Ariana's POV
I tried to grab my locket but my hands refused to obey me, Samantha quickly came in front of me and kicked the locket out of reach, "the real face of this woman is about to be exposed, you all will find out that she's nothing but a freak, meet Ariana, the witch" she moved away so that everyone would see me, all eyes were gazing at me as I stayed on the floor on all fours. I felt a rush in my veins, it felt like my blood was boiling hot, my veins were burning, I felt hot, sweats were already dripping from my body, memories bombarded me and suddenly, everything seem too loud and noisy, I held my head to stop it from bursting, that was exactly how it felt, like it was about to burst, pictures of my mother being torn apart by a wolf flashed in, "nooooo" I screamed wishing the pain will go away, visions of Dylan and Myla hugging, him telling her he loves her flashed in, the pains erupted, I felt myself floating upwards, I was gradually transforming into my real form, the form of a witch, those already seated stood up and run about in confusion, I felt a camera flashed and I roared, staring towards the direction of the photographer, my eyes burned, I stared at him so fiercely that I saw his camera shattered in his hands, he screamed in fear as he bolted, the sky darkened and a bolt of thunder struck, more screams in the hall, I was hurt, deeply hurt by Dylan, I would never forgive him for betraying me so cruelly, "nooo" I couldn't bear the pain, it hurts so damn much, I closed my ears, to stop the echoes, the too much noise, then in the middle of it all, I heard his voice calling out to me, "Ariana, please calm down, look at me" tears freely flowed down my cheeks, I used to love that voice but now, all I hear is the voice of his betrayal, h took a step towards me and I screamed for me to stop, pointing a finger at him to warn him of, instead, my finger brought out a flame of fire but before he could be burnt by it, he managed to elude it, in a flash, he got to where I am, "I'm here Ariana, calm down" his arms wound around my waist, trying to hold me put, instead of the sweetness I do derived from his touch, this time, they burn, I shoved him away from me, so hard that he lost his footings and fell at my foot, I didn't know where I got the strength from, the sting from his betrayal still ringing in my head, I felt like throttling him, and I did so exactly, not going close to him, I moved my hand as if to raise him up and watched him floated into the air, holding his neck where I had pinned him, I knew if he had wanted to, he could have easily avoided being caught by me, why did he allow me to catch him, he was staring deep into my eyes, I met his gaze and memories of what we had flashed in and then his betrayal, angrily, I threw him to the ground and he landed on his back, I saw Myla ran towards him asking if he's okay, her voice filled with love and concern, love and concern for him, I waved my hand and she flew to the side,"no one should come near me, I'll kill everyone if anyone dares" I screamed, my head hurt, I held it with my hands screaming in pain and then I felt myself floating upwards, I closed my eyes against the pain and soon everywhere was silent and there was only darkness.
I opened my eyes and shut them immediately against the bright light and then opened it more slowly, the room I was in was nicely furnished, its walls were decorated with 3D wallpaper, I slowly sat up and walked towards the wall mirror hanging close to the bed I was lying on, "where am I?"
"Thank goodness you're awake, I was so worried" I whirled around to see Eric leaning against the door with arms folded across his chest, "what are you doing here? How did I get here?"
He unfolded his arms and shrugged, coming closer, "do you think that Dylan would have allowed you to live after what you did to him?" I closed my eyes as pain shot through me at the mention of his name, his betrayal tastes like a bitter gall in my mouth, Eric placed his hands on each of my shoulders, "that's what I've been trying to tell you, never trust a werewolf, I was only looking out for you because your mother belongs to the same coven as me" I have lost so much in life, but Dylan's betrayal was a big blow to me, I clutched at my chest as pain rippled through my heart, "I just want this pain to go away, please, help me, I can't take this anymore, I wish I could just forget everything that had happened"
"I can help you get over the pains you're feeling, I can make you forget but I'll need your permission for that" was he really asking for permission to help me overcome my pain? He's got to be kidding me, "anything, I just don't wanna feel this way anymore" he thought for a moment and suddenly stood up, "I'll be right back" with that, I was once again left alone, I thought of Dylan, he had promised that I'll be the only woman he'll love for the rest of his life but it seems like they were just talk, he didn't mean any if them, flashes of Myla wrapping her arms around him, his confession of his love for her just won't leave me alone, I can't bear this anymore, I wailed, I just can't go on without him, he was my strength and my world had revolved around him, I wished I could just die, I was going crazy from all of these, I was damn tired of everything, I stood up and ran to the door, Eric had left it opened, I walked downstairs, I was going to go out of the house, looking for the exit door, I found myself in his kitchen, my eyes sighting his knives on the rack, I carried one, "I'm going to end all of my pains right now" without a second thought, I slit my wrist, cutting through my veins, I watched as blood pumped out furiously and soon I started to feel dizzy and my face met the cold floor as I fell on the floor, in just a matter of minutes, I'll be dead and everything will be okay, "goodbye Dylan " I whispered as I closed my eyes.
Samantha's POV
"You did that on purpose right, the removal of that locket triggered her powers, why did you do such a thing to your own sister" Damien fumed, we were standing in Dylan's office, the three of us, Dylan had been awfully quiet since I got here but Damien just kept pouring his rage on me, he grabbed my arms and jerked me closer to him, "why this wickedness?" His words hurt, did he really think I am wicked? Can't he see? Ariana has been exposed still I got blamed for her freakiness, I wrenched my arm away from his clutch, " I did nothing wrong, she's a freak, why blame me, I didn't make her one" his expression was aghast and he shook his head, "you still do not see anything wrong in your actions, do you, do you know how much damage your selfishness has cost? Dylan could have been killed"
"At least he knows she doesn't deserve being loved by him" I fired back and jumped when Dylan suddenly banged his hand on his desk, "enough" he bellowed pointing one finger right at my face, "so, you'll now tell me whom to love?" He gritted and walked towards me menacingly, his eyes flashed gold and his face set in deadly lines, I shivered as my heart froze in fear, I hadn't encountered this aspect of him, I shook my head repeatedly in denial of his claim, "n...n...no" I stuttered in the face of his anger, taking a step backward, I glanced at Damien, hoping that he would get me out of Dylan's wrath but that wasn't forthcoming because he was standing firmly behind Dylan, his gaze also fierce,
"You will speak, only when I ask you to and that is to answer every question of mine" I nodded eagerly, ready to appease him, he stood right in front of me, "you always knew that something like that will happen if that locket is removed from her"
"I....I..." My teeth were chattering so badly that I could barely say a word, "yes or no" he bellowed and I whimpered, "y...yes"
"So why the hell did you do that out there?"
"I...I..." He grabbed me by my neck and I felt it could be snapped any moment from now, Damien wasn't doing anything to help either, "let me rephrase" he gritted, "who sent you?"
"It was Eric's suggestion, I swear I had no idea such disaster will happen, not until he told me about it, so, I thought..." He pushed me away from him so forcefully that I landed on my butt, " Eric..." He screamed running his hands through his hair, Damien patted his shoulder, "we'll find her"
He walked to where I was seated on the ground and curved his hands as if to strangle me, a tendon appeared on his neck, unconsciously, I rose my hand to shield myself, and he forcefully allowed his hand to fall by his side, "just get this woman out of here before I strangle her to death" he bit out and Damien walked to me and helped me up, I quickly scurried out of his office, my eyes were flowing with tears as I ran to my office, I'm not staying here even a second longer, woe betide me if he didn't get to find Ariana, he would kill me for sure, I carried my bag and made to leave but Damien was standing in my way, "where the hell do you think you're going?".
