even begun" all my life, I have never been this scared of losing someone, the thought of losing Ariana filled me with so much fear, "just one more chance and I'll keep you beside me all through our lives" I vowed vehemently, I could feel my wolf's pain at it's missing mate, it just kept groaning in agony, not ready to lose another mate, I gazed around where I stopped getting her scent, and I realized that I was in a mist, surrounded by thick fog which didn't help matters because it blurred my vision, but I couldn't stop now, I had to get to Ariana no matter what and her scent had led me to this place which means they must have past through here, I made to move forward and I felt a snap underneath my leg, at the same time, a sting on my foot, I must have stepped on something, I transformed into a human to pull out whatever it was that I had stepped on, yea, I had stepped on a fallen twig but that wasn't what had pierced me, I bent down and picked up the object that had pierced me, it was a penknife, I brought it closer to my vision and stared at it, a strange scent hit me faintly accompanied by a very familiar smell, Ariana, this penknife must be for her captor , which means,I could get to Ariana if I am able to trace whoever has this knife, I took in a deep breath, inhaling the smell of the knife, I quickly transformed into a werewolf and get to work.
I saw him seated outside a building as if guarding it, Ariana must be in there, I glanced around, there were at least three other men with him on guard, and I know there must be others too, even if there are thousands of men guarding where they have kept Ariana, I will battle with them all to get to her, I moved closer but stealthily, pounced then snap, I killed the first guard without making as much sound but coincidentally, the second guard turned just before I could hide the body, too late, his eyes widened in just a fraction of surprise and then he fired at me as I set my eyes on him, my next prey, I did a zigzag, he fired several shots but I easily evade it and in a flash, I got to him, in my human form but my hands were still a wolf, I easily dug my paw right into his heart and brought it out, he fell to the ground in a thud, I could smell the fear in the remaining guard, his eyes were wide as he watched me with the heart still in my hand, his knees buckled and he whimpered, I snarled at him, he glanced at the gun in his hand, confusion written all over him, weather to shoot or to escape for his dear life, "don't even think about it" I growled, he whimpered again as he threw his gun and took to his heels, falling and rising, but his run was no match for me, a werewolf, as one swift moment, I was standing in front of him, he gasped in fear and turned to take another way, again, I was standing in front of him, I walked slowly towards him, menacingly, my aim was to scare the wit of him, to scare him into confessing where they had held Ariana captive, I got close enough to wrap my fingers around his neck, raising him up slowly until his feet left the ground, I could feel him struggling to get his footings, "where is she?" I growled, his eyes were bulged and I knew I was choking him already, I let him go but rested my hand on his shoulder, walking behind him like a predator ready to pounce on its prey, I scoffed when I heard a slight sound, I looked down to see him peeing on himself, "pl...ple...please...l..l...let me go, please" he pleaded, I ran my hand round his neck in a threatening gesture, "if you don't tell me where she is right now, I'll reap your heart out, just like your friend over there" I snarled, I placed my hand on his chest and was satisfied when I felt him shudder, he kept on chanting, "don't rip my heart out, don't rip my heart out"
"So tell me where she is, how dare you kidnap her in the first place, I'm going to punish you for that but first, tell me where she is then I'll consider sparing your life"
"She's there, she's right there, please spare me" he stuttered, pointing towards a room, a few metres away, I held his hand and twisted it until I heard the crack of his bones, he screamed in pain, "that's for daring to hurt her" I let him go and made to move, I turned and watched him with my wolf's molten colored eyes, "if I find out you lied to me about her whereabouts, I'll surely find you and kill you" with my threat hanging in the air, I ran out, the entrance was painted in such an odd color but Ariana is at the other end of it, I could feel her presence already, I moved forward and felt a ring in my ears as I felt excruciating pain right on my chest, I screamed as pains zapped through my veins, it felt as if my whole body has been lit on fire, I don't understand what was happening, only a wolfsbane was capable of causing a werewolf this kind of pain, but there wasn't any wolfsbane here, my eyes were seeing stars already as I struggled to keep them opened, I had to reach Ariana no matter what, I coughed and felt the metallic taste of blood on my tongue as I staggered on, "I must get to Ariana"
Eric's POV
From my hidden position, I watched as Dylan writhed in pain, I had been shell shocked when he showed up here, how had he managed to locate this place amazed me a great deal, he is indeed a man to be wary of, he had taken down three armed guards at a stretch, the look on his face ferocious and merciless, I shivered as I remembered how he had ripped out the heart of a guard, he indeed lives up to his reputation of being ruthless in the business world, it seemed that he is ruthless even in his personal life, one would have to think twice before going against him, and so I had immediately opted for plan B when I saw him handling the guards, I had made a spell using wolfsbane, no werewolf is capable of taking such pain, my brow furrowed and I smirked when I heard him screamed in pain, "let me see how long you can endure this pain Mr. Lover" I whispered, waiting for the moment he would turn tail and runoff.
