Eric's POV
"I don't know why whenever I heard her talking about leaving me, I could not restrain myself but felt anger and did something, again and again, to make her upset."
"It's not me! But my love makes me do that!"
After what I did and after Angela went back to her room, I couldn't help but drive out of the house and go to the ocean.
The place where she broke up with me. The place where we both separated. I could freshly remember every single second of that evil night when I lost my Angela. She started to hate me.
I don't know what to do anymore! I don't know what is right or wrong. I felt like a fool who can't make anyone happy. Everyone is upset because of me.
I grabbed the alcohol bottle which I took with me. Because this is the only thing that cools my burning chest right now. I started drinking like this is the only calm zone which makes me feel less pain. This makes me feel less regretful and I lose my bad memories with Angela.

Two Days Later
For the past two days, the whole mansion was filled with a big silence. Eric and Angela didn't interact with each other at all.
As Eric stopped going to see Angela. While Angela is still feeling hostility toward Eric.
So, whenever he got a call from Angela's phone. He asks the maid to look after Angela until the call ends.
Angela didn't do anything suspicious these days, so Eric didn't suspect anything. And let his guard down a little.
"Good afternoon, Boss!" Jack's voice comes from another side of the phone.
"Yes, Jack," Eric responded in a calm tone as he went towards his leather chair.
He was spending his time for these last two days in the study room and bar room. He forgot he has his room also.
Some business files he needs to sign, so Jack sends the file from the driver's hands to him for the last few days and Eric makes himself busy with those files.
"Boss, the meeting, which was postponed because of the bad weather in 'H City' last time. Now the company's directors decided to do that meeting the next day!"
"So boss, you need to take a flight today urgently. Or we will miss this big chance to make our new project established there!"
Eric now understands the business world very well. And he knew Jack's words were right. If they want to expand their business in 'H City'. They need to attend this meeting and settle the deal with other big companies there. And this is the best opportunity for them.
"Alright, then arrange the private plane for the evening. I'll leave the mansion one hour before the flight!"
"Alright Boss! I'll arrange everything!"
Eric disconnects the call.
While he thinks deeply about something and then dialed some numbers on his phone before instructing them on something.
Suddenly, someone knocked on his study room door.
"Come in." He ordered.
While the door immediately opens and one servant comes with some fruits in the trays.
"Good afternoon Sir, this is your fruit!" He bent to serve the fruits plate on the table.
Eric looked at him and after thinking deeply ordered him to bring the maids which take care of Angela's needs or went to her room.
The servant immediately understood and did that after leaving the room.
A few minutes later four maids came into the study room while Eric looked at them with a serious gaze without showing any emotion.
"I called you all for one purpose to know that I'll not be in the mansion for two days. I need to go out for business purposes. It means I'll not be here to watch Angela and you all need to be more watchful with her. I don't want any mistakes from all of you. Understood!"
The whole maids nodded in unity.
"One last thing, Don't let Angela know about my absence by any chance. You need to lie to her if she by any chance asks about me. Don't let her figure it out, I'm not home!"
"Y-Yes Sir!" They all nodded in one go while Eric ordered them to leave.
He did his last task to be sure about Angela's security.
In The Evening
"Is everything packed?" Eric asked one of the maids whom he ordered to pack his luggage and important files.
"Y-Yes Sir. I already sent the bag to the driver."
Eric nodded.
"You can leave now!" The maid immediately left his room.
As Time gets closer to his flight. He felt a little bit hesitant to leave Angela alone in the servants' eyes. But he had no choice. He needs to leave, however, at least he can meet her before departure from the mansion. Thinking this, his heart turned warmer.
After the last two days, finally, he could see her.
But when he went to her bedroom, she coldly welcomed him and asked, "What does he want more now?"
"Angela, I just want to see you…can't I do that?" Eric's eyes looked at her with a hurtful gaze.
Angela chuckled bitterly, feeling he was joking with her. She is the one who should feel hurt then why he is showing hurtful expressions.
"You…you only wanted to see me? Didn't you lock me up here already for that?" Her words were filled with mocking.
Eric's eyelashes flickered while felt speechless as he knew Angela's words were right and the way he made her stay with him without her approval was completely wrong.
"Angela, if you are ready to listen to my explanation, I'll not make you stay! I promise!" Eric hopefully looked at her. As all he wanted to hear was 'yes' from her mouth one time.
However, Angela smirks and shakes her head with angry stares.
"No! I'll never let you explain yourself, Eric! Do you think, hearing your explanation made me forget your and your family's fraud? Or is Your brother cheating on me? No. It can't happen, Eric. You all are just selfish people and I don't want to do anything to your family anymore."
Eric's heart broke again to hear her while Angela's eyes turned red.
"Moreover, you can not use those poor staff to let me stay here for a long time. Remember that! One day you will suffer Eric. Whatever you are doing with me. You will be punished by God!"
Eric's hands clenched while he felt his heart dug by her.
He felt weak at this moment and left the room immediately making her alone again.
On the other side, Angela wiped her tears and coldly stared at his back until he vanished from her room.
