Jacen’s POV:
“I will not surrender, no matter what. Do whatever you can. I’m not giving up,” Lilith boldly told. But she doesn’t use the name Sydney. It’s clearly not my Sydney.
“If that’s your decision, then I can gladly proceed to the further process,” Sydney said, lifting her hands. This time I didn’t see the blue flame. Instead, her palms observed all the power from Lilith. the flame slowly and steadily travelled from Lilith to Sydney. Sydney doesn’t have any powers to observe other powers.
“What the hell is happening? What is she doing? Answer me,” I shouted at Lydia. She must have to know the answer.
“I don’t know. I had never seen anything like this in my whole life. Sydney’s born in a royal family. But I don’t think if she knows to steal someone’s power. Whoever’s controlling her must be stronger and must have lived for many centuries. We did a big mistake by finding a way to open this door. Now, I don’t even have my powers to help her.” Lydia complained, looking hopeless. We are standing ten feet away from Sydney and can’t do anything to get the soul out of Sydney’s body.
Suddenly, Lilith started screaming so loud. She doesn’t fight back. Her skin started turning green. All of our jaws dropped. Lilith’s whole body started turning green to its true self. There’s no glamour to show her young and beautiful. Her whole appearance is awful.
“Don’t worry. I’m not going to kill you. You won’t feel the pain of being trapped in a mirror for a century if I killed you in a minute. You deserve to live without your powers for eternity.” Sydney said. Lilith started running. She tried to cover her face with her dress to hide her ugly physical appearance. Promptly, she vanished from all our sights.
When Sydney turned back victoriously, I didn’t even recognize her. This isn’t here. Her eyes are in a shade of blue and orange. The flame in her hands is in a mixture of blue and orange. She gave a burst of evil laughter.
“It’s done. Lilith won’t be our problem ever again. But how are we going to get Sydney back?” Kassidy said.
“You stole all powers belonged to Lydia. Please, get out of Sydney’s body.” Noah came forward and begged her. Sydney looked at us with no recognition and emotions.
“You are all still here. Get out of my sight or I will kill you. This body belongs to me. There’s no other person who can stop me. Finally, I can rule this place. Hell belongs to me. I’m the Queen.” she said as her eyes blazed through all of us.
“No. Leave her body. You can’t rule hell by possessing her body.” Lydia demanded. Sydney gave a burst of laughter again.
“Tell me you are joking. I’m a mixture of a whole lot of demons. That’s what makes me powerful. I may have been trapped inside a small mirror for a century. But this girl voluntarily came here to break the mirror. Now, things can’t go back to the way it was. I can rule hell in this body. I got all the power I wanted. You can’t stop me. If someone can stop me, then it will be that little girl. But she is too weak to fight for gaining back her body.”
“Get the hell out of her body. We won’t stop until we get her back.” Lydia fires at her. At the same time, Kassidy blasted her power, which exactly looks like lightning.
“Are you thinking you are stronger than me? Silly girl. I own this girl’s power and Lilith’s power. You don’t know how much stronger Iam.” Sydney said, fighting back by blasting a lot of blue and orange flame. The curtains and the carpet on the floor got caught in a fire. The fire spread around everywhere. But Sydney didn’t get affected by it.
“Let’s get out of here.” Amelia panicked, and we ran the hell out of the ground floor. Sydney didn’t stop following us. She’s coming behind us. To kill us. This is the last scenario I ever imagined it to happen.
We are back on the same floor where Dorothy’s lifeless body and the other guard’s body are lying on the floor.
“We can’t hide forever. How are we going to get Sydney back? Her soul is still inside her body? She needs to fight back.” I told others.
“There’s nothing we can do. Whoever made a problem with us is dead and gone forever. Now, it’s only us against Sydney. I don’t ever know that demons name.” Kassidy said, keeping her hands on her head.
“Here you are. Did you all stop hiding? I promise you all that death won’t be so painful.” She gave an assurance. Suddenly, I had thought of Jade and Zissa. Where the hell are they? They helped us all this time. Now, how are we supposed to find them?
“Sydney, I know you can hear me. Fight her. All the struggle you had in your life can be for nothing if you let this demon win.” Lydia took small steps and casually spoke to her.
“Okay. Stop it. It’s ridiculous. You can’t get my soul out of her body by calling or talking with her. It’s clearly not going to work.” Sydney said. That demon is telling lies. Sydney can hear us. She needs us to encourage her. That’s the only way we get her back.
“Sydney, do you remember the time when you found out your parents? You finally got what you wanted. It was all worth the struggle. Now, Lilith is gone. Dorothy is dead. We are closer to getting what we wanted. If you can fight her, everything will go back to normal. You are the one who taught me to have hope. Now, I’m telling you to have hope. You can do this. A bright future is waiting for you. Fight back, baby,” I told her, slowly stepping towards her. She was looking at me with tears in her eyes. Is it working?
“Um... she can’t fight back. I already told you. You all need to give up. If you give up trying to get her body, I will help you all to go back to your world. You all can live without this one girl. I will give you whatever you wanted. Just let me have this body.” Sydney rolled her eyes at first and said everything, folding her arms against her chest.
