I was walking back to my room as I stared blankly at the ring in my hands, it was shining brightly and very beautiful to look at, shining whenever the moonlight fell on it.
I opened my bedroom door, Dimitri was looking at me with his sleepy eyes and I simply smiled at him and walked to my bed. Dimitri lowered his head and laid back on the sofa closing his eyes. I climbed on my bed and pulled my mattress till it reached my shoulders, I stared at the ring and I didn't notice my tears flowing through my eyes.
"I love you, Enzo." I whispered to the ring.

I woke up feeling something pulling my mattress off my body, I opened my eyes to see who was that idiot and saw Dimitri pulling it and growling at me if I tried to pull back my mattress.
"Dimitri!" I yelled at the dog, he growled at me still pulling the mattress.
"What the hell! Let me sleep," I yelled, but he continued to pull my mattress and I lost the tug war to him. I got up from my bed and walked to my bathroom; I brushed my teeth and took a shower and dressed up. I walked out of my room while Dimitri was following me like a shadow, he growls whenever I stop walking. With an irritated expression, I walked to the dining table. Flora, Penelope, Alan, Darwin, and four others were sitting there, laughing at something Alan said. I walked there, and everyone turned their heads to look at me. I sat down on the chair and stretched my hands on the table while resting my forehead on the table and groaning, "This dog is killing me," I cried out.
Listening to me they started laughing loudly, I raised my head and glared at them but still, they continued to laugh. This annoyed me and I groaned.
"Dimitri, Why are you killing her?" asked Alan to Dimitri for which Dimitri turned his head and looked at me, he then turned his head and started licking his bowl.

Alan started laughing at his reply and all others also joined. The four people were also laughing at my misery. Among those four, three were very good-looking men and one was a girl. They are Nikolai's people, Flora said they all live here together.
"What's happening?" came a deep voice and everyone turned their heads to look at the owner of the voice but except me. My body became tense, and I tried not to look at him. Last night's event flashed in my head, Our closeness and his hot breath on my skin shivered by the thought of it.
"Dimitri's a boss," said Darwin, I looked at him, sending a warning not to tell him but that idiot had to tell.
"Vanessa has a complaint against him," He said to Nikolai. He turned his head and looked at me, "What complaint?"He asked.
If I tell him, he'll say something and that will result in me shutting my mouth, so it's better to drop it.
"It's nothing," I said and turned my head.
In the corner of my eye, I can see him staring at me with a calculating look on his face. I gulped and stared down at my empty plate.
Flora served all of us breakfast and We started to dig in. "Guys Roman wants us to play basketball with him," said Penelope.
Everyone turned to look at him, he was sitting beside Nikolai.
Roman lowered his gaze and nodded his head, "Okay, then we'll play with you" Said, Nikolai. Roman raised his head and looked at us and smiled, his cute dimples appeared on his cheeks. He's adorable when he smiles.
Everyone agreed to play with Roman, after our breakfast, we walked to the basketball court.
"Okay now let's divide into two groups," said Alan to everyone.
"Who chooses the players?" Asked Darwin,
"Roman will," I said, turning to Roman who smiled at me.
"Penelope will be the opposite leader then," said Alan looking at her, I sense something there. The looks they share.
"Okay,!" Said Roman, gaining my attention.
"Okay!" We all said and stood according to the groups.
"Roman, hon come forward and choose who you want," I said.
He nodded and stepped forward; the excitement was evident in his eyes.
"Venessa," he said, pointing a finger at me. Everyone has a shocked expression. I think even I had a shocked one on my face. Still, I smiled at him and walked beside him.
Penelope smirked and eyed at Nikolai, "Nikolai" she said,
I looked down at Roman and he had no regret or anything on his face. Instead, I saw the corner of his lips moving slightly upward like a small hidden smirk.
He eyed Darwin and pointed his finger at him "Darwin" He walked to Roman they high-fived each other and he walked to me, we both high fived each other.
"Boris," said Penelope, he tall and strong looks like he can run continuously without getting tired.
"Ivan," Roman said pointing at the blonde, he was strong with a lean body and it's a good choice. I didn't know that Roman is this smart that he was choosing every single one very calculatingly.
"Norah," Said Penelope smirking at Roman, he just eyed at her and turned to look at Caleb.
"Caleb" Roman said, ``The brunette walked to us and stood behind us.
"Alan," She said, while he smiled at her and walked to her.
