The Forgotten Billionaire Chapter 45

Thea's Point of View I picked up the cutlery again but before I could do that I saw Aunt Joana’s clenched hands as Mason dropped the spoons and forks because they were so heavy, they sounded loud. “I don’t know what your problem is. I don’t know if you are mad at us, but you are being disrespectful! Is that how your parents raised you— ” He didn’t finish what he was saying because I threw the glass behind him and it hit the wall. Aunt Joana's eyes widened as I looked at them coldly. “Don’t ever question how my parents raised me because I act based on my actions. Ask me again how they raised me. I will forget that you are my brother, Mason.” I stood up and looked at Aunt Joana again. “If you continue to disparage them, the mattress you were sleeping on will become a frigid chair, and I will put you outdoors in the bitter cold.” I threw the tissue on the plate, then came out. When I return, I will make sure I will focus on my parent’s case. I will find out what happened to them. And when I found out that they were the culprit, I would never forgive them again. The heat of the sun and the wind blowing off the plane bothered me. Passengers descended one by one while I struggled to come down. It would be tough for me to even pull my suitcase afterward. Everyone was unaware that I had arrived, and no one knew that the plane I was on had landed because I had severed my ties with the people in Turkey long before. I slipped my clasp as I entered the airport since I had been in need for a while. “M-mom-my.” I smiled because it was hard for him to pronounce the words. He is 1 year and 3 months old, but he is walking well and straight. I held his little hand, then held the suitcase in the other hand. “Mom.” He could not keep up with what he was saying because he had not yet pronounced the words properly. He was pointing at something outside and when I looked at it, there are balloons with the faces of various cartoons like SpongeBob, Mickey Mouse, and other characters that he was watching on TV. “Do you like that?” Even though I hadn’t fully recovered when I lifted him, I carried him again. I should have scheduled someone who could pick us up immediately away because my hand is now numb. Cray is heavy and spoiled. He is no longer like back then when all I needed to do was provide milk and he would be calm. We strolled up to the balloons when he nodded. It was two years ago. I’ve been out of Turkey for two years. I’ve lost my child two years ago. It’s also been two years since I realized I don’t have just one child in my belly, but that there is only one remaining because of Felicity’s actions. Even though my kid died I am grateful that God spared one to save me from getting depressed. When I moved to Spain, I stayed for two years. My previous months had been good, but as time passed, my physique, as well as how I felt, changed. When I went to Spain, similar things happened to me while I was still pregnant. Because it’s been a long time, and I’ve become used to the fact that my memories come flooding back, to the point that one day I simply fainted on the road while shopping because of how horrible I was feeling. That’s when I found out I was pregnant. When I asked the doctor how that happened, he said my son was a twin. One was too weakly fitted, while the other didn’t leave my belly. During those times, I felt too much joy but also too much frustration because I already remembered who Randall was. He wasn’t just a mere business partner that I married. He was my boyfriend for a long time, but the day I introduced him to my parents was also the day they died due to an accident. He has been my partner in everything. Megan didn’t know about him because I am afraid my parents will know. Because I knew they would take Craig away from me. After all, we were too young. That’s why she didn’t know Craig. I don’t know how I would feel at those times because I knew my son would get old without a father by his side. We approached the balloon seller, and I bought the ones he wanted. He grinned sharply, so I pinched his cheek. He got it all from Craig. From the blue eyes to the complexion, and how he smiles. I can’t stop missing Craig. For the past two years, he has marked my heart. During those years, I did nothing but wait for him to repay, even though I knew he would not look for us. He has not apologized, yet I have forgiven him. I was surprised when a car suddenly stopped in front of us and two guards came down and took my suitcase, as well as Cray. I quickly avoided Cray at the man taking him, then looked at them badly. I have booked no one to pick us up, so who are they? “W-wait, who are you?” I held Cray tightly, then stared at them one by one. They look like gangsters because of the size of their bodies and are even shaded. They didn’t speak and just opened the car and waited for us to enter. “Take out my suitcase.” I gave them orders, but they did not move and the car door remained open. Since I have no choice, I’ll just find out who ordered it. When I got into the car, a familiar smell immediately covered my nose. I hugged Cray tightly because I knew immediately who the man had asked us. How did he know I was home now? I didn’t tell anyone, even Megan didn’t know I was coming home. Even though I had always wanted to see him before, I couldn’t approve of the racing horses in my heart. I don’t know if I’m ready. I looked at Cray, who was staring at me seriously. Even his stare made no difference to his father. When the car stopped, I saw a building that differed from his previous building. It has grown bigger, and the logo has also changed. When the guard pressed the button floor, my hug with Cray tightened. It was as if my heart stopped beating when the elevator sounded. The guards left us and went down. The office is enormous. That was better than my last come here. As we walked to the desk, my heart stopped beating, and I took a deep breath because of the man sitting in the swivel chair while his back turn to us.
