Ariana's POV
The moment that Dylan went out, I summon my inner strength and stood from were I had fallen, the driver tried to hold me but I angrily shrugged off his hands, I don't need anyone, the only thing I needed right now is for my dead father to come back to life, I ran into his hospital room just in time to see the nurses covering him with a white cloth so he could be moved into the morgue, no, I couldn't believe that my only parent is out of this world, he had never played the role of a father to me but after hearing what he had to say, I was the bad daughter here and not him, all I have ever done is caused him numerous pains, I sniffed as I slowly walked closer to his still form, tears flowed uncontrollably down my cheeks, my whole body was shaking, slowly, one step at a time, like someone in a trance I walked towards him, not saying a word to anyone in there, I held up my hand to still the nurse who was about to wheel him to the morgue, "are you sure he's dead, please have a recheck, my father cannot die, he can't just die and leave me with all my unanswered questions"
A nurse tried to console me by placing her hand on my shoulders to offer her comfort, but I pushed her off, comfort wasn't what I wanted right now, I whirled on her, choking on my own sob, "I don't need your pity if you truly want to comfort me, then please do well to bring my father back, that's the only comfort I need right now, otherwise, just get out" they stared at each other, seemingly confused at whether to obey me or to remain in there with me, "I said leave, can't you hear? Leave, I want to be alone with my dad right now"
"But ma'am..." A nurse started, from the corner of my eyes, I saw the one whom I had pushed away from me shook her head, stilling whatever the other had to say, "alright, dear, we'll leave you with him for now but we'll be back soon" with that they left and softly closed the door behind them, I stared at the covered body of my father, and slowly, I drew the cover down, he was so still and pale, a whimper escaped me as I held his cheeks in my palm, I realized that it was the first time I was touching his cheeks, sobs raked my body as I knelt beside his bed, placing my head on his chest, I couldn't do such when he was alive, I don't even know if he had forgiven me for all my wrongs, "dad, please don't die holding grivience against your daughter" I cried out, rocking my head on his chest, "I'm so so sorry dad, I'm to be blamed for your death, I killed you slowly, I shouldn't have been born, dad please forgive me, I'm not a good daughter, I even allowed you smoke and drink right after an operation"
"What? You watched him smoke and drink? You knew he just did a major operation, yet, you allowed him" Samantha's shrieked just as she came into the room, throwing me off him, "don't you dare even touch his body" she warned fiercely, pointing her fingers at me face, "I hope that you're finally happy that once again, you've deprived me of a parent" pain combusted in my heart as the truth if what she had said hit home but I never wanted any of this, I stared at her, willing to take all her blame, I'm at fault here, I'm the ill luck and bad daughter, her eyes were red and swollen from crying, she slowly turned towards dad, "dad, please, I'm here, wake up dad, your daughter is here" the nurses soon came inside and insisted on now taking the body to the morgue, "Sam, I'm sorry" she stared at me with so much hate and anger that I shuddered from the impact, she has every right to hate me, even I hated myself, I watched as she cried along side the dead body as they wheeled it away, I fell down to the ground, hugging my knees against my chest and whimpered, he said I was a witch right, perhaps, I could wake him, but gosh, I don't even know any spell to say, yes! Eric, he's a wizard, right? I need him right now to come and wake up my father, I had to go and look for him, I stood up and ran like a mad lady out of the hospital, I need to get Eric at any cost, he just has to wake up my dad.
Dylan's POV
I gazed around and saw a man with a camera walking towards the side building of the hospital, he was smiling as he gazed at his shots, I followed closely behind and observed as he brought out his phone when he thought he was well hidden as he stood unseen by anyone else at the side of the hospital, "you'll be surprised at the shots I just took now, you'll pay me a double for it" I listened as he said over the phone, his voice held a shrill of excitement and I inwardly smiled at the doom about to befall him, "it's about Dylan Sabastine's mystery woman, you'll see it for yourself, I'm coming right now" just before he hung up, a wind suddenly blew, carrying dust and he had to close his eyes for a moment, thank goodness, I didn't let the opportunity slipped past me, I moved like a flash and collected the camera from his hand, not giving him time to get a glimpse of myself, "what was that?" I heard him whisper as he hung up. With one strong squeeze, the camera was in pieces and I threw it to him before I moved like a flash to a concealed corner where I can observe him, all these actions happened in a jiffy, I watched his eyes widen as he stared at his broken camera, turning around and hoping to catch who had done such grievous act to him, "no! My camera, my shots, I haven't even backed it up" he cried as he gazed up, ", who are you? Show yourself, come out and face me " he raged and I smirked from my corner, my job here is done, now, Ariana needs me.
