Evans pov’s continues
“Mr Romeo James” I muttered shakily.
“You must be the fiance” he states staring at me vividly. But I remained silent because I couldn’t say anything.
“Oh dad, meet my fiance his name is Evans” I heard emily saying.
He is really her dad, oh no…..
“Oh you are welcome Evans, please have a sit” Emily’s dad gestured to me.
“Thank you sir” I shuttered..
We were eating as they all discussed but I remained silent.
Mr Romeo is emily dad’s….
I never got a hint, because she bears James as her surname and not Romeo.
This is so bad, I don’t think I can stay here anymore.
I need to leave this place and I need to leave her fast.
After all the pains he had caused me, I don’t think I can bear dinning with my enemy.
“Please where’s the restroom” I asked getting up from my seat.
“Follow me I will direct you” Mr Romeo said.
“Not to worry sir, the maids can give me directions” I said politely suppressing the in anger I feel inside me.
“No don’t worry, it this way” he said…
I got up and followed him from behind.
“You look familiar, have we meet before?” he asked me striking a conversation.
“No.. no sir, we haven’t” I replied
“Are you sure” he pressed still staring at my face.
“I am sure sir, never seen your face” I said faking a smile.
“Hmm alright, I hope you have good intentions for my daughter” he said.
“I do sir” I said sincerely even though am fake to her.
“You better because I won’t spare you if you play with her feelings” he said glaring hardly at me while I shiver in fright.
“Chill, am just pulling your legs” he said laughing and I smiled too.
“Go this way” he pointed and I followed his direction.
I got to the restroom and splashed water on my face.
I wasn’t pressed I just needed to clear my head.
Someone tell me all this happening is a joke.
“Tell me I ain’t dreaming” I said pinching my cheeks.
Oh no this is not a dream, this is real I added and splashed more water oh my face.
How can I forget the face of my parents killer.
How can I when I lost all my family that faithful night.
In front of my eyes my parents were killed.
My brother was sperated from me.
Why does he have to be Emily’s father.
I have vow to take revenge and that’s what I would do.
But can I, wouldn’t it hurt emily.

So Evans how did you two meet? Mrs james asked
“Well we met while working together in the office” I replied simply.
“Wow that sweet” she cooed.
“I hope you are aware she has a duagther right?” emily’s dad asked furrowing his eyebrows at me.
“Yes, Eva she’s a sweet child” I replied smiling.
“Wow, it seems as if you have met Eva in person” he said using the napkin to clean up his mouth.
“Yes I do” I Said.
“Then I guess your aware her birthday is….” He was trying to say when a phonecall came to his phone.
~ “Jason you supposed to be home now” he whispered but I heard him.
Mr Romeo / Emily’s dad
~ “Jason you supposed to be home now” I said over the phone.
~ “Hello sir” I heard another voice as I moved away from the dinning.
~ “Who is this?” I asked in authority.
~ “Sir we are calling from the clement hospital and the owner of this phone got into an accident”.
~ “What” I screamed and the phone fell off my hands.
~ Hello sir..
~ “Are you there the person” said over the phone.
“Ahhhhhhh” I screamed loudly.
Emily’s pov’s
“Ahhhhhhh” I heard dad screamed loudly.
What’s happening….
“Dad” I yelled as I left the dinning running to the direction I saw him left earlier on.
He was on the floor hitting it like it was the cause of his problems.
“Dad talk to me” I said in a scared tone.
“Please” I added already in tears.
“It Jason” he mumbled inaudibly.
“Jason” I and mom said in unison.
“Dad stop scaring me and tell me what happened please “…I pleaded.
“Acc- ident” he says with his voice cracking.
“What accident dad ?” I asked shaking him vigorously.
“Calm down emily” I look up to see Evans saying .
“Don’t you dare tell me to calm down” I pointed my fingers at him in anger..
“Don’t talk to your fiance in that manner” my mom said.
“His not …… I was saying as I felt someone hugged me tightly muttering words to me.
“It going to be alright okay” he said still hugging me as I bursted into a loud cry.
“Shhhh it okay be strong for your parents” he added.
“Okay” I said sniffing in as I pull away from his hold.
I need to be strong for dad and Mom, they all need me right now.
If we all are down, who would look at for each other, who would be there for each other.
I use my hands and dried my tears before breathing in and out heavily.
“Be strong emily” I said to myself as I watched my both parents wail in their tears.
“Dad which hospital was he admitted to” I asked trying to sound strong.
“Clement hospital” he mumbled inaudibly but I could hear him.
I grab my car keys from the table and signal for Evans to follow me. .
“Am going to see things for myself” I said as evans trail behind me..
Clara’s pov’s
I have been on the bed fuming in anger as I watched the news repeatedly.
“Ahhhhh” I screamed throwing away all my creams from the dressing table.
“Who they hell is that bitch to steal my man” I thought.
I stomped my feet in anger, as I bite my fingers with different thought running into my head.
*No his not my husband, but my finance* that word kept repeating in my head.
“Noo” I screamed holding my head in pain.
“I can’t lose Evans his mine, mine alone” I half yelled throwing my lamp stand away as it crashed to the floor making a loud noise.
“Ma’am are you okay” a maid came running into my room in fright.
“Get out” I yelled at her in anger.
“Out” I screamed at her and she scrabbled away in fright
“Oh my goodness” mom said rushing in looking at the whole place in fright.
“What’s going on here” she added waiting for an answer from me.
“Why is your room so disorganized” she asked again.
“Is my angel in tears” she added coming close to me but I still ignored her.
“What happened baby, tell me who hurt you” she said in anger.
“Mom it Evans” I said breaking down in tears.
“What about him my child” she asked uninterested.
“A bi*tch took him away from me” I said wailing.
“Well that’s good, you didn’t like him anyway” she said rolling her eyes.
“I do mom, I want Evans mom” I said in tears.
“It okay, stop crying” she consoled.
“It not” I mumbled.
“You want Evans right” she asked pushing my hair’s backward.
“Yes I do” I muttered.
“Not to worry evans is yours” she exclaimed.
“Really mom” I beamed and she nodded.
“Now smile for me” she said and I gave her a faux smile. …
