Angela's POV
"Sorry to make you worry. I just forgot to call." Eric is still staring at me while all I felt was anger to see him. After last night's incident, I don't want to see him anymore. And I was glad enough not to watch him, come to the room the whole day but now he is here with my phone.
I know all he is worried about is that my family friends didn't suspect anything. This thought made me angrier.
"It's alright! But at least tell me where you are right now? I mean at least share your location! It has already been a few days since you left. I'm worried, even though I could hear you but still, my sense told me something is not right!" Yes, you are right Ella! I'm not well! I need help! but I can't tell you anything in Eric's presence.
I'm sorry, I can't involve you right now. I need to find myself to escape from here. Without getting anyone worried.
After leaving this hell, only then can I tell you everything.
"No, I'm fine! Don't think too much! I'll share information when I'm ready!" I lied to her only hearing her sigh on the other side.
"Gosh! You are too stubborn!" She announced with little irritation and all I could feel was helplessness. I wish I could tell her that It's not my stubbornness. But my compulsion.
"Alright, I need to go back… let's talk later..." I tried to sound relaxed.
"Okay bye and take care of yourself…" Ella's voice turned gentle while I responded in 'yes' and finally disconnected the call.
Eric's sights were always on me. While I just feel frustrated to see him.
"Give me the phone!" He forwarded his hand to get the phone back.
I glared at him hatefully and gave him the phone. As spouted with resentment," Eric, I had seen enough of your drama. Now, I can't take your mad action anymore!"
"What do you mean?" His brows raised.
"I'm asking you last time to let me go! I don't want you! How many more days are you going to be blind to see my hatred for you…these things only make me hate you more than before…I don't need your explanation! Because now it does not matter to me…" I felt tired of his game. I don't understand why the hell he is doing all this when he knows it can not change our current situation.
Eric's eyes turned darker, as I could see he is angry now to hear me.
But what not I thought that next later he held my wrist and moved faster towards the door only to make me drag with him.
"Eric, what the hell are you doing?"
"Is last night's humiliation not enough!" I shouted with outrage and tried to release myself from his grips but he ignored me and moved at a light-speed only to go towards the stairs while I needed to match his fast movement so as not to fall between the big stairs.
I don't know what he is trying to do now.
He takes me to the living area.
While I'm still trying to release his hands.
"Eric, leave my hand!" I yelled but he didn't flinch and stopped one of the maids who looked nervous to see his action.
"Bring all the staff here in ten minutes!" He ordered and the maid immediately moved to collect all the staff in one place, the living area.
Eric looked at everyone and finally released my hand as turned to look into my eyes and asked.
"Angela, do you want to leave this mansion?"
"Yes!" I immediately responded with a cold voice.
Eric nodded and moved to glance at the servants for a few seconds while suddenly raising a question in a sharp tone," Which two-person needs to guard Angela's room and mansion at night."
When did he put a guard on me? I felt speechless.
While suddenly two young men come out from the crowd.
"Boss, it's our duty!" One of them said with a shivered voice.
"You both Fired!"
"You don't need to come anymore! Get the hell out of here!" He ordered with a full authority voice. While I felt in chaos.
"Boss! Please don't fire us!" Both men knelt down while their hands pressed together begging.
Eric didn't glance at them. While he looked around and announced.
"I will not accept any mistake, remember that!"
Everyone's body shuddered while I couldn't help but feel bad for both staffs and said to Eric, "Don't do that to them! They are just…"
"Angela, didn't I warn you? If you try to escape from the mansion. I'll be dismissed all of them." He glanced at me with seriousness while all I felt guilty to realize they fired because of me. On the other side, anger erupted in my whole heart for him.
"You are turning heartless, Eric!" I shouted with anger.
"You can think whatever! But remember that if you try to escape again. They all are going to be turned blacklisted by me!"
His eyes gave me a gesture that he is serious about whatever he is saying while I couldn't take this thing anymore and immediately turned back to step towards the stairs. Without looking back at him.
"You are pathetic Eric!" I mumbled between my heavy breath while closing my room behind me.
My tears finally get their place again while I just weakly let them pour out.
"Why?"
"Why?"
"Why can't he let me go? Why is he making me suffer all this? Why did he humiliate me? Why can't he just accept my rejection? Don't I have my feelings? Can't I choose what I want? Why does he still want to ruin my life like this just for his own selfishness?"
"Why?"
"Why is he making me despise him, loathe him? When my heart doesn't want to involve him anyway.
Didn't he always tell me he loved me? Then how his love turned out to be this selfish.
Why can't he silently separate from me?
