Emily’s pov’s
“When I left evans house” I thought about what transpired between us.
I did all that just to have him close to me.
I did it to have him close to me and Eva, well mostly close to me.
The truth is that, I just want his presence around mine.
And I need to know why I feel different when his around me.
I just want to understand this feeling I get when he’s around me.
“Why do my body reacts that way to his touch?” I thought.
Why do I keep thinking about him
“Gosh! Evans why are you in my head” I hissed.
“This is so fustrating than I thought” I rubbed my head.
I can’t think straight anymore all I can about right now is Evans.
Evan’s pov’s
“It just that she wants me to act as her fiancee” I said lowly hopping he didn’t hear me clearly or my voice came out inaudibly.
But unfortunately for me he heard what I said.
“What!!” he screamed spitting out the water from his mouth.
“As your fiancee!!!! Are you insane” he added staring deeply at me.
“Chill Bro, can you please let me explain further” I said trying to clam the heat in the atmosphere.
“Alright am listening” he said and raised his hands up.
“Well she promised the sum of $5million if I can act as her fiance in front of her parents” I replied quickly while he looked at me with his eyes pop out.
“ You’re joking right “ he finally spoke hitting my shoulder lightly.
I had to give him the juicy part first that should calm him down.
“Dude that a whole lot of cash, just think about the house, the flashy car” he paused and looked like he was daydreaming about it.
“Oh my gosh I can’t believe this” he kept speaking non stop making me roll my eyes.
“Breath in” I said gesturing with my hands trying to clam him down
He did as I instructed him to and within a few seconds he looked calm.
“Well you busy saying gibberish without allowing me finish my statement huh” I said in mocking tone folding my hands.
“Whatever” he muttered rolling his eyes on me.
“Anyways I was able to secure a job for both of us in her company” I paused to see his expression.
Oh my God!!
“You’re joking around with me?, this ain’t funny?, are you for real?” he kept asking me unnecessary questions while I laugh at how he behaved dramatically.
Few hours later*
I was at the bar with Manson, well because him decided we celebrate the good news.
I decided to tag alone since his really in a good mood. I wouldn’t want to ruin his happy moment with my brooding mood.
“You look distress is there anything else bothering you” he asked concerned starting deeply at me.
Well, I guess he knows me to well but I don’t want him bothering about me.
“It nothing am fine” I mumbled the last part.
“Hmm c’mon man talk to me, we are supposed to be celebrating and not looking sobber” he said.
“I mean our lives is going to change for the better” he added.
“I can’t bear it if I lose Emily because she needs me to act as her fake fiancee” I said.
“What!!!” he half yelled surprised dropping the bottle of vodka on the counter.
Why?
“Because I love her, have fallen deeply in love with her” I said lowly.
“How can I be in such fantasy with her, when I can’t have her to myself ‘” I stated sadly.
“I want to be her man, her fiancee for real not fake” I said to him hitting the counter lightly.
“It going to be difficult, I don’t know if I can control my emotions around her” I sighed heavily..
“Does she feel the same around you” he asked looking at me deeply.
“I don’t know man but what am sure of is she wants me” I said affirmatively.
“It alright man, just chill and let’s see what happens next” he said and rubbed my shoulder lightly.
“If you both are meant to be then nothing can break you apart” he said sincerely still rubbing my shoulder softly.
“Let’s go back home” I said standing up and he did the same smiling widely.
As we left the bar, I kept having this feeling of been followed by someone.
But when I turn around I see nobody following me.
“But why do I feel so, is my emotions playing games with me now” I thought.
* The Next Morning *
* Emily’s pov’s
I woke up earlier than usual this morning and I wonder why.
I walked to the garden in my night ropes staring at the sky.
The sun is yet to rise though it happens to be a bright morning.
I moved around the garden as my hands swiftly touched the leaves in the garden.
As I did my thought was clouded with evans
Why do I always think of him
Why can’t I get him off my head
“Ahh” I sighed tiredly stomping my feet on the ground.
I remembered all the awkward moment we had when he was still here with us
I also remember how he made me feel when am around him
How I shuttered at his words
How much my body desires him
But the discussion I had with evans in the garden played in my head and I remembered his words that day.
*”You know sometimes in life the precious things we search for are very close to us but we couldn’t reach out to those things he said”*
*Why” she asked sniffing *
*”I don’t know maybe because we want that thing to come the way we imagine it to be but sometimes it comes indirectly to us”*
*Those words kept repeating itself in my brain.
I kept thinking what those words he said meant.
Was he trying to tell me something indirectly I thought pacing round the garden
How do I understand what he meant
I walked back to my room and enter the shower to have my bath
After I was done I walked up to my room and dress up for work.
After I was done dressing I hurried up to Eva room to bring her downstairs for breakfast.
I opened the door slowly to see her in her uniforms
“Hey baby” I said kissing her cheeks .
“But she totally ignored and kept staring at the window ..
.I looked at the window trying to find out what she’s staring at but I saw nothing which made me frown.
“Hmm there nothing there” I thought.
“Eva what wrong” I looked at her to see she held a sad face ..
“Why you sad baby, don’t you want to go to school ?” I asked again but she was slient.
“Eva please talk to mommy” I pleaded with her pouting my lips .
“I miss uncle Evans” she mumbled.
“Huh! Uncle Evans” I said chuckling .
“Is that the reason why my duaghter is so moody”.
“I missed him also” I said dragging her close for a hug .
“Mommy can you bring him back” she asked. Staring at me while I nodded.
“I will baby, so get up and prepare for school” I said tickling her while she laughed so hard rolling on the bed.
I dropped Eva in school and left to my company.
I meet my PA and she hurriedly followed me to my office.
She read out all my schedule for today and I only nod my head in acknowledgement.
“I guess that all for now right?” I asked without sparing her a glance.
“Yes ma’am” she replied..
“I would like you to go to this address and help me get some male clothing for Evans.
“Also give him this piece of paper to go through I was saying when my door cracked open
I looked up to find Evans head popped out from the door.
“Can I come him” he asked.
“You are in already I replied rudely while he chuckled scratching the back of his neck.
“Maya dropped the file and piece of note on my desk” I instructed my PA.
I would be doing it myself I said and she dropped the items before leaving.
I sprang up on my feet and went to the couch evans’s was sitting on.
“So how is my fake fiancee doing” I said smirking.
