In just these few days Roman and I have been so close to each other, I don't know how but it just happened. The kid has grown on me, it's hard to stay away from a kid like him and he was warming up to me. I made him tell his favorite things like food, clothing, games, etc. He is the silent type but when he smiles, he's the most adorable thing on this entire planet.
He never talks much. Once I asked Penelope about this once. She said that he was like this from the day when his mother left him. This made me realize why Nikolai is so fond of him, it's because he sees himself in him. He knows the feeling, and I can clearly see him trying to help Roman.
They both are in the same place, they are going through the same pain, their mothers have left them and the problem is they never tried to talk it out.
In the past few days, things between Nikolai and me were pretty awkward. Whenever he's around, I stay quiet or try to ignore him, but there's always some tension in the air. One can cut it with a knife if they want. I always feel his piercing blue eyes watching my every move like a hawk. My body shivered under his watchful eyes, the intensity in them always has goosebumps all over my body. When I feel his eyes pinned on me, whatever I do goes south. It happens all the time, and I don't understand how I feel all these feelings.
Everyone in the mansion has been close to me so far, I always felt like I was part of the family. I never felt like an outsider.
Even though I do work and stay with them trying to be busy, his thoughts were always in the back of my head. The mere thought of him brings back that night and all those questions popped in my head and tears automatically found their way.
I love him and I love him truly, I realized I forgave him that night all over again. Even though he hurt me many times, I still forgave him for all his mistakes. Why do I forgive him all the time? I guess there's no answer to this with me. Maybe his love has blinded me; I never felt so loved by anyone before, his love was both a blessing and a curse. I have to suffer but can never escape.

Roman was playing with his brand-new toy which was brought by Nikolai from London and I was reading a magazine. I glanced at Roman, he was playing with his toys peacefully. Looking at him a smile made its way to my lips. I turned my head back to the magazine and flipped the paper.
A very irritating high heels sound made me turn my head to the main door and A blonde with long legs wearing very revealing clothes came to my site. She was walking like a model and I thought she might be one.
I stood up and walked towards her, and I was about to call her then I saw Flora walking to her and kept quiet.
"Hello," she said with a welcoming smile but that woman looked at her without any expression. She looked at her up and down and gave her handbag to Flora and said,
"Don't put it down."
Flora's face fell when she said it, I took a step and opened my mouth to put her in her place but Flora grabbed my hand stopping me. I looked at her asking to release my hand with my eyes, but she chose to ignore it.
"Where is Nikolai?" She asked, breaking our silent argument. Flora turned to her and said, "He's in his..." That bitch cut her off saying "Don't bother I'll find him myself" with a weird expression and climbed the stairs. Looking at her expression my temper rose before I could call her, my mouth was covered by a hand, I turned to see Flora shutting my mouth with her hands.
I glared at her signalling to move her hands off my mouth but she shook her head and I tried to move her hands off my mouth. She was stronger than me. Her grip was hard, and I had to stay there doing nothing but glare at the bitch's retrieving figure.
After she was no more in our sight Flora removed her hands, with a sad smile she left to the kitchen. I was still glaring at the stairs where she walked.
"She might leave it but I won't, I'm gonna show that bitch what happens when someone messes with my mother" I heard a feminine voice coming from behind me, I turned back to see a fuming Penelope.
"I'm with you," I said with a wicked smile on my face.
