Jacen’s POV:
“Get your hands off my neck, idiot. I can kill you in a flash of seconds. Back off now,” Sydney warned me. I stepped back, by keeping all the anger inside me. We are so close to escaping from hell. But what’s the use of running away without Sydney. That’s not going to happen even in the parallel universe.
“So, you are not going to give her body back,” I muttered.
“Nope. Never.” she smiled at me.
“Then this will have to do to get Sydney back,” I murmured and picked up the stake. We killed Dorothy and Pamela. They don’t get a chance to kill us with this stake. Maybe I could kill myself. I know I sound crazy. But watch me.
“What are you doing, bro? Put the stake down.” Noah ordered me. I can see the fear on his face. Right now, he would have known that I’m going to do something which harms my life.
I turned back to face Sydney. To face that demon who’s staying in my girlfriend’s body. “I know you can hear me, baby. I know you are too weak to fight. But this is the right time you should have your hope with you. You can do it. Fight with her. This body belongs to you. If you can’t do this now, I’m going to kill myself.” I explained.
“No, Jacen. Stop your insane plan.” Kassidy shouted and tried to step forward.
“You are not doing it. We have no idea whether or not Sydney can hear us.” Lydia said, stepping one foot forward.
“I can’t lose you, bro. This is risky. This is not as simple as it seems.” Noah warned me.
“You can’t lose your life forever. We can think of another plan. Please, drop the stake.” Amelia pleaded.
“She’s right. We will find a way to save Sapphire. But if you kill yourself now, then it will haunt her life till she dies.” Mason told me. I don’t think there’s any other way to save her. That’s bullshit. Nobody came up with any ideas. I’m surely thinking this is going to work. I hope it works, even after I died. I don’t care about that. I can sacrifice myself for her. If it means to happen, then we both get life to live together. If not, it’s my fate.
I kept the stake right in my heart. It is one inch away from my chest. I will drive inside at any moment. I looked at Sydney to see her reaction. She doesn’t try to stop me or laugh. That demon doesn’t laugh. But I can see some tears forming in my eyes. She can fight the demon if I did this.
I can hear all my friend’s voices who are trying to stop me. But what I said is nothing. Nothing. Everyone thought I was waiting for Sydney to come back. They thought I wouldn’t do this. And then I stabbed myself.
“Noooooo,” I heard all the screams coming from the directions where my friends are all standing. Before they could reach me, Sydney ran over screaming at the top of her lungs.

Sydney’s POV:
The moment Jacen picked the Stake in the ground, I tried to scream, run towards him or throw the stake away. But my body isn’t in my control. I can see everything clearly. I can see what I did to Lilith. I can hear my own rough voice. But I couldn’t do anything to fight it. She’s so powerful than me. I want to cry but I couldn’t. Then I heard three-voice in my mind excluding mine. One is those demons and the others are my grandparents. No matter what decision I took, their souls came to save me. I can’t see them. But I can feel them. They are in my mind fighting against the demons. She’s still not ready to give my body back and, like Jacen said, ‘I’m too weak to fight’. I never thought I would lose my hope inside me at the time when I needed it most. I decided to give up. She can take my body and be the Queen of hell. I will soon be separated from my own body. I gave up. But my grandparents fought for me.
With their help, I gained my body back. They are not the only reason. Jacen is the reason. I felt like I was stabbed when the moment he drives the stake through his heart. I felt so powerless when I couldn’t do anything about it. Sometimes, we gain all the hope we lost for the one person we love the most. For me, it’s Jacen. I don’t know how I got my body back. But it did. By that time, there’s no use in it. Jacen already stabbed himself.
“Nooo, nooo, nooo. Why did you do that, Jacen? I would have fought the demon by myself. Why did you do this to yourself? How can I live my life without you? How can I? Please don’t leave me,” I screamed and cried louder. He doesn’t have the strength to respond. I can see he’s vein’s turning black. The end is coming. He’s dying for me. Or I can say because of me. He helped me overcome that demon, but now I lost someone so close to me. I can only live with this guilt for the rest of my life.
The last face he saw is my face. The last thing I did was scream. Louder than anyone. Louder than anything. It was so powerful that the whole Hell could hear it.
“ NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,”
That’s when I remembered something. The power is still inside me. I would have got the demon’s soul out of my body. But the power to kill anyone or save anyone is still inside me. Hereafter, there’s no one left who could give troubles in my life. All the power Lilith had been inside me. I got everything. Both royal flame and the fire. I can bring Jacen back. I can do anything with all the power I got inside me. As there’s no one left to own the hell right now, it belongs to me.
And I can make this hell a better place by being a Queen. But first…
