Grace’s POV

“Why did you leave your Alpha alone and come to me, Eric?”, I asked the man who was standing in front of me, waiting for my orders if any.
“It’s his order himself.”, His words confused me. I couldn’t help but wonder how did Zayden have an idea about everything then? “He met with an unknown vampire, who had the power to see the future and she told me that you might get kidnapped. So, he sent me for your safety. ‘She is my life, Eric. If anything happens to her then I will die. So, you have to keep your Luna safe at any cost.’ were his exact words.”, He explained.
Zayden might have had an idea that something might happen to him if he would visit at the said place alone but still, he thought about my safety, first.
‘Did he forget that I have power too?
That's a different thing that I don’t want to use because I am a peace-loving person.’
Ugh...Sometimes I hate how he thinks he could sacrifice himself for me.
‘Did he forget that he’s also important to me?’
“Your anger might scare the people staying here.”, I turned my gaze to Eric who made the statement like he could feel my anger.
‘But that is possible only if your wolf is on the surface.
So, does that mean?
Good! At Least I have one good point now.’
“Did you just mention a vampire who had the power to see the future?”, I asked, recalling what Eric said a moment before.
“Yes!”
“Is her name Jane? Black long hair, round face, red eyes and dense eyelashes?”, I asked again, remembering all the details of Jane of my dream, and saw Eric nodding. “So, she is not just my imagination.”, I said, more like I talked to myself.
“Do you know her?”
“Short of. But not personally.”, I replied. “Do you think that she is even involved in all this? I mean, she knowingly sent you away from Zayden just to get him trapped.”, I pointed out. “If she has the power to see the future then, she might have seen Zayden’s future as well. Moreover, aren’t vampires and werewolves enemies?”, I said, connecting the dots.
“Above all, I am just mad at Zayden for risking his life.”, I said, trying to control my anger.
“You should know his reason, Luna.”, He spoke more trying to calm me, but I was already mad.
“I hate how he decided to keep himself in danger for me, why didn’t he just come back to me if my safety matters to him the most. At least in this way, he would have been safe then acting like a puppet Zayden. I hate when he makes any decision on his own without consulting me.”
Eric chuckled amusingly. “He loves you deeply and maybe he makes any decision on his own because he doesn’t want to make you worry.”
I sighed and shook my head in disbelief at what I heard. “Did he think I am not worried now?”, I replied harshly. “Especially thinking that he is with that woman in his arms.”, I added and tried to not think bad about the two of them behind our room.
‘God, no, I must not think about him and Sarah.’
“What if they…”
Eric didn’t say anything because he knew that I was thinking right.
‘I don’t know Zayden is under spell but Sarah in his arms, means something, right?
I hope he won’t do bad things that will break our bond as a mate.
If they will have sex or something then I will surely feel that pain, the pain of betrayal.
And in case he will mark her then...then only death could separate them if it happens.
But in that case, what will happen to me?’
“Pain…”, A word came out of Eric’s mouth, made me turn my gaze back to him. He spoke like he knew what I had in my mind right now.
“Pain?”, I repeated his words and saw him nod firmly.
“You will get the most painful death one can ever get if he fully claimed her.”, He finished and gave me a pitying gaze which made me turn my eyes away from him.
‘I don’t like that expression he gave me.
I don’t want anyone’s pity.’
“You will die because of the pain, Luna.”, He said more clearly and I just nodded my head in understanding without looking up to meet his gaze. “But this is also one of the ways to break the witch spell. Any creature can come off the witch's spell automatically if his/her body faces intense pain. Pain of losing someone he/she loves.”
“By the way, this place is in the human world, away from the forest or any packs. This is Peter’ house. Just like me, even he used to stay loyal to the Alpha and stayed with us, until he found his mate, who was a human and because of which he left the pack and shifted here. You both never get a chance to meet each other, so if you don’t mind then he wants to meet you.”
I nodded my head after listening to him.
When I walked out of the room, I saw approx 20-25 werewolves in the living room.
‘Okay! Who is Peter among them?’
“Welcome to my home, Luna.” An unknown man came forward and bowed his head a little. I believed he was Peter. I gave him a small smile, noticing that he still called me Luna. “These are the werewolves who are ready to sacrifice your life for you if the war break’s down, which I believe, it will soon be. Because there is no way we will accept Sarah as our Luna even if that means going against our own Alpha.”
I heard others agreeing with Peter.
Thinking about the Alpha who was with another woman right now, I couldn’t help but let the tears fall before receiving a warm embrace from Eric.
I wished Zay would have been here.
‘I am sure he would have kicked Eric for embracing me because of his jealousy, even though it was just to support me.
Looking at the people around me, I know what does that means?
We will fight against Zayden himself.
But the question is ‘can I bring him back?’
Without hurting him?
Please Zay, please remember me.
Please don’t touch another woman if you know that that is not me.

Where am I?
Grace?
Zayden?
Eric?
Why does no one turn on the light here?
It’s so dark here.
Why am I alone?
“I don’t know why you’re so in love with this man?”, A voice?

“He is the son of the Moon Goddess and you know I love power.”, Another woman spoke and I knew that voice.
Sarah...
“I admit he’s powerful. I am not able to control his wolf even after using all my power.”, Who was this other woman?
White-eyes, a stick in her hand...
Witch...
How come Sarah is involved with a witch?
And I am trapped?

I tried to mindlink her but failed. The witch turned her gaze toward me with amusement and raised her eyebrow. “His wolf awoke, Sarah.”, he stated and chuckled.
‘I can’t move Zayden’s body, why?
What did you do with my human?’
“His stupid brother thinks that he will use this puppet Zayden as his slave but he has no idea that I am using him...mom”

How come Sarah had a witch as a mother?
