Zayden’s POV

She claimed me.
And I claimed her back.
I am no longer Grace’s.
Immediately I realized that I was aware of everything around but how? Didn’t that witch control me?
‘Shut up and pretend.’, I heard Dominic’s voice in my mind.
‘Thank god, Dom. Even you are in your senses.’, I cheered happily and looked at my mate in her wolf form. She was barely breathing.
‘Don’t do anything stupid, Zayden. We came in our senses because we now have witch blood in our veins after marking Sarah. I could sense that it has increased my power and has made me stronger.’
‘What do you mean?’ I asked and something happened.
I can move my finger!
Oh god, I am able to move my body again!
‘Stab Grace with our dagger which we alway tie near our ankle.’, I heard Dominic’s voice again.
‘What?
‘Do what I say and act as you hate her.
Remember, the curse that our mate will die.
And that mate will be Sarah, not Grace.’
‘But…”
‘It must be done.’, He growled and I stabbed her.
I saw her shocked expression but pretended to remain unaffected.
STAB!! I stabbed her again.
I looked up to see Sarah smiling in happiness.
She didn’t realize that I used my personal dagger to stab Grace, which has the power to trap anyone’s soul in the body.
So, there was no way Grace's soul could leave her soul.
‘I am sorry…
I am so sorry, Grace.’
“He will forever be my poppet. And after the rejection and this attack I don’t think you can survive.”, Sarah said to everyone. “You all can get lost who still want to stand by this weakling side.”
“Find them and kill them all!”, She ordered the rest of the pack members. I could see that they were reluctant to take orders from Sarah.
“WAIT”, I roared, before anyone would have moved even a bit. She looked confused when I slowly started walking toward her. But then I remembered about the witch who was watching everything as if it was any television show. “You can leave now but I am not in your control anymore. And now you can’t control me in any way because I have the witch’s blood in my veins.” I turned my gaze toward the woman who was known as Sarah. “Thank to your stupid move by letting me mark you. I am no longer under the witch spell and I have the witch's power as well.”, I finished with a smirk which made her face pale in a second to know the stupidity of her moves.
“Leave now or I will have to share all your deeds to the witch queen.”, I ordered that witch, knowing that she couldn’t do anything against me until I attacked her first. She left immediately.
“We...we are mates now and only death can separate us. So, you can’t deny about the things which happened between us.”, Sarah reminded me.
“Yes, which reminds me of the curse which I got from my mother.”, I walked closer and grabbed her face. “That my mate will be killed in my every life. And I won’t mind killing her with my own hand because I….Never...Want….you….as….my...mate.”
“You can’t kill me, the bon’t won’t let you.”, She hissed in confidence which made me laugh.
“You still can amuse me, Sarah.”, I shook my head in disbelief. “But you’re wrong….”, She looked shocked more when I gave her an evil smile before showing the white eyes that I got from her.
“How…”
“Thanks to you, I am half wizard now. And you should know that the evil power of a wizard/witch increases when they kill someone close to their relation. So, I won’t mind sacrificing my mate.”, I explained before grabbing her head and snapped it like a branch in the tree before I watched her body turn into ashes after I threw her head on the fireplace.
“Game over….”
‘We must hurry, those stupids might burn her or bury her body, thinking she's dead. And if that happens then we couldn’t do anything.’
I abruptly went out of the home, knowing where I could find every one.
“I just hope that they won’t kill me or attack me so that we could talk and I could explain everything to them.

I still can’t believe that I lost my senses because of the witch’s spell.
But then I saw something important from this adventure.
That Grace’s love toward me was deep like my own feelings toward her, she never lost hope and faith in me.
‘We are so proud of her.’
“Alpha!”, Theo called my name and I narrowed my eyes, remembering that he was the betrayer. “I am sorry, Alpha. Wyatt had kidnapped my family and he threatened…”
“Keep this shit to yourself, Theo. I will deal with you later. And as for now, prepare a small army of werewolves and send them in search of your family members. Rest, I will get back to it when I return.”, I said and looked around to check all my guards carefully, hoping my stupid brother, Sarah, and the witch didn’t harm them.
“All good, Rio?”, I asked him who nodded firmly.
“Glad to see you back on yourself, Alpha.”, He replied with a small smile. “I thought you’re going to lose yourself under the witch’s spells.”
“Now”, I said and saw everyone looking at me happily. “We must hurry to Peter’s house.”, I ordered quickly and saw him nodded. Some of the werewolves stayed in the house as guards and some to help Theo, while we with more than ten werewolves ran toward Peter’s house to reach there as soon as possible.
‘Wait, Grace, we are coming.
We’re not letting you go, not in this life.’

I stopped abruptly and wore the boxer to hide my gems from the ladies who were present near Grace's grave.
‘Are we too late?’, Dominic panicked but with the help of newly gained witch power, I could see what had happened a moment before.
‘We are not late, at least not yet.’, I replied to him and saw everyone staring at me with hatred.
With a small smile, I spoke. “I know I’ll be seeing you all here, Eric, Jane, Peter and Tia.”, I greeted them to see confusion forming on their faces.
“Alpha Zayden, I didn’t know you had your voice back or remembered this place.”, Peter said with an angry expression that told me that he still didn’t trust me.
Shit!
How can I explain this to them?
I chuckled a little. “When I saw you in the ceremony. I knew Eric would have used your place to stay. And after coming here, It was easy to trace you all.”, I said and smirked at my intelligence.
‘Please...I am Zayden!’
“Why are you here, Alpha?”, Eric asked and made me turn my gaze toward him.
I took a step closer on which Peter growled at me and along with other wolves on his side which got a response from Rio and the werewolves who also growled at them for insulting their Alpha.
‘Damn it! I don’t have much time and these mutts are growling at each other.’, I thought and looked at Eric as my last ray of hope.
‘I don't want any war.
But if they will not leave any other choice for me then I will have to.’
