Third Person’s POV

Sometimes in our life, we have to face that time when we don’t understand how to express ourselves. You want to share your feelings but there are no words to say! Grace was going through the same situation. She didn’t know what to do now when she had finally found the name of the feelings she had for Zayden!
Yes, she was in love with him. But what now? What was she supposed to say to him, now? It was all new for her and she wasn’t bold and blunt like Zayden to confess to him about her love openly. So, instead of telling him that she loved him, she remained quiet and simply stared at his handsome face.
“My god! I get away from you for a bit and you don’t waste any time in disappearing.”, he said sarcastically.
Grace just kept looking at him. ‘How did she fall in love with him?’, She wondered. She was sure that she would never have any feelings for this criminal and would never love him. A month ago, she despised him with passion. But look, what happened to her now.
“What?”, Zayden asked worriedly as she continued to stare at him with no emotions. But, only she knew what was going on in her heart.
Zayden narrowed his eyes and brought his hand to touch her cheek to draw her to reality. And as she felt his touch, she melted into it. The spark ran through her body!
“Is this what love feels like?’, She asked herself.
“What happened, sweetheart? Is something bothering you? I am not able to smell your emotions. Tell me what happened?”, He asked with concern. How was it that he could express his love so easily, while she couldn’t even show it?
“No...Nothing. I was just…..thinking about something.”, She half lied, hiding her feelings.
“And what is it?”, he asked as he placed his hand on her waist and came to her side. He guided her towards the seating area.
“I will tell you someday.”, She replied with a smile. She didn’t have the strength to confess her love for him. What would he think, she thought.
“I am surprised that you are not angry at me anymore!”, He said and gave him his full smile that did wonders to her body. She put the blame on him for being so handsome and charming.
“I couldn’t be! It wasn’t your fault. You were just being….careful for not hurting my feelings in any way. And I am thankful for that.”, She explained and thought about the situation carefully. He married her forcefully and then marked her without her consent. For a moment, she could forgive him for both things. Well, she had already forgiven him for that but….but mating with her without her consent or forcefully, was nothing but a complete nightmare. She couldn’t imagine being raped by her own husband.
Zayden pulled the chair for her to sit while he himself took one next to her.
“Thank you for understanding, sweetheart. And I am sorry for being so harsh in the morning. I shouldn’t have kissed you without your consent.”, he said, lowering his head. He knew he had his right on her but that he had also promised her once for not to force himself on her in any way. And he was ashamed of it.
“No. don’t be sorry for that! I love it!”, She said before she could stop herself. He snapped his head in her direction, bewildered by her answer. It was the first time she had been so blunt about her feelings. Grace quickly realized what she said. “No, No! I mean….I..I was just..I mean…”, She stammered horribly, not knowing what to say in her defense.
Zayden laughed at her condition. His laughter was like music to her ears. She was really going insane, she concluded.
“If you like my touch and when I kiss you, then you just have to ask, sweetheart. I would gladly do it for you. Maybe much more than that. Oh no! I would definitely do much more than that. I just want your consent, baby.”, he said and came close to her ear to whisper what he was going to say next. “And when you would confess your love to me, then it would be the last moment of you holding your innocence. I would so gladly have your virtue and make you mine in every sense possible!”, he whispered seductively. It sent shivers down her spine. She was even more scared and reluctant to confess feelings now.
‘I better keep my feelings to myself for now.’ She thought to herself. Immediately she recalled something.
“At least, not speak these things over here. Everyone here are werewolves and they might hear us.”
“Don’t worry about that. They wouldn’t be able to hear us because the queen had kept a spell in the party because of which no one can hear what others are talking until they are standing close to them. Umm...just like humans. Just to maintain privacy. So, I can speak about all the dirty things without any tension of being heard.”
Grace shook her head and looked at him with shy eyes. Zayden was about to kiss her when a tinkling sound across the hall. Their moment was interrupted and they looked at the source of the sound. Both Vince and Crystal were standing there holding the little Vlad in arms to gain everyone’s attention.
“May I have your attention please! Thank you! Firstly, I would like to thank you all for attending this party! It means a lot to us. Today, for the first time, we have brought our grandson publicly on his first birthday. I would like you to gather around the center for the cake cutting ceremony. But, before that, I would like to thank Zayden again because of whom Vlad is here. Thank you, Zayden and congratulations for your wedding. I must say, you chose the perfect mate for yourself.”
Zayden smiled at the speech. Whereas Grace was spellbound. It was so embarrassing when all the people start staring at you and you know that they are looking at you...only. She smiled meekly and shyly whereas Zayden couldn’t be prouder. His mate was best and he knew that.
“Why did the queen say that you are the reason why Vlad is here?”
“Well, that's because Vlad was almost killed last year when his mother had been attacked but thankfully I was able to save him because I was near the place.”
“And his mother?”, Grace asked curiously.
Zayden sighed and shook his head. “I couldn’t.”
“Oh!”, Grace muttered and looked around. “Who is Vlad’s father in this crowd?”
“He is no more.”, Zayden said and Grace immediately stopped searching for Vlad's father. She didn’t look at Zayden by the little Vlad who was looking at his birthday cake happily. “Don’t be sad, sweetheart. Everyone had their own story. At least, he has a loving grandparents and uncles and aunts.”
“Hmm.”
