Jacen’s POV:
“Pamela’s unconscious. I hope Sydney finishes her job as soon as she can.” I muttered to myself. My brother and Amelia are taking care of Mason and Phoebe while Kassidy, Lydia, Jade and I are watching Pamela. I’m worried about my girlfriend. I don’t know how she’s managing her time with Dorothy. What if that cunning bitch found out that it’s not Pamela but Sydney? The worst-case scenario.
“Oh, god! She’s waking up.” Kassidy frowned.
“We can manage her. She’s tied up. She can’t escape no matter how much she tries.” I assured her.
“Don’t forget that Iam here. I can beat and knock her out again.”
“I already told you not to do that, Jade. That’s my girlfriend’s body. I don’t want you to harm her body.” I scowled.
“Whatever. Don’t ask me if she makes a problem again. My job is done here. I will meet you all tomorrow. Don’t forget the deal or you can’t deal with the consequences. You know what I mean,” Jade warned me and slammed the door.
“Why did Sydney make a deal with this demon? I hate the way she acts. I hate whatever she does.” Kassidy complained, getting irritated by the thought of those demons faces. They may look sexy as hell, but don’t get my attention or my brother’s attention. We got a lot of things to think about and worry about. There’s no place in our mind for these two demon girls.
“Get me out of this rope. What are you all planning to do? Give me back my body.” I heard Sydney’s voice again. Pamela’s awake.
“We are not letting you out. Shut up and stay here till Sydney comes back.” I ordered her.
“I will be out of this room eventually. Then Dorothy and the Queen will take care of the rest. Why waste your time by locking me up?” the corner of her mouth turned on.
I grinned. “Do you think I will let you out easily? Iam going to erase your memory and replace it with whatever the fuck I want. You can’t do anything, Aunt. Do you?” I bent down next to her. She looked defeated. There’s a long silence. She muttered something barely audible.
“What did you say?”
“You can compel me, but what can you do if I hurt myself? Can you bear it?” she smiled and used her magic to cut the rope just like that. Her hand got loosened from the rope. Within the blink of our eye, she grabbed a knife near a table. Which idiot kept the knife near her?
“Take a step. I will cut my wrist. To be exact, Sydney’s wrist. Do you want me to do that?” she blackmailed us. We all stood in the place without taking a single step.
“Please don’t do that. I won’t compel you. Just don’t hurt her.” I begged her without thinking about my dignity. She can’t blackmail by taking Sydney’s life. We did a bad thing by executing this idea.
“Why the hell are you begging her?” Kassidy uttered.
“What am I supposed to do? Goddamn, I should have not let Jade leave this door. She was really helpful.”
“Drop the knife, Pamela. Don’t you dare think of hurting her?” Lydia fires at her and stepped forward in her temper. In response, Pamela cuts her wrist. Blood started to pour from her wrist. She isn’t ready to stop at that action. She’s about to cut deeper to cause more injury.
“Nooo. Damn it.” I shouted and tried to get the knife out of her hands. She struggled with my grip and screamed.
“We will get everyone’s attention if she screams like that,” Kassidy said, trying to get hold of her injured hands. How can she be determined to kill her? I was the one who killed her. She can rather show her anger towards me than on my girlfriend.
“Dorothy’s going to find me soon. I thought I could kill you tomorrow. But you crossed your limit in a day.” Pamela growled in Sydney’s voice. I never have seen Sydney’s psychotic behaviour.
“You crossed the limit when you tried to kill Sydney in our house and backstabbed Lydia in the academy. What I have done is not worse than your action.” I said, pulling both her hands backwards and Lydia came to tie it up again.
“She cut her wrist. How can you tie her up again?” Kassidy asked.
“We got no other choice. We can treat Sydney’s body later.” Lydia sternly said and the front door opened without a warning.
“What’s happening here? Who screamed?” Amelia’s face popped in front of the door.
“It’s Pamela. She’s trying to hurt herself.”

Sydney’s POV:
“This is where the scream is coming. Who would have screamed so loud like this?” Dorothy wondered and walked towards our guest room with curiosity. That’s it. I was so close to finding out that hall of mirrors. But at last my friends failed to control Pamela. I bit my nail nervously, walking behind Dorothy.
When we reached the room. Amelia, Noah and Jacen are standing at the entrance. What must have happened here?
“I heard a scream. What are you all doing? Can’t you stay silent for a day?” Dorothy demanded the answer from them. I tried to have a stern and hateful look on my face. My eyes blazed through my friends.
“Nothing’s happening here. Do your goddamn job of sabotaging everyone’s life. That’s what you do every single day.” Lydia yells at her coming out of the room. Jacen sneaked inside again. He doesn’t even look at me. He has an anxious look on his face.
“Yeah, I suffocate everyone’s life. Do you want to know how I do it?” Dorothy furiously said. I can see she wants to harm Lydia right at the moment for talking disrespectfully. Before she can do anything unexpected and unforgivable, I need to act fast. Right now, Iam Pamela. The person who has vengeance on everyone related to Sydney. I don’t have an idea what Pamela would have done at this moment. But I slapped Lydia before Dorothy does something to her. I slapped her with force. She fell hard on the floor. There’s a shocked expression on my friend’s face. Iam sorry, Aunt. I need to act like the person Iam impersonating. Finally, what Dorothy said came true. Iam an imposter. Yes, Iam. Iam impersonating Pamela to uncover their plan.
