"Why?" He asked me, looking straight into my eyes. I gulped and tried to open my mouth and say something to defend myself but my voice wasn't coming out at all. His ocean blue eyes were staring into mine trapping me with it. I couldn't move nor talk because of his intense stare.
With all my will power, I tried to open my mouth once more. I...(swallowing the lump in my throat) I didn't do anything," I said to him while looking in the eye and with a serious expression on my face.
Leaning close until he reached my ear, "Don't Lie," He whispered while pressing his cheek to mine. I soundly swallowed and said, "I'm not lying" My hands were fisted and my nails were digging into my skin.
"You're lying" He whispered as his lips brushed against my earlobe. I put my hands against his chest and pushed him back with all my strength. He stumbled back. I turned around to run, but Nikolai caught me by my arm and spun me around, my legs hit the bed and I was about to fall on Roman but Nikolai's arms wrapped itself around my waist. My back hit his chest and his hands were gripping on my waist very tightly.
I can feel his hot breath on my neck; My body was shivering and causing foreign feelings. I was breathing rapidly and struggling to control myself. I can feel him inhaling my scent, and leaning his head into my hair.
"If you're not lying then why did you try to run?" He whispered against my ear while his hand was moving to my stomach.
"Are you running from me?" He asked.
His hand was moving dangerously slow under my top, my breathing hitched when his hand came in contact with my bare skin. My heart was beating rapidly against my rib cage and electricity shot all over my body.
I opened my mouth to tell him to stop, "Shhh!" He placed his free hand over my mouth, "Don't make noise, you'll wake Roman up," he whispered and slightly bit my earlobe which made me moan a bit.
"Stay quiet," he whispered and began placing wet kisses on my neck to my shoulder while pulling the top down. His other hand was moving to my chest. I liked the way he was kissing my neck and his hands on my skin. I was enjoying it, and I didn't want him to stop.
"Stop!" I whispered While breathing hard and as I was coming to my senses.
"Please...Stop," I said feeling breathless, he slowly withdrew his hand from my top and I can feel him taking a step back from me.
I don't know why but tears started forming in my eyes, I tried to control them and turned around to see Nikolai no more in my room. I looked around and he wasn't there. I walked to my washroom and broke down as I slipped down and leaned against the wall. I don't know why I'm crying, and I don't understand why I feel this way towards Nikolai when I shouldn't.
I shouldn't feel like this about him. Why did it feel good when he touched me? Why did I like the way he kissed my neck? Why? All these questions burned my head. I pulled my knees to my chest and wrapped my hands around my knees. I sobbed and sobbed. I love Enzo, and I know I love him so much but what are these feelings I feel when I'm around Nikolai?
As I was crying here, I heard a knock on the door. I quickly stood up and washed my face and walked out of my washroom while cleaning my face with the towel.
I placed the towel on the sofa and opened the door. Penelope with Alan was standing there looking at me with worried faces. I watched them confused at their expressions.

"What!" I said when their words sank into my brain.
"The auction is important for his business, and it's important to have a date," Alan said,
"Because of me, he may lose a deal he had his eyes on for the past four months," Penelope said with guilt and helplessness.
"We know it's dangerous, Everyone that comes there are either rich corrupted people or Mafia leaders... That's the reason Nick called that bitch but we messed this up and you are our only option Venessa," Alan asked me, pleading with his eyes.
I looked down at the ground and thought about their request. He still thinks it's me who did this all and I know he's still angry. It's not good for both us to travel together and I'm sure that good would come on this trip either.
"You won't be alone, Venessa; we are also coming with you as Nik's employees," Alan said, looking at her with hope.

I sighed, I can't say No to their pleading faces. "Okay, I'll come," I murmured.
"Thank you, Thank you so much" They both hugged me tightly with a big smile on their faces. I smiled too but deep down something didn't feel right. But I didn't let that show it on my face.
They released me and that big smile was still on their faces. "The actuation is held in New York, we will be going there tonight," Alan said, and I nodded my head to him.
