Autho's POV
"Driver, Let's go!" Eric ordered as soon as he got in the car's back seat. His whole body was filled with guilt and regret but still, he can't go back now.
"Yes Sir." The driver nodded immediately and started the car's engine.
Eric's red eyes moved to look at the house with deep regard and his stares stopped on Angela's bedroom windows. Only to feel hurt around his chest.
"I'm Sorry…"
"Be good until I get back…" He mumbled in a lower and broken tone only to listen to him.
While the car started moved on from the house only to make his heart turn heavily. His eyes filled with pain to see himself like this.
He finally bent toward the car seat and adjusted himself only to close his eyes and remember her last words before he came out of her room.
'One day you will suffer Eric. Whatever you are doing with me. You will be punished by God!'
The corner of his eyes got tears remembering that line again and again.
He had no idea that he would make Angela so hurtful that she would eventually have to say such things to him!
It was only when he was lost in these bitter memories that a call came and broke his thought.
He opened his closed eyes immediately the next moment and his hands went to the pocket of his jacket, to take out his phone.
As soon as he takes out the phone, his eyes go to the number shown on the screen which belonged to Jack. He immediately picks up the phone by pressing the green button. And pressed it to his ear.
"Hello."
"Hello, Boss! I have already completed all the formalities and am now waiting for you at the airport gate." Jack announced from the other side.
"Alright! I'm already in the car." After giving a response, he disconnected the call and again looked outside from the window. They are already far away from home.
He glanced back at his phone and next, he pressed some phone buttons only to show his home inside footage on his phone.
He inserts cameras to check on Angela when he is going to stay far from her. The cameras are placed everywhere except in any room. So, he can't watch her directly but yes, he can see her move, if she gets out from there by any chance.
He called the best camera placement people and let him do it this afternoon as soon as he got a call from Jack to go 'H City'.
He can see that everything is normal there. Workers worked their duty while the maid went to Angela's room with the dinner meal.
'I hope everything will be fine until I come back.' He whispered in his mind while the car stopped in front of the airport.
"Sir, we are here!" Only then did Eric's eyes raise to watch the big airport in front of him. He doesn't know why but suddenly he felt hesitant to move on. And left Angela alone. His six senses tell him he needs to go back home. But he couldn't, so he looked at the phone footage to assure himself that everything was good there and he could see the maid come out with empty plates in her hand from Angela's room. Seeing that he sighed in relief and came out of the car.
"Boss!" Jack's voice attracts his attention the next moment who comes to drop him.
"Is everything ready?" He asked with a straight face.
"Yes! Boss!" Jack responded in a professional tone.
"Alright, let's go then!" He moved towards the private airport entrance where only the big tycoon's people can walk. Without any reporters or media appearances.
The plane was already ready for him. So, before stepping on the plane stairs. He instructed Jack to handle everything in the office and watch over his parents in his absence. For which Jack gave his words to him. Only then did he go to the plane.
Angela looked at the big dark sky in silence and remembered every single harsh word and action Eric and she both said and did to each other in less than a week.
This all made her feel more empty inside her while she thought she can't run if things are going to stay like this.

Three days later
"Madam, your breakfast!" The maid gave a small smile while she bent to put the breakfast tray on the table.
Angela was busy looking at the view outside from the window while she felt something was changing in the mansion these days. But what she didn't realize until now. And to her surprise, Eric again stops coming to her room after their last conversation.
He left and didn't come back to watch her, not even where she fell asleep in the night. This is giving her a big suspicion that he is not in the home, nowadays. But to make this assumption sure, she needs to ask the maid first.
"Lara!" She called the maid's name to attract her attention from food to her.
"Yes, Mam!" She gave a big smile to her and waited patiently to complete her words.
"Lara, Is Eric busy nowadays? I didn't see him coming to my room!" She can't ask her while a small fake smile plasters on her face all the time questioning.
On the other side, hearing her question, the maid turned a little hesitant for a moment. As she remembered Eric's warning. But soon replied to Angela's question with a big smile.
"Yes, Madam! Sir is busy with office work. He is doing his work in the study room nowadays and stays there the whole time " Hearing her Angela felt a little disappointed.
Her guess turned out to be wrong. She thought that.
"Alright! I just asked out of curiosity!" She tried to show a bright smile while Maid also plastered the fake smile with uncertainty.
"I am going now. You enjoy your meal madam." Her voice is a little nervous as she doesn't want to stay longer with Angela. While it's only going to be hard for her to pretend in front of Angela. And she can't let her know that Eric is not in the mansion.
Angela nodded and watched her go outside the room before she locked it.
