Emily’s pov’s
“Did you tell your dad” Evans asked immediately I kept my phone in my bag.
“I couldn’t bring myself to say anything to him over the phone” I replied.
“So what are we going to do?” he asked.
“I have no idea” I said and raised my hands up in frustration.
“if Rodgers is here then where is Jason?” I bite my fingers so scared as different thought got into my head.
“Hey calm down” evans said moving close to me.
“Let’s go to the doctor and know your brothers condition” he added.
Yes, true I held my bag ready to move out but he drew me close and placed a kiss on my forehead.
“I care for you Emily, no matter what happens” he said sounding sad.
“Are you okay” I asked worriedly and he nodded his head forcing a smile.
“Let’s go to the doctor office” he said sharply and I agreed.
**The doctor’s office**
“It nice to have you here Miss James” the doctor greeted sounding happy.
“How is your parents?” he added jovially.
“All fine” I replied feeling less concerned.
“To what do I owe this unexpected visit?” he asked furrowing his eyebrows at Evans and I.
“Well, my brother Rodgers was admitted in this hospital not quite long “ I replied his question.
“Am here to inquire about his health status” I added and he looked at me sadly.
“Is he responding to treatment, any complications” I rushed my words and Evans held my palms rubbing it softly.
‘Easy ma’am take a deep breath” he said gesturing with his hands and I did just that.
“Good, now to your question” he said staring at me.
“Your brother is doing fine and is responsible to treatment” he added smiling at me.
“Oh my” I said and released the breathe I never knew I held for long.
“So when would he be discharged” I asked.
“Well, his yet to wake up and we have to monitor him for some more time before I can give you any more assurance” he said hitting his pen on the desk.
*And I think we might still run some test on him” he said and pointed his pen to me before adjusting his glasses.
“Thank you so much” I said sincerely.
“It our job miss James” he replied smiling.
“Okay doctor, I will take my leave if that’s all”
“Yes that’s all please have a good rest” he added as I stood up stretching my hand for an handshake which he received happily and Evans did the same too.
“Let me go pay the bills” I said to evans moving to the counter where we meet the nurse .
“Sure okay” he said sitting at the waiting room.
I paid the bills to the nurse and came back to the waiting room to met him sleeping already.
“Did I waste so much time” I thought.
I thought of how to wake him but instead I found myself staring at his lips.
Gosh Emily not now I scolded myself hitting my forehead lightly.
“Are you okay” I heard a voice which startled me.
“Shit” I cussed as I held until my chest recognizing the voice to be that of Evans.
“Geez are you okay?” he asked yawning lightly as he stretched his arms.
“Yes, am done paying the bills” I replied shyly.
Gosh, why am I nervous around him again I scolded myself.
Okay I guess we should leave right” he said interupting my thought.
“Sure, so where are we heading to?” he asked looking at me.
“We going to my parents house” I replied walking to where I parked my car.
“Are you going to speak to them?” He asked standing behind me.
“I will talk to them tommorow, today isn’t a good time”
“It better tommorow after they have a good bed rest” I replied opening my door and he did the same.
I ignited the engine and drove out in full speed as the wind blew my hair due to the fact I left my window open.
I turn to Evans to see him lost in his own thought again.
What is wrong with him, and why has this wired attitude began since we left my parents house.
I got home and came down from the car but Evans still remain in the car as he sat in the car staring at nothing important.
“Aren’t you coming in” I asked him who looked l startled at my voice.
“Oh we are here” he exclaimed and walked down smiling at me.
Evans pov’s
We got into emily’s parents house again and we were welcome by her nanny.
“Shhhh they are asleep” she whispered to us though I wasn’t paying rapt attention.
“Thank goodness” emily said in relieved.
“I have cleaned the room you both would be staying tonight please go upstairs quietly” she added placing her fingers on her lips.
‘Which room nanny” emily asked walking slowly to the stairs.
“The first room on your left when you go upstairs” she whispered back and I nodded in understanding.
“Did you hear her” emily asked turning to look at me as we both tip toed to the stairs.
“Yes I did” I whisper back to her and she smiled.
“We look like criminals” I said chuckling.
“Geez you’re so right” emily said with her voice coming out loud.
“Shhhh” I whisper quickly and she placed her palms in her mouth covering it .
We both paused and turn around , to find out if we disturb anyone but there was none.
**
“That was fun” I said as we both got into the room arranged for us.
“This room looked classy” I complimented and she smiled .
I walked to the bed and lay on it breathing hard.
I need a show6 I said and she turned to look at me.
Well, good there are two bathrooms she mumbled.
“Really” I squealed.
“Yes use the one on the right and I would use the one on the left” she said walking to the bathroom.
I got to the bathroom and wow it look magnificent it was big enough to contain three people and it would still be spacious.
Well, it a life of a rich man I thought and imagine being rich.
Maybe then emily would look at me as her class and she might even consider me to be her real fiance.
If everything wasn’t ruin by….”
“I need to stop thinking too much” I concluded in my thoughts.
I came out of the shower dripping went, I walked to the closet to see a short and singlet.
I guess they really prepare for our coming I smiled.
I put on the singlet and began to put on the shirt too.
When I was done I decided to walk to the dressing table to look for the dryer.
I got there and I heard the door if the other bathroom clicked open as a figure came out..
I turned to see emily wet, with her towel with barely reach her knees.
“Shit” I cussed holding my mouth immediately.
“She looks like a seductress”
She stared at me I’m open eyes and turned her back.
“Close your eyes” she yelled and I did that immediately.
“Have you she asked ?”.
“Yes” I mumbled.
“Turn around” she added and I did as she said.
“You have no respect for a woman’s privacy” she said and huffed angrily.
I chuckled at her childish behavior.
“Is not like I saw anything” I mutter but unknown to me she heard.
“Di**head” she added and I smiled.
“Why are all this nighties exposed” she hissed forgetting I was still in the room.
“Mom I know it your doing” she added sounding frustrated.
“I can hear you” I whisper and she hissed.
“You can open your eyes” now she said.
I opened my eyes to see her already on the bed with two pillows used to divided my side from hers.
I laughed as I saw it and she stare at me confused.
“What’s funny” she inquired.
“You used a pillow to divide the bed” I asked smiling
“Yes” she mouthed in anger and I ignore her climbing the bed, immediately she turned her face the other direction and use the duvet to cover her body.
I removed the pillows she used to divide the bed slowly without her knowing and I wrapped my hands round her waist.
Emily is really funny?
