Author's POV
"The presentation is awesome Mr.Erish! We love to cooperate with you on this new project."
"Thank you, Mr. Hel." Erish shakes hands with him while all others members line by line take a chance to talk with him.
He thought he could come back after this 48 hours trip but who knows that he got more chances to bring the two more projects with him.
However, he wanted to go back soon. As this is his last meeting here. But Mr.Hel requests him to attend the party which is organized by them for their latest product seeing success.
"Alright, Mr.Erish! Let's meet at the party!"
"Yeah Sure!" Eric gave a professional smile and finally left the conference room.
After coming first, he checked on his phone which was silent because of the meeting.
He saw many calls from the home on his number.
"Angela…" He thought about her and called the landline number.
"Hello, What happened?" He asked coldly.
"Sir, Madam health suddenly got unwell and she asked for you but we made up a story and called the doctor to check up. She got normal gastric and is now sleeping taking the medicine."
Eric at first felt panicked to hear about her health but after listening last words he felt relaxed.
"Alright, take care of her, and don't let her know about me!"
"Yes Sir!"
He disconnected the call and reviewed the footage a few hours ago.
He saw the maid running from Angela's room while coming with another maid a few moments later and then half an hour later the doctor came and gave her medicine to let Angela feed it.
He felt relaxed that she was okay. And he made up his mind that after attending the party he will take the first flight to go back.
Angela's POV
Everything was done as I planned. I feel bad to make the staff worried because of me. But this is the only way I can know if Eric is in the home or not.
And if they were lying to me, it should be ordered by Eric to them, or else they would never lie to me.
He doesn't want me to know about his absence because I'll try to escape from here.
But still, I got the truth. Now! I need to be careful with my words and actions. More importantly, I don't have his arrival day, so I need to be fast to do all the tasks as planned to leave from here safely without getting caught by any chance like last time.
I know, he should be well prepared if he left the house like this for this long.
He should set up big security to not let me come out from his den.
After my last unsuccessful escape. I'll move this time more carefully. This time I will not bring myself to be caught by any means. And for that, I need to first check the setup. I can't lose this time.
So, further plan, be moved tomorrow.
In The Morning
"Madam, you can't go outside! As you know Sir is not going to allow it!" The maid looked at Angela with a concerned gaze. As Angela wanted to walk in the home garden. While she can't even be allowed to leave her own room.
However, Angela didn't go to let her plan run without trying.
"But I am feeling suffocated here and it makes me feel more uncomfortable. I need some fresh air to breathe. I'm not a criminal who can't leave anywhere!" Angela tried to show a weak personality.
The maid felt bad for her and told her, she will first ask Eric.
Angela immediately agreed with her.
"Alright! I'll wait."
The maid gave a warm smile and left the room to call Eric.
Angela sighed in relief. But she doesn't know if her health trick is going to work or not. She can't get high hopes with this plan.
Maid went to the landline phone and called Eric's number which he gave before leaving.
"Hello." Eric's voice immediately comes from another side.
"H-Hello Sir!" She was scared to ask about Angela's demand but she felt at least she could try.
"What happened?" Eric's cold voice came from another side. Only to make the maid shiver in her place.
"Sir…actually…I call because Madam wanted to walk in the garden as she doesn't feel too well and needs some fresh air." Maid's voice hesitates all the time while Eric takes a few minutes before answering him.
"She can walk outside but only for one hour, not more than that, and remember she will not be left alone in any way. One of you always followed her outside and let her come inside as soon as times up!"
Maid felt happy at least he didn't disagree.
"Alright Sir, we will do as you said!" Maid responded. And Eric cut the call.
Maid went back to Angela's room and saw her stop in front of the window looking at the big sky.
The maid felt too bad to see her locked like this by her own husband who loved her so much. Angela is like a poor soul to every staff member in the mansion. They feel sorry for her but at the same time combined with her. Because if she escapes they can't let their family survive.
"Madam…" Her voice Attracted Angela's eyes.
"Did you talk to him?" Angela's voice showed she didn't get too much hope from him. Because she thinks he will not let her go outside even if he was here.
"Sir said 'Yes' Mam."
"What?" Angela's eyes enlarged with disbelief.
"A-Are you sure?" Angela asked twice.
"Yes, Madam! Sir, agree for you to go and walk in the garden but it's only for an hour! And you can't go alone!"
The maid explained everything in a lower tone but it didn't discourage Angela's happiness.
"It's alright! I agree with everything! Let's go now…I want to walk!" Angela said with a big wide smile on her face.
The maid smiled back to see her look happy after a long time. Or else from the day she came back all she was upset or cried.
Angela never thought she finally got her chance. But God also supported her, she felt that.
