We both with Alan and Ivan were sitting in the living room on the sofa in a circle. Roman and Dimitri were playing beside us unbothered.
For the past 2 hours, we were planning to make that bitch apologize to Flora but couldn't agree with any plan we make. I was trying to remember my favourite plans from movies I saw but at the right time, nothing came to my mind.
Penelope's plan has blown my mind, I immediately said I didn't like it.
"It's the best idea, Trust me," she said very confidently.
"No...No let's not do that," I said, looking at them as I shook my head. They were looking at me with a frown.
"This...is the best idea that I've come up with," she said with a frown on her face.
"Yes, this is the best idea Ness," Alan said, fully supporting Penelope's idea.
"No! This is the worst idea," I said.
"That was a brilliant idea," Ivan said nodding his head at Penelope.
"No No have you guys lost it, she may get hurt if we do this," I said,
"Trust me, it's the best Idea she has to suffer for treating Flora like that," Said Ivan to me,
"But…" I was cut off by the same irritating high heels sounds, we all stood up and walked to the middle of the living room where Nikolai and That bitch were walking. Her hand was around Nikolai's arm like a snake as they walked downstairs. She was saying something to him, but I can clearly see that he wasn't paying attention to whatever she was talking about.

"She's my girlfriend" I was shocked and also surprised when he said it. I don't know why I was both shocked and surprised, but something in me had a pang of pain, I can't explain why but it did hurt. Maybe because of that bitch, maybe I was hurt because of his choice. I have a gut feeling that something is wrong with this bitch she gives me a weird feeling. I might be worried that a guy like him is choosing a bitch like her.
Yes, maybe that is why I feel like this. I convinced myself, but the subconscious doesn't agree with it and I let it be.
I felt someone's gaze on me which made me look at a person and I was met with a pair of intense blue eyes staring at my face like they were memorizing every single expression I make and it made me gulp and look away from them. My gaze fell on that bitch; I heard her name was Christina. I think Nikolai said it, she was smiling widely and staring at Nikolai and something in me wanted to slap her to make her look somewhere else. I gritted my teeth, and I can feel my fists clenching into tight balls at my side subconsciously and I have no idea why.
I tried to calm myself, and I glazed at Nikolai, he was watching me intensely. I watched the corner of his lip move upward into a smirk and I don't understand why he was smirking at me now.
I gazed at him with a furrowed expression on my face while he placed his hand on her waist and led her to his room.
Penelope with Alan, Ivan and me had walked back to the place where we sat before. No one spoke anything, and I can clearly see confusion, anger, and helplessness on their faces.
I sighed and stood up from the couch, "I think we shouldn't do anything now after knowing who she is to Nikolai," I said and walked from there with Roman and Dimitri with me.
We walked to my room. After we entered inside Roman asked me "Will you play with me?" with his innocent face.
I smiled and said, "Why not, Come let's play!."
This made him smile wider. We played with his toys for a few hours.
"Venessa, Will you read me a story?" He asked me with his eyes full of hope. I smiled and nodded. He ran out and came back with a book in his hand. He climbed the bed and laid beside me, putting his head on my hand. I started to read the book.
After a few minutes of reading it, I felt his body relaxing and his breath was steady. I understood that he's slept, and I slowly moved my hand and laid beside him. I stared at the ceiling, and thoughts about Enzo had come back. It's been nearly a month or more and he didn't come to take me as he promised me on the phone that day. I tried to ask Nikolai to send me back, but he refused. He said that it's dangerous and promised he would send me if Enzo came here to take me back.
From then I was waiting for him but he didn't come every day little by little my hope was dying and I was being depressed. Whatever I do to stop his thoughts in my head but somehow I end up thinking about him and asking why? Why didn't he come to take me back? Didn't he love me? Was that night and all the promises he made were all a lie? Did he play me as he did before? There were a million questions running in my head that can only be answered by him.
While thinking about all these questions, I didn't notice my tears flowing freely through my eyes; I wiped my tears and slowly got up from my bed without making Roman get up from his deep sleep. I looked around for Dimitri but he was nowhere to be found. I moved around and searched for him, but he was nowhere in my room.
"Where did he go?" I whispered to myself while placing my hands on my waist.
"Ah!!!" A loud scream had me run to Roman and check whether he was okay. He was sleeping peacefully, after checking him I ran outside of my room closing the doors behind.
As I ran to the stairs, I saw Christina falling down on the steps while Dimitri was barking at her. I ran to Dimitri and made him shut it. I glanced at her and saw her crying out loud holding her right ankle. I noticed Penelope and Alan and Ivan hiding in a corner. I immediately understood it was their work.
I tried to help her, but she put a hand in front of my face, stopping me not to touching her. I nodded and glared at the ones who were hiding behind. They saw my face and walked over to us.
