Third Person’s POV

Grace rolled in her sleep. It was the beginning of winter days. But thanks to her mate, who had provided the both of us two comforters, just to keep the cold away. It was early in the morning but none of them wanted to leave the bed. So, they laid sleeping under the warm comforters and the warmth that was seeping between their bodies. It had actually become a habit for the both of them to sleep like this. Zayden didn’t have to go out a lot to work as Eric was very much capable now to do the stuff. He was required only when the situation was difficult to handle. So, he spent most of the time at home with his mate. And Grace couldn’t be happier about it. She loved it that her husband could spend more and more time with her.
In the last three weeks, they had grown to know a lot about each other. There was almost no secret between them. There wasn’t any memory that they hadn’t shared. She had shared her whole childhood memories with him whereas he had opened his life to her.
Of course, they used to fight and argue, but then these arguments only strengthened the love between them, because it let them understand each other better.
In the last three weeks, they had shared so many sweet, intimate and loving moments. But not once had they taken a step to consummate their relationship. Though Zayden could smell Grace’s arousal from time to time but he didn’t take any step as he had promised himself not to do so until she initiated it.
These days, Grace also had her first heat, it was too hard for her to control the pain but thankfully, Zayden helped her by suppressing her pain by giving her pills instead of mating with her. She wanted to say a lot of things to Zayden but was too shy to say something or give any indication or signs. And the worst part was that, even though she wanted to confess her love to him, she couldn’t. Because she knew, he couldn’t waste a second to make her his as soon as she confessed.
But she was also checking the date, she didn’t want her husband to go through the same pain which he had felt on last full moon night.
“What are you thinking?”, Grace gasped as she heard Zayden ask her out of the blue.
“Good Morning!”, She said cheerily, ignoring his question. That smile brought a smile upon his lips too.
“Morning, sweetheart! You look beautiful.”, He complimented as he ran his hand inside her top.
Though his hands weren’t even near her breast but just like that, she could feel her getting aroused by this simple act by him. She blushed at her wild thoughts.
“Sweetheart!”
“Hmm?”
“I can smell you….again.”, He growled and she saw a flash of canine. Realization dawned on her that he could smell her arousal. Her cheeks turned pink and she started looking for an excuse to leave from there as soon as possible.
“It’s my turn to prepare the coffee.”, She muttered as they alternatively prepared coffee every morning.
“Is it?”, he asked as he totally forgot. Also, he knew his mate just changed the topic.
“Hmm. I will be back in five minutes.”
After fifteen minutes, when she came back again with the two coffee cups in her hand, she was surprised to see him not on the bed. When she called for him, he came with an envelope in his hand from the walk-in closet.
“What’s this?”, She asked, not caring for the answer.
“A surprise for you.”, he stated, which caught her attention. It had been so many days that he hadn’t surprised her in any way. So, she was excited to know what it was. His surprise always lit up her mood. They were always something that left her speechless and insanely happy. Someday, he would bring the best collection of flowers or the classiest jewelry set, or beautiful dresses. So, anyone could imagine her anxiety to know what would be inside that envelope.
“What is it?”, She asked in a childish voice.
But, instead of telling her anything, he sat on the bed with his cup of coffee and asked her to sit too.
“Not now! Or else you won’t enjoy the coffee!”
“Fine!”
When they finally finished the coffee, she almost jumped on him to tell her about the envelope. And seeing her excitement, he chuckled aloud. He extracted the envelope from his pocket and passed it to her.
Grace didn’t waste a second to open the envelope and see what’s inside. She removed the two papers and read the minute script.
“Fight ticket?”, She asked aloud as she read the airline’s name on the top.
“Yes. We didn’t go anywhere after our wedding. So, Allison gave me an idea about this. It’s kind of our honeymoon destination.”, He said with a grin.
Grace was happy to hear that. This was the first time when she would go out of this state. Not to forget, she would travel for the first time in flight as she never got any chance earlier. From childhood, she had made a wishlist to travel to some select places where she wanted to go.
When her eyes fell upon the name of the destination, her breath was caught in her throat for a split second. She couldn’t believe it. Either it was a coincidence or Zayden really knew her favorite place. She looked at him with the brightest smile upon his lips. The happiness was showering out from her eyes too!
“How did you know?”
“You are my sweetheart! And it’s my business to take care of your wishes.”, he said with a content smile. She was happy and that’s what all mattered to him.
She immediately jumped on him and hugged him dearly. The collision made him fall on the bed with her on top of him.
Grace kissed him passionately while showing her thanks to him in this way.
After all, Zayden was taking her to her dream place!
