After the get-together with Carla and her family, Kate was indeed welcomed into their family thus accepted Carla's request to pick Pamela from school.

There she was leaning beside the car waiting for Pamela to exit the gate but what she didn't expect was Quinn tagging along and the little boy seemed to know what he wanted as he showed her his twenty-two teeth stretching his hand for a handshake.
" Good day ma'am. It's a pleasure to meet Pamela's mother" Pamela veered around suddenly in shock but Kate chuckled touching his chin.
" That's nice but I'm not her mom. What a cutie" she complimented dazed by his fine physiques. It was too much for a little boy.
" oh boy, my bad. I'm Quinn by the way. Pamela and I are buddies" he introduced staring at her closely while Kate tilt her head in adoration.
" Where do you live? I can give you a ride home" she suggested. Pamela was about to refute but he spoke first.
" I'll love that. Pamela your aunt is such a beauty. Why haven't I seen her?
" You can discuss while in the car," she tells him as he nods entering the car while Pamela looked confused wondering what the wealthy spoiled brat was up to then entered the car.
" I arrived a few weeks ago anyway. Where do you live?
" Not that far. I'll signal you when I get there. If I may ask will you come to pick Pamela up Tomorrow? She chuckled amused by his chatty demeanor.
" Do you want me to? He nods scooting closer to her while Kate ruffled his hair giggling.
" Fine. You have a phone, right? Call me whenever you want a ride but getting your parents consent will be a problem"
" They won't mind. Dad is always busy. I doubt if he'll know" he said truthfully giving her the puppy eyes but Kate got lost at the mention of a father without the mom.
" And your Mom? His eyes gleamed but looked away from her.
" She left when I was a baby. Dad said she is not coming back ever" he reveals with anticipation but what he saw were pity and sadness then she smiled.
" You're lucky to be Pamela's friend. We can hang out sometimes that is if your dad agrees"
" I don't need his permission as long as I go home early. So where are we going? Kate sought Pamela's eyes which were drowsy from loneliness.

Colt would have arrived at the school to pick him up thus he texted him his location.
He was shocked to see Colt's car at the corner of a building watching.
" Pullover. I'm home. Thanks for the lift. Bye Pamela' he appreciated exiting the car while Kate waved at him.
" Be careful okay? And don't forget to wait for me tomorrow"
" Yes ma'am' he bellowed shutting the car door. She waved at him again then the car sped off leaving an excited but worrisome Quinn at Colt's Mercy.
He took a last glance back in content.
At last, he had met his mother.
But frowned as he approached Colton's car.
' get in the car. No one can ditch me. No matter how smart you are" he lowered his head in shame trailing to the back seat to sit down.
" I'm sorry please don't tell Dad about it" Colt Humm stepping on the brake pedal then drove off.
