There was no sign of Simon's gravesite. She couldn't find it. David couldn't find it.

David was good with investigations yet he found no clue or did he know something? Quinn was the same age as Simon should he live.

" Take me home" she demanded as the chauffeur stepped on the brake pedal and drove off while she opened her laptop to work.
Her PA was on face time.
" I want you to hack a hospital's security cameras"
' ok. Which one?
" The city's hospital. They should have footage dating to four years ago"

" Good. Check the one with Simon's birthday. I know it's weird but check it out and get back to me"
" Yes ma'am" Kate ended the call then leaned her back on the chair rest.

Jobless and frustrated, Naomi sat in a diner waiting for someone.
If Cynthia thought she was out of the way then she was wrong. She was making a comeback one way or the other.
" I hope this is worth my time" came David's baritone voice as he took his seat.
" I have been waiting for hours" she complained while he shrugged.
" So they say when they're jobless" hearing him ridicule her for being jobless suddenly felt like she wanted to disappear.

" Believe me it was no joke. Go to the point"
" I need a new job. I can't leave like this. Alvin doesn't even like me"
" There's nothing I can do. I have a lot on my plate as it is. what about the assignment? Any luck?
" Perhaps when I get a job. I'll investigate more. Alvin doesn't have a son"
" He does. We must find him before her unless things will go bad"

" Don't get me wrong I'll do it again" Naomi furrowed her brows determined.
Since he's unwilling to help her well, she will gladly disappoint him.
" I see. How is she by the way?
" She's your friend I suppose. You should know these things"
" We're no longer friends. She's different. I don't know this part of her"

" Alvin has eliminated me from his house. He said I'm not welcome. I guess it includes his company. I don't know what to do anymore. He's the reason I betrayed Kate yet in the end I didn't even get a kiss from him. Cynthia is closer to him than I am. What's the purpose of betraying my best friend? What did I gain? I might have ruined her marriage but she turned out to be a world-class businesswoman but me, what did I get? Nothing. Absolutely nothing" she exclaimed throwing the glass cups on the table while David twitched his mouth.
" Perhaps you're not a seductress. That or you've no confidence or ambition. Alvin isn't a difficult man to please. You're just useless" he reveals signaling the waitress to get him some wine.
" That or you have a fish brain" Naomi snared offended, hit the table then stood on her feet to leave.
" Sit. Don't you dare walk out on me" he said warningly which she obeyed like a puppet.
" You're going to win your way back into his life and find Simon Reagan understand? She glared at him but nods nevertheless.
" Good girl. Now have a drink"
Colton and Alvin had a silver flash drive in their computer as they scroll down to find David's net worth, mega deals, contracts, assets, plants, satellites, and cartels but none of that mattered than information about Simon.
Alvin put his reading glasses on taking a closer look at it.
" He knows?
" Find Quinn. He's going to be homeschooled henceforth" he commanded as Colt nodded sauntering out of the house in a hurry.
" What's next? Came Alex Gregory's voice.
" Terminate his deals. That should do it. He won't know what hit him" and that's exactly what they did.
With Quinn's questionable identity, Kate found herself suing the hospital again and she had no intention of dropping the charges until she sees her son's corpse.
This troubled Cynthia thus she turned to Alvin.
" She sued us again. I can lose my license. My medical license will be revoked for it. you have to do something. She can't do this. Fix it' she yelled at him as Alvin shrugged puffing out smoke from the cigarettes between his lips.
" Calm down. You won't lose your license. I'll talk to her okay? She was pacing already.
" What's wrong with her? He's dead to her. She's fruitful. Let her have another child"
" It proves she's human. I don't expect you to understand because you are nothing like her" Cynthia was dumbfounded at his response.
" Do you really see me that way? I have feelings too. Do you know how it feels to raise a child that isn't yours? A child that the woman who stole your man beget? I'm like this because of you. Had you been faithful to me, we wouldn't be here. Truthfully, I wouldn't mind you having a mistress. Instead, you chose to marry her over me. There's no fucking way she's coming back to you. I won't allow it" that earned her a resounding slap as her head tilted to the side then he pointed a gun at her then fired it just enough for it to graze her arm but not too deep.
Cynthia froze with eyes rolling at what transpired all of a sudden.
" You don't know me, Cynthia. I'll bury you alive. Your good for nothing father will search for your corpse for eternity. Try me. I'm looking forward to it" he tells her as he blew on the gun he fired staring at her stunned reaction.
At least it'll take her days to recover from the shock.
" Get the contract papers for the GSK's group" yet she said nothing though her lashes blinked.
